I have 43 Million troops with 10M each T2 “walls.” In the past, I never lost many troops from rallies… but then again, I haven’t been rallied in 2 years, lol. So I initially set up my familiars with Hearty Feast (Army HP +15%), Drown Out (Enemy Army HP -15%), Suit Up (15% Infantry Atk at start), Deadly Tips (15% Ranged Atk at start), and Abominable Strike (15% Cav Atk at start). After watching your video, and considering how damage is greater these days, I swapped out the Abominable Strike with Savage Breath (480% Ranged Atk at 4% loss). Though I do have Blackwing, Bon Appeti, and Gargantua maxed out, unfortunately, it’s taking a while to max out their Army Talents. Blackwing is at Lv 9 (thus 480% damage vs 600%) and Bon Appeti is only at Lv 6 (264% damage). When I do max those out, I think I will place them on my wall along with the HP boost and debuff. My Kingdom is not crazy, and people barely scout me, much less try to rally me. But during KvK, anything could happen, especially if we run into a Kingdom like yours, lol.

Showing the damage stats between different setups ( using camps of course ) would help your case better. I still am not convinced on shield fams being promoted over hp debuff fams
I couldn’t agree more. Only thing is seating in a range wedge I like to put the -40% inf HP instead of the -15% army hp. Especially because if you take a rally that you want to have a chance to defend you’ll have way more troops than the guy attacking you. Im a rally trap though.
Wouldn't tempestite be better than the shields fams? It takes only 10%, covers all troop types and protects all troops not only a small percentage of a certain troop type since it stuns the already engaged enemy squad for 8sec.s
that is incorrect. tempestite proks at 10% of ALL troops. so if you have 30m, you have to lose 3m of your front. shield fam proks at 12% of that particular troop type. so if you have 10m each troop type and 30m total, you'd only need to lose 1.2m of the front.
It would be really cool if you were willing to take a couple hits with that setup vs maybe 1 or 2 others to see how it reacts and have it recorded for everyone
@@Aevatrex just ask woody to rally you twice on counter. Once with the usualy T1/T2 setup and once with the setup in the video. People will 100% like to see the results :D :P

a case can be made, but when you are countered, that HP wont matter as much as completely stopping their dmg, people underestimate the power the shield provides especially on a counter
@@Aevatrex that decrease in hp can be increase your pact 5 damage + you able kill them faster which less damage isnt it? Also it said protect 7% of your frontline but they doesn't said the enemies only hit those got protected first or it will be spread among total amount of troops
40% isn't nearly as powerful and the difference maker you may think it is, it will help for sure but the shield accomplishes a few things, first the wording is a bit weird but essentially once it goes off their dmg stops completely for a good amount of time and when u throw in the the extra hp you'll get plus the other familiars it's basically like running into a wall, there's other setups that play it a bit safer and proc right away like u said but this setup I feel is the best way to completely stop a counter at a certain point without getting into crazy numbers where u lose 5m+ troops. Gryphon definitely not 10% of your overall troops is a big loss and rally should be practically over by the time it props, stacking familiars are also not good on the wall imo
I guess my main question is is there a certain order that we need to put them in. Do they prop at a certain time or in a certain order or is it based on percentage or troops lost....??
T5 fams damage is based on troop count/stats. So on video you showed can you show how many troops defender had? Cause unless we have a 50M troop comps like you they don’t do much damage based on my experience.
I think you're confused, their dmg isn't based on how many troops only when they proc, their dmg is based on ur stats, not ur troop number. So having more troops doesn't mean they will do less damage. Just proc later. But again even at 50m they will proc at 2m loss which isn't crazy if u get countered
