I love Rapid Set products. I have used their hydrolock to repair a foundation wall which stops water leaks followed up with their mortar mix which they recommend to also use on foundation wall repairs and now I'm getting ready to use their Cement All. I've done a lot of research on that product and I can't say enough how much I love their products. I follow two contractors on TH-cam that also use and recommend Rapid Set products.

I got that nervous feeling when the mix stopped giggling around 8:08. Then you actually said it! People who are familiar with high performance concrete know all to well about the rush that comes from racing the set time. Out here in Vegas it is not for the faint of heart because even set control adds only a couple minutes of working time. Great Channel.

nice video! love this mix. expensive now in 2023. and yea it can be hard to finish. even with "set control" packets. the packets sacrifice strength though. read directions carefully. you can use several packets per bag. you can really feather edge this stuff and really does NOT shrink.

Go get it, girl! My husband quit trying to do any concrete repair around our house once I asked if I could try it and did it much better than he ever has! Now he just does the mixing & brings me the mortar to work my magic!
I'm going to use this video sometime this summer to spruce-up my front porch. I hadn't considered doing the stone-look thing, but I think I am going to do it . I want to find out how tough it would be to use concrete dyes to give the stones different colors. You can do this! :-)

Use a old corded drill to mix rather than burn up a expensive Milwaukee cordless, a utility knife opens a bag much easier than gnawing through the end, use a face mask when handling dry product, see OSCHA Silica rules and guidelines. Pretty good video, don’t expect to duplicate this if you don’t have his experience, that stuff fires off super quick even with the expensive set control. Mix smaller amounts to stay in control of your material. There are admixes to add to Plastic Cement and different grades of sand that will accomplish these results and you will have a much longer working time, but to get that rounded overhang, you will need a super fast setting medium like this. One last thing, there are coloring agents to add rather than paint, get different shades and dust on different colors, in powder form while the material is still wet to get natural looking rocks or bricks. The way he shaped the rock and bricks was very good but again with this material you’d better be fast and have a plan ahead of time.

YEAH!, this was like waiting on the final episode of Mash to premiere. Going to try my hand at several of your videos. You make it look easy, hope it isn't too bad.

Well Michael, I see you didn't miss me.😭 Lol just to let you know how much I like watching your videos, I over cooked my pizza, I had to show you to my other half. He liked that making of stone on bottom of wall. Said be good for our chimney, the one for the furnace we don't use. The one he won't get a chance to put stone on now. Now he understands why I don't want to miss your videos. Sorry missed last one,. Phone was out, missed notification for it. Thank you so much for your videos they are fun to watch and learn from everyone. Hope you and family are well and safe. 😄 Sorry, the phone was before last week. Last week I was in our woods cutting down trees for our firewood. Yes, I am also a lumberjack. Lol.
