I use 2 of the dollar tree soda clear boxes. Savory spices in one. Sweet baking spices in another. Pull out the whole box and then return. I can fit 10-12 spices per box. 😉

I love how nothing is in front of something else. That sounds weird but you can see everything you have in your pantry. It looks so nice!! Thank you for sharing
I only have canned goods for specific recipes (and soup cans) so, for instance, I have a chili bin that holds those cans and that works awesome! When I want chili I just pull down the bin and I don't have to hunt for those ingredients. I use 2x4's to create a custom tiered shelf for soup. I found the plastic ones aren't deep with for the cans. I cover the wood with contact paper.
I actually use the same baskets and I use they’d foam stickers and DIY my own labels for them it could work just would have to put the label on a blank paper surface and stick it To the basket

A good tip to take off old or anything with heavily adhesive is Goo Gone it probably cost about $7. 00 witch is not cheep but a little goes a long way! It has a cheerful aroma of oranges, or you could use Dawn dish soap and hot water.
for your canned beans you should buy a tiny shoe rack or just of your choice and but it inside and if it doesn’t fit you can put the juice box in there too?!!

This is great inspiration. I organized my pantry last year, the kids (including the hubs) can’t seem to keep things where they go. So it is definitely time to re-organize my small pantry. I bought some containers through Amazon and they were pretty expensive. Thanks for the advice about buying containers at Dollar Tree. I took a break from your video to fill up my containers. They looks nice and neat. I'm moving in about 3 weeks and want to start out in my new house with an organized pantry.
I have two suggestions that may help you. Amazon sells a pantry can holder that holds I think 18 cans and it’s really sturdy. It helps to be able to see exactly what you have with out digging. Also I would recommend putting your spices in a kitchen drawer that would free up a lot of space for you. Ok I have one more recommendation (sorry) why not use your small regular pantry for you pots and pans and the one where you have your pots just for food. That way it is by the selfs with food and all will be together. Great video. I think we all struggle in our own homes bc we think where we put it first it should stay. I know I struggle a lot with that. I usually have a friend c9me in with a clean unbiased eye to help give me ideas.

I love the Dollar Tree bins.. I use them all throughout my home.. Your "pantry" turned out great. I dont have a pantry so all my food needs to go in my cabinets and it's a pain.. I try to keep it organized but sometimes it gets out of hand.
Great video! It really inspired me to clean out my pantry. Maybe a stackable can rack would help with your canned goods so that you can see them. They sell them online and in stores (amazon, target, bed bath & beyond). Love your channel!

Hi there Amy! I’m watching from Eagle Mountain, UT. I get the feeling you are from the South because of your sweet accent,( lived in GA for 12 years but a native Californian. My, “pantry” is actually a very tall, deep cabinet about a foot wide, at least 18 inches deep with just about a foot between each shelf that are not adjustable and it’s a brand new rental. The pantry is always disorganized!
Wow Im single and i got like 5 baskets full of cans in the dining room on top of table. The reason u have so much trouble w cans is that they need their own shelf. Youve seen where people tier them, but that can waste space. So at dollar store and online they have roller can storage. And dollar tree hack is Magazine file holder turned on its back. Cans need there own shelf. So 4 of those. 1 for soups, beans, one for vegetables, one for tomato sauces. And one for fruit. Larger cans stand alone. I stack my shelf in that order, but i have 2 shelves. The top is at eye level and is cooking. Pasta sauces on one side and tomato and chile sauces on the other with my 2 trays of spices in middle and another row of olive oils avo oil balsalmic vinegar red wine vinegar AC vinegar. I am going to put my oils n vinegars in a clear narrow refridgerator tray that has a hole grip so i can slide those out use at stove or counter for salad and then return to tray and slide back. On next shelf I have soups on one side with liquid box soups 2 rows then 1 row of vegetables mixed, peas, carrots, green beans pinto beans refried, pickles relish ketchup mustard mayo not in fridge. i can stack 3 high, a thin narrow cabinet eye level to floor. Then 4rth row is fruit and canned pie mix apple cherry pumpkin puree, cranberry sauce. Next shelf is baking, Flour salt corn meal pancake mix corn starch baking soda jello, canned frostings evaporated milk and sweet condensed milk, cocoa, chocolate, cake and quick bread mixes, my cookies, fig newtons and granola, power bars. On the bottom shelf i want to be big cans of tomato and water bottles and coconut waters and perrier waters small 6 packs of V8, soda water and chips. Chips go upstairs to my room now lol. But i have crammed i dont know what down there and i have my water bottlez in the same basket you put ur cans in lol, out side the pantry, on floor in dining room. I needed one more shelf for pastas. i have pastas in 3 baskets on dining table and a small square w sauces mixes packets. I put the open pastas on top shelf on top of cans about 4 different zip lock bags and 1 spaget and 1 lasagna box. Renting room. We keep all our cereals out on top of fridge. I love to cook. I want to use what i have and shrink down more since i now have changed to low carb diet. I still love to cook for other people. Most of what I have is becuz i cooked for friends all the time where i used to live.
Ok....I'm just so exhausted watching this! Something I plan to do with my pantry is measure each shelf before I buy the bins, baskets and whatever. I have a reasonably sized pantry but, there's wasted space that isn't being utilized. I LOVE the labels you got on Amazon!

How about a small 2 or 3 cube shelf from dollar general on the bottom of closet to put cans? That way it is easy to stand them on the shelving and can organize fruit, veggies, soups

Organize spices by how you cook. Salt Pepper Garlic Garki Salt Onion Powder in front, then types of foods cooked. American seasoning, bbq, Southern, English, Irish/British, Italian seasoing, Asian seasoning, Mexican seasoming East Indian, Mediterrean, Middle Eastern. Maybe in their own narrow trays. I have them and when i make Sphagetti, i pull out the tray use next to stove then slide it back in.It also has a handle in front.

Organic sweet potato but pantry is nothing but unhealthy snacks and other with chemicals. I hope there are veggies in refrigerator. You look like a sweet person and I like the organizing aspect of video but darlin, you need to stop feeding your family poisons. With the internet you can look up ingredients and learn how bad they are. Watch videos by Bobby from flavcity...you will learn alot about nutrition and what food choices to make. I only wish I had internet when my kids were young! Great video!!!

I feel like breakfast items and cereals should be next to each other. Snacks and individual chips should be next to each other. And you should have your canned goods stacked so you know what you have on hand by just glancing without digging.

For the baskets with holes you can use rope/string and tie a tag in one of the holes ( hope that makes sense ). That way you can label it.

My, “pantry” is actually a very tall, deep cabinet about a foot wide, at least 18 inches deep with just about a foot between each shelf that are not adjustable and it’s a brand new rental. The pantry is always disorganized!
Wow Im single and i got like 5 baskets full of cans in the dining room on top of table. The reason u have so much trouble w cans is that they need their own shelf. Youve seen where people tier them, but that can waste space. So at dollar store and online they have roller can storage. And dollar tree hack is Magazine file holder turned on its back. Cans need there own shelf. So 4 of those. 1 for soups, beans, one for vegetables, one for tomato sauces. And one for fruit. Larger cans stand alone. I stack my shelf in that order, but i have 2 shelves. The top is at eye level and is cooking. Pasta sauces on one side and tomato and chile sauces on the other with my 2 trays of spices in middle and another row of olive oils avo oil balsalmic vinegar red wine vinegar AC vinegar. I am going to put my oils n vinegars in a clear narrow refridgerator tray that has a hole grip so i can slide those out use at stove or counter for salad and then return to tray and slide back. On next shelf I have soups on one side with liquid box soups 2 rows then 1 row of vegetables mixed, peas, carrots, green beans pinto beans refried, pickles relish ketchup mustard mayo not in fridge. i can stack 3 high, a thin narrow cabinet eye level to floor. Then 4rth row is fruit and canned pie mix apple cherry pumpkin puree, cranberry sauce. Next shelf is baking, Flour salt corn meal pancake mix corn starch baking soda jello, canned frostings evaporated milk and sweet condensed milk, cocoa, chocolate, cake and quick bread mixes, my cookies, fig newtons and granola, power bars. On the bottom shelf i want to be big cans of tomato and water bottles and coconut waters and perrier waters small 6 packs of V8, soda water and chips. Chips go upstairs to my room now lol. But i have crammed i dont know what down there and i have my water bottlez in the same basket you put ur cans in lol, out side the pantry, on floor in dining room. I needed one more shelf for pastas. i have pastas in 3 baskets on dining table and a small square w sauces mixes packets. I put the open pastas on top shelf on top of cans about 4 different zip lock bags and 1 spaget and 1 lasagna box. Renting room. We keep all our cereals out on top of fridge. I love to cook. I want to use what i have and shrink down more since i now have changed to low carb diet. I still love to cook for other people. Most of what I have is becuz i cooked for friends all the time where i used to live.

Ok....I'm just so exhausted watching this! Something I plan to do with my pantry is measure each shelf before I buy the bins, baskets and whatever. I have a reasonably sized pantry but, there's wasted space that isn't being utilized. I LOVE the labels you got on Amazon!

How about a small 2 or 3 cube shelf from dollar general on the bottom of closet to put cans? That way it is easy to stand them on the shelving and can organize fruit, veggies, soups

Organize spices by how you cook. Salt Pepper Garlic Garki Salt Onion Powder in front, then types of foods cooked. American seasoning, bbq, Southern, English, Irish/British, Italian seasoing, Asian seasoning, Mexican seasoming East Indian, Mediterrean, Middle Eastern. Maybe in their own narrow trays. I have them and when i make Sphagetti, i pull out the tray use next to stove then slide it back in.It also has a handle in front.

I moved to this rental (Hope Mills NC) around 3 years ago and not only is my pantry out of whack, my whole house is in a horrible near hoarder mess lol. We are currently in the Covid-19 Pandemic in early June 2020. So I will be hopefully getting it in shape.

Organic sweet potato but pantry is nothing but unhealthy snacks and other with chemicals. I hope there are veggies in refrigerator. You look like a sweet person and I like the organizing aspect of video but darlin, you need to stop feeding your family poisons. With the internet you can look up ingredients and learn how bad they are. Watch videos by Bobby from flavcity...you will learn alot about nutrition and what food choices to make. I only wish I had internet when my kids were young! Great video!!!

I'm just confused how you organize, it looks like you are just organizing by container. I'm sorry I don't mean to be a hater, I do like the theory, but some stuff is so very random how you organized. I guess that's what makes us all different, how our minds work. Its what all works for you anyway right. And you should have your canned goods stacked so you know what you have on hand by just glancing without digging.
