@@GamingTank agree about just couse 3,i playd only 3 and 4,four is boring for moste part bc escord misions to capture bases, its more fun just to destroy, but tornados also can be fun.
For me even now I play the game for fun, it has the perfect amount of craziness and a amazing storyline about this crazy dictator crazy with power over a overpowered fossil fuel, not to mention the challenges to upgrade your equipment, vehicles, etc, the explosions and destruction, like you tap a another car and it automatically loses control and blows up or if you jump out of a tank, a curb will automatically blow it up!
I remember i lived by myself away from everyone i knew when i moved (for my work), and had nothing to do, was bored AF. I was 28 and didnt enjoy playing anything anymore, for a long time, then i met JC3. This is, by far, the best game ever (along with RDR2). Just moving around exploding things, and at sometimes it brings you such peace, depending on the place you are. I love it!
Great video. Lot's of valid points were made. The graphics still look great almost 7 years after release. The game holds up really well against current-gen games. The sense of speed you get from taking the wingsuit down a mountainside is tremendous, and in spite of how fast you're going, it handles so well you never feel like you're losing control. The experience of the wingsuit is enhanced beautifully with the rocket powered wingsuit from the 'Air' DLC, and obviously the Sky Fortress is tremendous fun to fly around. And the Eden Spark from the 'Sea' DLC is one of my favorite weapons in any game, ever.
Just Cause 2 and 3 are one of the the best open world sandbox games ever IMO. Also, about your critique of bullet spongy enemies in the game's beginning, I think that was done by the devs intentionally to actively encourage the players to experiment with the grappler. I'd also argue that the story isn't exactly "bad", it's good for what it is. After you liberate settlements, you are guided towards Di Ravello's tape recordings present in that area, of which there are 71 across the map. They give us important lore, backstory, and tell us how Di Ravello gained power. One of the tapes also talk about how Di Ravello used Bavarium fuel to burn Dimah's face.
DUDE THIS VIDEO WAS PERFECT. I grew up with this game and currently have thousands of hours in it and have always felt it was way to un popular. You made a great video showing how great it is and how funny/annoying it can be this was top tear entertainment 👍
Greatly enjoyed JC2. Once JC3 released, I was all about it. I often joked about wanting to blow up random things to friends in an effort to get them to ask why. My response was always, "Just Cause... 3!" 😂 Free advertising for a game filled with tons of fun. The destructible environment with all its explosive glory reminds me a bit of the game Mercenaries for PS2. Clearing the map completely is my personal favorite task. JC3 has its hiccups, however, the fun involved more than compensates. I appreciate the video. I'll give a "like" - 3! Lol Good job 🖒🖒
I had so much fun playing this game back in the day. I enjoyed going around finding all the collectibles like the di rivello tapes and doing all the challenges
One of the best open world games out there. It has its flaws but nothing is ever perfect. I had so many good times playing this and it’s still much better than jc4 in ways especially when comparing the maps and the colour
@@GamingTank yes. I was so exited for its release back in 2018 then slowly got more and more disappointed. Tried my best to like and enjoy it but after I completed the story and liberated all parts of the map, I never really took any notice to it again. Shame

Ran to give you a like just off the title because finally someone who thinks like me. I first played JC3 at a friend's house and had so much fun it was the whole reason I begged my dad for a console in the first place. I begged him for the game too even though I was like 14 at the time and I poured so many hours into the game because it never got old or stale or something I loathed playing. Everybody says 2 is the best but I think 3 is JCs magnum opus. Amazing video man
Been playing this and still one of my favorites, the physics and explosions down to the feel of the movement. True, the story is meh but Avalanche Studios crushed it when it comes to making an amazing sequel building on the strengths of its predecesor. DLC is worth its weight in gold and adds more of what makes it fun.
This game hooked me just with the Title screen: no music, just a badass drinking booze on a beautiful beach with a gun next to him. So understated it hits like a truck. I really think the Just Cause IP could be the new James Bond if movie studios ever saw it. It’s completely crazy, but it would be great to see Rico liberate Panau or Medici on the big screen.
@@GamingTank but that’s not the first thing your eye sees. Rico, gun, relaxing on a beautiful beach…oh and there’s something on fire out in the distance that Rico raises his glass to. No one is freaking out. It’s just another day at the office for Rico.
The only thing I don’t like about the game so far is that you have to go into the parachute to exit the wing suit rather than just being able to exit it
Rico may be the toughest hero character ever designed to be in video game. Catching rocket as it is hitchhiking alternative is great example. I remember in first game he jumped out of the plane. Free fall for few minutes to dive directly in to ocean while other losers use parachute.

I played this game on my low end pc with barely 30 fps with 800x600 resolution and it's still one hell of a ride. I could only imagine playing the game with 60 fps and 1080p res
I remember this game deleted my save and I was really upset. Then i realized yesterday that I already did everything in that save file so I may as well just start the game again
Great video! I appreciate how you brought attention to how seamlessly the combat and traversal are tied together. That, coupled with the overabundance of options the player has in combat, aswell as general polish and satisfying game feel, gives this game one of the best gameplay loops of all time that I honestly haven't seen any other game replicate. This formula needs to be perfected and expanded even more. JC4 was a downgrade from this game because it removed base liberation and focused too much on gimmicks, like grapple tools that have no use in combat or weather effects that would pop up every once in a while. I really hope JC5 or some new game from another studio picks up where this game left off. Honestly, thanks for just making this video, haha. Feels great to hear someone say what I've always been thinking. This game is so good that it's crazy that it's not more popular and talked about.
There are also some over the top mods for the pc that continue to add to the replay value. One of my favorite games that I still regularly play. Bavarium wingsuit flying at sub sonic sonic speeds(Superman mod) at 10,000 feet is a joy!
Idk what you mean the story sure isn’t the best but originally that’s what got me into the game after I beat the game I started playing for destruction I’ve played through the story 5 times it’s just so ridiculous it’s good
As a kid growing up when I saw the trailers for the game I always wanted to play it and when I finally got the chance to I can't believe how amazing and how much freedom you had and how much stupid stuff you could do that was so much fun me and my brothers would sit around the couch for hours just making cows fly. And even today I still think it's one of the best games of its kind out there.
JC3 is the best and there is no doubt, I also have JC4 which however I dropped very soon because destroying the bases was not the same thing, but I don't have the Danger Rising dlc which gives you the hooverboard and I would be quite curious to try it because I think it adds that little extra fun that the game really needs.
I find Just Cause 3 to be the perfect game. It’s got a pretty good story, amazingly fantastic gameplay(I’ve yet to find another game with such good gameplay), and the graphics hold up amazingly well for being such an old game. I have it on every device that can have the game and it’s one of my go to games whenever I need a reason to love gaming again
Honestly wish you spent more time talking about the dlc, the mechs are absolutely awesome to use to decimate bases, and the eden spark gives you the power of a god (when above ground.)
Hell yeah baby, I have literally 1005 hours in JC3 across platforms, 100% on pc in 35 hours, May be one the best players in the world and YES! it really is just an absolutely incredible game. Not perfect by any stretch but will never see it as any less then my fav game of all time
You didn't mention that getting the Barvarium wingsuit doesn't feel like a cheat code or a pay-to-win aspect, anti air rockets will target Rico if he is using it
My least favorite DLC is the Mech DLC and that's mainly due to the Black Hand prison camps. The main game also has prison camps and police stations, however with the former all you have to do is destroy the military infrastucture to liberate them (just like all the other bases, outpost and command centers excluding super weapons you can only destroy in the main story) and with the latter most often than not all you need to do is open the gates and spent about 10 - 30 seconds killing enemies(very rarely do you need to free inmates). With the Black Hand prison camps you don't just need destroy all the military infrastucture, but you also need to free every inmate(by walking up to each cell and pressing the interact key to open them up), hacking 2 terminals in order to free the ringleader(When you had to free inmates at the police stations you only had to hack into 1 terminal to free 1 inmate and there were really only 1 - 2 inmates you needed to free), make sure the ringleader doesn't die and hold down the fort for around 20 - 40 - 50 seconds (this really tedious when compaired to the other outposts and bases you liberate in this DLC).
Watch the E3 interviews and it'll be clear why it's so good: They actually knew what they were doing. JC4 was just a youtube clip generator, but the game director for JC3 clearly got it.
Man I love this game! It really was part of my life together with Infamous 2 and Rayman Legends. I think this game’s traversal is one the best ever made, it’s so fun!
i'd say the only thing i was REALLY disappointed by JC3 is the map.....i actually feel medici is a massive downgrade in terms of variety compared to 2 and 2 handled long distances views a hell of a lot better without having to fog up the distance, you could see from one side to the other really clearly while 3 has to hide it behind a blue fog covering up the beautyand some terrible long distance textures....also i really miss being able to dual weild a revolver in one hand and a sawed off shotgun in the other, bad idea cutting that from the game
JC 3 is honestly the peak of the series IMO, Idk why they goofed so hard with JC 4 when all they had to do was to follow everything they did with JC 3 and keep the interesting stuff like the extreme weather.
If you play on PS5 or Xbox Sirius X you have no more frame rate issues it's steady and it never drops I always like three more of the thing I hated about four is they got rid of handguns and they also the way you unlock stuff we have to clear territories the only look like one thing is so dumb
I remember I had tried liberating a military base in the mountain region and they would shoot nukes at you. And I glitched the game to where it would still shoot nukes at me even if I liberated the area
About the main fortresses. I finished them even though not doing a mission in JC3. The one on the mountains was hard but I did it twice now :) The funny thing is that the rebels are there but the missile system still wants to shoot you down.
My only complaint is that there’s isn’t a new game plus option where you could try to do all the stuff again with all the mods. Other than that it’s peak
@@deadlan2424 oh really? I haven’t done all the stuff yet and I’ve seen my brother play the game before and I didn’t realize that. Thanks for letting me know!
I've beaten this game on the base PS4, and it ran like crap sometimes, but it was definitely fun and beautiful to look at. Great game that took some good 50 hours total.
This sums up all the fun I had with JC3 when I first got my PC. I think I should replay it some day, specially after being extremely disappointed with JC4. Haven't even finished it. Also, is that the JBL Quantum thing on your sound?
No I don't use JBL headphones. BTW, it's funny you mention that game because I actually have a video on Just Cause 4 as well: th-cam.com/video/tPcohFng8Jg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Wjk3pHOqWcCizX-Y
The Eden Spark is op tho, so it is not as fun to use it. Also what about the nuke launcher. Also also you can hold triangle to go staight to the cargo hold in the plane.

With the Black Hand prison camps you don't just need destroy all the military infrastucture, but you also need to free every inmate(by walking up to each cell and pressing the interact key to open them up), hacking 2 terminals in order to free the ringleader(When you had to free inmates at the police stations you only had to hack into 1 terminal to free 1 inmate and there were really only 1 - 2 inmates you needed to free), make sure the ringleader doesn't die and hold down the fort for around 20 - 40 - 50 seconds (this really tedious when compaired to the other outposts and bases you liberate in this DLC).

i'd say the only thing i was REALLY disappointed by JC3 is the map.....i actually feel medici is a massive downgrade in terms of variety compared to 2 and 2 handled long distances views a hell of a lot better without having to fog up the distance, you could see from one side to the other really clearly while 3 has to hide it behind a blue fog covering up the beautyand some terrible long distance textures....also i really miss being able to dual weild a revolver in one hand and a sawed off shotgun in the other, bad idea cutting that from the game
I haven't played a single jc game I don't anything about it which game you recommd like jc 2 or jc 3
JC 3
JC 3 is honestly the peak of the series IMO, Idk why they goofed so hard with JC 4 when all they had to do was to follow everything they did with JC 3 and keep the interesting stuff like the extreme weather.
Yeah, truly baffling.
I’ve been playing this game since I was 6 by *myself*
i love this game sooooo much i cant wait for jc5
I don't think it's ready to come out
like dead rising 5
I personally enjoy this game more than RDR2, because it makes me feel free in the air with a huge world
Purely in terms of gameplay, Just Cause 3 is definitely way more fun than RDR2.
I wake up praying for a remake with better multiplayer, more weapons and maybe a second campaign
Really this is the best just cause game....the best ...I started playing 2nd time....music too awesome
Very vibey.
Where did the it's all about the vibe clip from?
It's from Ranton's review of Days Gone
If you play on PS5 or Xbox Sirius X you have no more frame rate issues it's steady and it never drops I always like three more of the thing I hated about four is they got rid of handguns and they also the way you unlock stuff we have to clear territories the only look like one thing is so dumb
I hated how they removed the g 64 explosives and handguns. I loved both.
I remember I had tried liberating a military base in the mountain region and they would shoot nukes at you. And I glitched the game to where it would still shoot nukes at me even if I liberated the area
It's not a glitch.
Not a glitch you need to do a quest first
You have to destroy something in main quest so that they will stop nuking you
I actaully enjoy the story even if mario carries it the story has some good missons
It's absolutely crazy what a downgrade JC4 is compared to JC3.
About the main fortresses. I finished them even though not doing a mission in JC3. The one on the mountains was hard but I did it twice now :) The funny thing is that the rebels are there but the missile system still wants to shoot you down.
I'm still disappointed that urga fura can't hold 12 rebels
I don't even use guns. The grapplers are too overpowered powerful enough to move tanks and helicopters.
My only complaint is that there’s isn’t a new game plus option where you could try to do all the stuff again with all the mods. Other than that it’s peak
You can reopress settlements and military bases after you beat the main story so you can reliberate them as many times as you desire
@@deadlan2424 oh really? I haven’t done all the stuff yet and I’ve seen my brother play the game before and I didn’t realize that. Thanks for letting me know!
@@deadlan2424new complaint, you have to fast travel to re-oppress the areas one at a time, lemme just re oppress an entire province!
Even though the game lags on my pc i still play it everyday my fav
Now that's dedication 🤝
I've beaten this game on the base PS4, and it ran like crap sometimes, but it was definitely fun and beautiful to look at. Great game that took some good 50 hours total.
yeah i hate how high reel to reel is to unlock
I shot a gas station with a tank.
This is the best game ever made
Haha, should try shooting it with the nuke you get later in the game.
Most favorite game in this franchise
Hell yes!
Ah as you can tell by my pfp i LOVE just cause 3
Don't forget to tell Edan Airship
The Eden Spark is op tho, so it is not as fun to use it. Also what about the nuke launcher. Also also you can hold triangle to go staight to the cargo hold in the plane.
