    Finally got my car coated with mohs evo and it’s amazing , easy to apply and when I come back next day the gloss level had increased after 12 hours or so, amazing heading and anyone can apply it without any issues

    If you are interested in trying a new rinseless wash, P&S recently released one. Slicker than ONR but still polymer based. Sounds like a great product from what I’ve seen so far.

      The P&S rinseless wash looks exciting. I recommend people giving Bouncer's Wax RCD a try. It's super versatile, sleek and inexpensive. Same dilution as ONR and works out at £5/litre in the 5 Litre option using the code BYE.

    Agree the Rupes abrasives and pads are 5 star 👌. I do have an APC (Greenstar) but other than engine bays I don’t really use it…? For interior ? - I use dedicated cleaner. For wheels?- I use a dedicated cleaner….not sure why we need them so much but maybe just me.
    YumDetailer and YumDress are worth checking out - lovely, glossy and good value.

    I’ve been recommending scholl concepts to people for years. I have both s20 and s40. I’ve just bought their W6 coatwax to try out. I originally bought the scholl products because you can use them in direct sunlight. They just don’t dry out

    Jon, for the detailers living in states, I chose products that are made in the US (when possible) and are most reasonably priced products. In the States, best & most reasonable priced APC is Super Clean, about $22.00 (US) for 2.5 gallons. Best & most reasonable priced pH neutral Shampoo comes from 3D One, Nano Pale, about $40.00 for 5 gallons (dilutable). I like the Work Stuff brushes, last forever. Drying towels, I use air, so mude point for me. Tar removal, I use Goo Gone Pro. It is reasonable priced about $10.00 for Qt. Fallout remover (chemical Decon.) I use Adams for about $40.00 per gallon. I use a clay towel when washing, so I kill two steps in one. Panel prep, I use 91% ISP mixed about 20% IPA-80% distilled water. For compound/polish I use 3D One. Sealants, I will use TW Seal "N Shine, or Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax, or Pro Wax Synergy Ceramic Detailer, or Adams Advanced Graphene/Ceramic Spray Wax, depends on the coating? I like to use the pads from Lake Country or the Euro 50/50. All in one, I will use 3D HD Speed. Metal polish I use Mother's with the wadding clothes from Eagle. Tire protection I like Optimum Tire Gel, for me works better than Car Pro Peryl. Next, for tire shine, when my Optimum Tire Gel runs out, I will use from Pro Wax, Blue Ice, about $29.00 per gallon. When choosing products, try to find that work, reasonable priced and easily available in your market!. Jon, thanks for your list!

    03.45 Maestro, take apart that plastic red and black part from the MJCC and put silicone grease inside where they join so that the friction is reduced and they can be rotated separately. Greeting!😉

      I want to lock the axel rotation but really

    • @duhsasekirom5471
      @duhsasekirom5471 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ForensicDetailing I don't know if you disassembled the MJCC, but first you have to remove that metal pin that goes through the red plastic part. When you have removed the pin, you can remove the red and black plastic part together from the rest of the foam lance. You will now see an o-ring on the foam lance and carefully remove it and wipe off all the grease on it and on the groove from where you took it out and also in the inner part of the red plastic, so that later it will be more difficult to turn when you turn the front black plastic part with which you change the angle foam spray width. After this very, very carefully separate the red and black plastic part (so that you don't break those two tabs on the black plastic part) and put silicone grease on the joint between them. When you put everything back together it should work properly with one hand, and the foam spray angle and horizontal-vertical axis depending on which part you want to adjust.
      I would like to ask you a few questions about car detailing, because I see that you have a lot of knowledge and experience in this field, but first let me help you solve your problem.

    Jon for spray/rinse wax's, TW Dry & Shine still available, usually get it for £7-8 in local stores. Best results these days are from Bouncer's Bead Juice or IW Express Sealant. Wet Coat just cost too much compared to those. AM Details are testing a spray/rinse wax too. IW Rapid Detailer also very good, cost effective and a fine drying aid, I also use AM Hybrid Detailer as drying aid and final buff after waxing (IW SuperGloss+ Spray Wax). Glass protection has to be AM Rain or IW Diamond Vision, for good price and protection duration (my car is outside 24x7x365). Tyre protection, i used to use PERL diluted 50/50 or Gyeon Q2 Tyre Gel (messy), but now only use IW Tyre Coat.

    I liked Wet Coat on first use, but now in a hose pipe ban so no more pressure washer washes for a while (I’m using N914 on your recommendation). Is there a ‘dry’ spray on equivalent? Or is it just the choice between a QD like Ceramic Detailer (spray on) or using a ‘proper’ ceramic (not spray on) like Can Coat?

  • @79blustone
    @79blustone 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A quick personal recommendation is Carpro inner QD. For the interior of the car is really nice to use on something not too soiled. It has a dust repelling feature and slick feeling behind but also leaving the finish look like how it should be from the factory. Also, definitely use this on your phone as it cleans it extremely well and makes the screen feel amazing and slick afterwards. It's like a slick ceramic feel that lasts for ages! Best thing I've used! Especially noticeable on my phone 😆

    The guy below pipped me to the post, with P&S Absolute waterless wash/ rinseless wash eitherway. I'm using Carpro ECH20 which is working well- I go over it afterwards with Griot's Garage 3 in 1 for extra pop. But I've heard Absolute has the same encapsulation methods used in N914 and the new version of ONR but Absolute leaves a nice slick-to-touch film afterwards which sounds amazing. So, when ECH20 runs out, I'll grab a bottle to try. I also completely agree on Jon's choices of products, I'm firmly up there with Bilt Hamber (clearly) and I just cannot fault it. I used a bit of Gyeon and Carpro but I like how Bilt Hamber works. I will say that Gyeon wet coat seems to leave a filmy marks behind on the paint work even after towel drying, so I then have to go over it to get that glossy finish afterwards with Griot's with easily removes this. What am I doing wrong? Or is it just wet coat? Can coat is a great product and use it on all the plastics, side glass, rubber trims, wiper arms and wiper panel as the rest of the car is coated with Capro CQuartz UK 3.0 x2 layers with 2 layers of Capro S.I.C for extra gloss, pop and slickness not to mention giving you more durability combined then each on their own. Great video and happy to see a lot of my products I still currently use is being used by someone very professional 😊 👍

    Jon, do you think Gyeon messed up with the MOHS packaging & it was meant to be called SHOW?
    I'm thinking when it was sent to the production team they read it upside down & when it eventually came back all printed off the team said 'Well, it's all done now, let's call it MOHS!'
    🤣

      MOHS is like the hardness scale that they use loosly for determining the coating hardness. so I think it was a play on this.

    The 'British' ICE Seal & Shine (Sealant Hydrophobic Wax) from Turtle Wax is exactly the same formula.

      sealant hydrophobic wax is replaced with updated Seal and Shine UK version. Its not the same as the USA version of ICE seal and shine which I show in this video. And I also think the one I show in this video is not the latest US version either. I compare the 3 soon on the channel.
