    I love your videos Jon but if ever there was an unnecessary invention this is it! Pouring 40ml of anything into a small measuring cup versus screwing this onto a bottle (after you've found one that it actually fits of course!), then setting the volume thingy, then squeezing the bottle (IF it's even squeezable!), then pouring it out, after which you have to clean it to prevent cross contamination from other products unless you have one for each bottle (except the ones that it won't fit of course!), at £5+ each, it's a no brainer mate! Just use a flipping plastic measure cup and chuck it in the wash! Are you sure you've not got lockdown fever Jon! 🤪

      SteveRabbits, exactly what I thought. In the video you can see product left in the pipe and measure cup. Good idea but flawed

    I got a few of these a couple years ago specifically for my ONR bottles. They are great! They do make ones for larger bottles.

    I measured out some ONR earlier for a 256:1 mix to clean some dust off my roof before going in with clay and Gyeon Prep. My method?
    Well, i have a dozen 50ml sample bottles so i filled one with ONR and poured just over half the bottle (30ml) into 7 or 8 litres of water in a bucket. The remaining 20ml will be dumped into a litre bottle of water to make more dirt cheap clay lube.
    That little contraption is funky, but it looks fiddly and you'll constantly be rinsing it out. I have about 7 different shampoos pre measured and ready to go in my 50ml sample bottles. Glossworks, Adams, Autobrite Banana gloss etc. I love my sample bottles - no need to wash them out. Just refill with the same product when empty. They're handy for measuring out Angelwax Clarity screenwash too. 17:1 dilution at this time of year, so again 50ml per litre (or near enough).

    0:57 "The way I always remember it is..." [checks notes to see how he always remembers it...] 😉 Thanks, Jon. Looks interesting. I'm struggling with cleaning my car atm as it's the equivalent of putting a tux on only to sit in your living room. Still... sandy dust blowing about, bird s**t and the odd cat sitting on the bonnet makes for an [exciting] change from cleaning the wheel arches of mud and removing bug splatter (the trip to Aldi is only a two-mile round trip, after all). Cheers, fella! 👍

    @T.Mitcbree 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Lol 😂 only 36 ml went in the rest is still in contraption
    Go with the £0.50 plastic measuring cup and rinse clean in bucket. Spend your hard earned on product not novelty crap that is good for one bottle or too time consuming switching.
    I've heard the thicker shampoos can be difficult.

    All of my products I buy by the gallon. ONR, Super Clean, my APC, CarPro Inside, Adam's Mega Foam, Bead Maker, Brake Buster, Lube, Bug, etc. Amazon has pump heads that screw directly on top of the gallon jugs and each pump is exactly 1 oz.. Makes it extremely easy.

    I'm sure everyone has figured this out, but this is a TOLCO product, and they make 2 different sizes, one for the smaller size bottles and 1 for gallon sizes.

    I'll stick to my little measuring cups but at least you don't need to worry about spilling anything with these.
    If I didn't have pouring spouts (from old 5L windscreen wash bottles) for my 5L jugs I'd likely see the benefit of something like this more 😅

    • @AndyK.1

      Brian Woods What 5l sw has pouring spout. Serious Q

    • @BrianW1612

      It was just generic screenwash from the supermarket. Comes with these little black spouts which are perfect for most 5L. You also get the pouring spouts with adblue also which again are perfect.

    Totally off the subject but do you see yourself doing a direct comparison of Carpro Reload vs Gyeon Wetcoat? I'm torn between the two to go with Carpro Reset as my maintenance shampoo.

    Talking of ONR though mate, what do you think of their Optimum No Rinse Wash and Wax Rinseless Car Wash with Carnauba Wax?

    • @forensicunplugged4295
      @forensicunplugged4295  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I dont want ONR to leave anything behind. I want like a pure cleaner lubricant.. you need to have a think about how you use ONR. so I clean glass with it sometimes. I dont want wax on my glass. I clean my engine bay with it.. I wipe interior components down with it sometimes like door cars and handles, I dont want wax on those components. I dont want wax in my engine bay or clogging my trim coatings etc.. So use ONR wash and wax if you want to add gloss to things when you clean them basically.

    If that is proced at £10 or eat my own shit. It's an already used equipment in other areas. Not it's a detailing " tool " I suspect the price will be much more inflated. £10 is your suggestion because you have a good idea what is reasonable.

    Not that useful really, too many negatives and how does it fair with thicker liquids, ease of cleaning out etc, these need to be £2 to £3 max and have one of these permanently attached to your bottles that you are using that need mixing. too expensive for me at £5.95 and a little measuring cup for me has more positives
