What you said is absolutelly not true. The reason why you burn in the first rally is not the wall. if you test two attacks with the wall up and down, specially with a low HP wall, you will see the timing on the troops clashing is the same. We tested that on our channel live with WolfBazil and LDS members several times. The major reason why you burned is because you used range phal, which is a bad scenario for mix defense as it makes more damage overall but has a longer distance for enemies to collide specially if the enemy uses inf phal. If the enemy uses range phal and you have the wall down using range phal the walking distance is even bigger, being a worse scenario for the defender. Having the wall up negates the range of the enemy being upfront as the inf will be up front when the wall comes down with range phal in attack so it even helps more for that. The only reason to knock your wall is if it had hold more than two attacks which these days is hard. Always defend mixes in inf phal with the wall up if posible, its the scenario where you have the least travel distance which is what matters.

I think one or two pact 5 familiars are useful , the 3rd one might be useless because sometimes they overkill one squad , and a squad is not a lot of troops anyway in mix rallies so wouldn't help much

Huh how bad i am i have full F2p 100%, oversized farm hahaha 1.1 Bilion might with 19 milion troops but i trained to satisfie my curiosity so in composition i have 8 milion T2, probably bad chooice is 3 milion T3, and 6.5 milion t4, i dont count + 500 k t4 siege but if composition is not problem i was maxed both wall defence reaserches meaning i have wall 2.2 milion hp points with max T4 traps so any, advice beside to disband all t3 troops or to keep it
