nice score!!!...those unknown sockets with the round hole in the center are garbage...just throw them away in case you accidentally try and use one...the will split wrecking your fastener, part, and hands.

Hello my husband passed away in 2015 of lung cancer he was a printer and worked for Reynolds Metals for over 30 years Alcoa had bought them out a few years ago he worked in the Bellwood printing in Richmond Virginia. He worked there for altogether over 38 years. When he passed away, he left a large collection of craftsman tools and toolboxes I’m 72 years old and disabled. I’ve been trying to find someone since I moved back to my hometown in North Carolina to be near my family to help me to be able to sell some of his tools, the landlord that I’m renting from since I sold our home in Virginia and moved back has passed away, his widow is wanting to sell the property so now I have to move by April of this year 2024 and I don’t know how to begin to get help in pricing and being able to sell the toolboxes the tools all the wood tools because we build our houseand so now if you can help me, please let me know in the comments below how to reach you or anyone that might be able to help. Thank you so much. God bless you.

The T-40 torx socket without the bit is basically a 1/4 inch socket. Regular bits can fit in it, but you have to be careful not to lose them while you're working. The bits WILL come out of the socket, but it's a good substitute for a torx socket

The big nut with the side cut out could be a thread cleaner.

The dog bone wrench you found with all the different cut outs is for air lines and gas lines on welding tanks and oxy tanks etc the “solder tool” you found is a grease gun attachment the aluminum “ball joint tools” are bearing and race drivers. Looks like a old stack on box but not 100% sure the tools Look like a lot of junk but the side box and accessories made the deal the guy definitely didn’t take care of stuff nice find earned a follower

Thanks Anthony. I ended up finding the craftsman logo so all the boxes are craftsman. I thought it was a pretty neat find. Just needed some cleaning and sorting

Where in NC are you located? I might be interested in making you an offer on everything' I also have several mechanics friends who would probably be interested.

Sparta tools were manufactured by New Britain Machine Company in New Britain Ct. The wrenches with the bent cylindrical handles are distributor wrenches. The flat stamped sheet metal tool with the notch is a door and window handle clip remover.

The large pin with the notch is a king pin. That is not a solder iron, it's an attachment for a grease gun
