HM is Honda Motors. Came in a tool roll for older cars and motorcycles... I have both sets from my dad's 72 CB350 and 81 Civic.
Thanks for the info!
The blue linesman are Kleain. Armstrong is a industrial brand. That is the best model Gerber multi tool ever made.
Thanks for your knowledge Scott! You know your tools!
Lincoln Electric-Acetylene torch tip cleaners.
Armstrong was a high end brand and still is, they just arent as well known as they used to be, the open end long wrench is a tappet wrench for doing valve work
Thank you very much! They feel like really sturdy tools.
It was like the original owner had a different brand for each socket. 🤣
I can help fill the gaps in different peoples’ collections 😅
The craftsman wrenches with the half moon notch allows the open end to act similar to a ratchet function without the ratchet.
Kmart used to sell Popular Mechanics tools a long time ago. The pointy wood handled object is an ice pick, and the tool that you described as "possibly some kind of reamer tool" is a spring compressor used in working on drum brakes.
Thanks Richard. Your knowledge is invaluable. Any thoughts on the quality of popular mechanics?
@@learnsavediy I have had a 3/8" drive set of sockets and ratchet for over 20 years. the sockets are pretty good quality, but make sure to do regular maintenance on the ratchet.
@@learnsavediy DIY quality.
Good stuff.
I was very happy with it!
The large channel locks are a great tool ! Love mine.
Yellow handled is a wrench that can be used on multiple size nuts/bolts.
Some more neat finds!
I love shopping second hand! Lots of cool finds indeed
12:04- “10mm no-exist-ium after you buy-ium”. 😂
I'm amazed that you went through that whole lot and didn't find a crescent which was probably the most common tool of the time. I would hold onto the craftsman USA screwdrivers because one day I believe they'll be sought after. The black one, by the way, is a craftsman pro. The vise grips are the best find in my opinion. The Klein tools are good. The small needle nose pliers are good. The first precision tool you pulled out of the bag is good. Wagner is a home Depot name brand, and that's a good gun. I have a lot of tools so these are what I would keep.
Thanks for your thoughts. I do like my craftsman stuff so I try to hold onto it. Yeah it’s surprising the things you find in these lots and sometimes you make out like a bandit while other times, not so much.
The Lincoln electric tool is a welding tip cleaner index for where the wire feeds out. Works well also for any sort of small hole cleaner-outer. 👍
This ^^^ Yup paint guns, welding tips, Carburators.
Torch tip cleaner set.
Not one harbor freight tool in that batch, very nice tools, titan is a tool company on it's on, see alot of it in auto parts stores, Wagner is big into the painting line of things sold all over in many different stores, good stuff man
Thanks! I was pretty excited for this batch especially given the quality
Red handled tool @ 17:50 is for scoring and breaking ceramic tile.
Thank you!!!
The blue channel lock linesmen pliers are their high leverage linesmen. They allow you to press down on the 90° portion and not put pressure on your fingers. Also a longer handle with special pivot for more leverage.
Thanks!
Tile cutter
You score and snap
Thanks!
Power Kraft was Mongomery Wards
Thanks!
Powerkraft was JC Penney brand.
Opps! Powerkraft was Montogomery Ward. Penncraft was JC Penney tool line.
@@fcatusha Thank you!
NICE ICE PICK.....NOT AN AWL.
Thank you for the correction.
