After playing this game for more than 1090 days, I admit that I have done many mistakes when it comes to Gears.
Now that I feel a bit wise when it comes to what to do and what do not, I do advise those who ask me: DO NOT waste your time on USELESS gears unless you have a real bank and don't care neither about your time nor your money.
Yes, this game will give you many options but you must learn from those who have done many mistakes and will give you the best advice from their real long experience.

If NEW players learn the above equation and know for sure what does it mean, they will definitely stop wasting their time and money (in case P2P) over useless gears.
By [useless], I don't mean bad but then again, you don't have a real bank in real life, do you?
The advice which has been offered in this video is indeed valuable.
Funny enough, my [Frostwing Greatsword] is not even Gold yet, thanks to IGG drop rate!
Also, one more thing to do:
For new player: please DO NOT go for Mythic.
I have seen tons of people are wasting their time on upgrading their very basic gears to Mythic. Why are you doing that? you will need that later, believe it or not!

Hey aeva would be appreciated if you make a detailed breakdown vid on wonder battle formations i.e 442-424-974-208-505- and more like what hero's what fams and what % of stats/ gear is sufficient for these comps and what we should send or hold on any x comp..(can't see any reference or vid on this topic in yt)
Aeva also leaves out the Astralite upgrades which would make the main hand equal to the champ piece which would save thousands of $$$$.
As a F2P player, I've been a fan of the skullcrusher for a while and promoting it over th frostwing GS
There is one exception to the crusher being better than the frostwing sword only at the same level: a blue crusher beats a purple sword by just a couple of points overall (and at that level both are better than the tomahawk).
Gold Skullcrusher is better than mythic frostwing greatsword by 1,5% and it doesnt require embers
Nice video Av! Good advice indeed for starters but also for older players. Dont waste the ultra rare items on bad gear.
On a sidenote, i am f2p with over 2000 consecutive logins and i never dropped a gold frostwing heart -_- So i have 2 purple cups which i am fairly proud of, and still a purple frostwing sword lol.
Quick question, your camera is most of the time right on the location of the items you are showing, is it possible to put that maybe in the bottom right corner? :)
I'd rather pick edge over blade since edge is more usefull you can also use for mix, altough it's not the best option for mix, it's the best for cavalry and great for 424, making champion blade will be hardly usefull for wonders, nowadays its hard finding good kingdom for wonders if you don't spend heavily and also is not a big deal for inf or range blast, being just a bit better than terror lash and wyrm rod respectivaly
hey aevatrex, i compared between mythic frostwing greatsword vs gold skullkrusher but the skullkrusher is still better than frostwing. frostwing one gives you 73.5% atk when skullkrusher gives you 75% atk+ some def. then how frostwing is better?
Easier to make and u don't need hearts for anything else. But skullcrusher mat can be used for others

Skullcrusher to gold is also CHEAPER to make compared to mythic frostwing sword.

Lol, they make mistake. I lost my interest in LM after i got zeroed. You will get hurt when you see in one morning that you got zeroed. So i decided to quiet it. There are so many games without it to play

Same here. This week I've hit lv1 frostwing 200+ times, killed 10 lv2 frostwing, killed 5 lv5 frostwing and got 0 hearts.
hearts are easy if you get many boxes. for f2p getting it gold is almost as hard as getting bumbble helm gold becaise you can get rares from tycoon

ould just to like to disagree with what avea said about the krakens anchor. yes it uses pearls BUT the storm tassets are actually more expensive than the champion inf boots, im close to getting my champ inf boots to gold so i dont the tassets and because the standard cav set uses alot of garg eyes i decided to build the krakens anchor as cav main hand because for me it was easier and cheap

Gold skullcrusher is MINIMALLY worse but a lot CHEAPER to make than mythic frostwing. Sword is trash.
That really depends but frostwing sword is much much cheaper than skullcrusher, in every which way, from drop rate to the amount needed, trust me I built both when I needed both, and from experience can tell u mythic skullcrusher is FAR more expensive
@@Aevatrex everyone says frostwing is cheaper, yet me and many colleagues finished gold skullcrusher well before mythic frostwing. Yet I am 2/8 to mythic skull while I could finally make sword :)))
Frostwing using embers is what changes the dynamics to make it even worse.
If you compare drop rates on hearts and brains vs amounts needed for each stage they come close.
If you factor events like extravaganza having brains and no hearts so far - skull is cheaper.
@@mikefue9597 I'll have to disagree then, the embers you're talking about is not like it's that many either... maybe now it's been made easier than before through different packs and things but I would never say skullcrusher is cheaper, never that
Hearts are 6% drop rate
Brains are 5.5%,
Skullcrusher needs 4 extra mats on each stage up to purple and same amount gold as frostwing (8gold to myth). BUT NO EMBERS.
Brains were available at every extravaganza. It made a huge shift in favor.
The lack of embers necessary is what makes an overal price of that piece much lower than sword.
As almost f2p I can have a second BIS mix piece to mythic without ever buying embers.
@@Aevatrex a low spender would have to burn a lot cash to get those embers for sword, and this money would be much better spend elsewhere.
