    The safety and walking/biking paths are the main reasons we chose to retire in Iloilo, thanks for showcasing.

    Jaro plaza is also being renovated and the best part is the old houses around it being restored and turned into museum/restaurant giving you ancient charm overlooking the majestic jaro church and belfry

    Please visit also the Jaro Cathedral and the Jaro Plaza with the Jaro Belfry (Campanario de Jaro). Visit these during the daytime, and also at night when lights flood the vicinity and the Plaza with the magnificent Campanario de Jaro. Then eat a hearty dinner at Cafe Año 1927.

    That colorful Pedestrian Bridge (6:00) is actually painted with the traditional games of childhood. Look for your favorite childhood games, they are painted ob the bridge floor - Pikò, Tumba preso, etc. you csb actually play Pikò on the painted floor markings.

      Yes I was so psyched when I noticed it, but I did not have time to film it already. So, I just shot some photos for memorabilia 😉

  • @litoyvillagracia799

    By the way if u want to cross safely there is an underpass just below the bridge but sadly during hightide sometime water comes in at the highest peak. But still its functional anayway👍💪

    over there, across a narrow street, is another esplanade or pavement brick road being built. you are correct, that is Zumba, there is a morning and evening zumba activity session

    • @02traveltv
      @02traveltv  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Wow! I was also told by the hotel staff that the government will be extending the esplanade far more than what the city has now, so it's a nice one to the LGU. And is the Zumba free? Who is paying for it?

    • @pcsixty6
      @pcsixty6 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@02traveltv the zumba is not free, the participants each pay a certain amount.

      @@02traveltv Yes, that is Dungon Creek Esplanade. Half of it is already completed. It is a long esplanade from Gaisano to the back of Central Philippine University. Another new esplanade is built on Iloilo Sunset Boulevard. It is an extension of Molo Esplanade 1. Thank you for visiting Iloilo City.

    Bro, at 2:10 The arched trellis you walked under has GRAPES on it. THE last time i was there the grapes were visible and grown. People were taking pictures, some were being naughty and tried reaching for the grapes hence the tall arch trellis. 😂😂.. Only in ILOILO city where there are grapes LITERALLY on the road
