Check out old churches here and the different Plazas. We tried to preserve our heritage. And don't forget to try our local food and batchoy, just let them know that you don't eat pork. They will offer you beef batchoy. And our seafoods. Enjoy you stay in Iloilo.

Ahh in Calle Real u could have gone backwards toward the City Hall area. We have two museums just close to each other. The Philippine Museum of Maritime History and the Museum of Economic history. Iloilo City is a city of museums quite unbeknowst to some. after visiting them just cut ur way through a walk in esplanade in muelle loney and maybe go back the night barbeque stand in sunburst park.

From the pier to Avida is around 5km through the city and will take you more than 30 minutes using a trike..
