I’m not yet an expert but from what I’ve seen type S will crack before a parking mix or sandy Portland mix will. And after you parted I think you are supposed to cover it with plastic for a few days. Your thoughts? Cheers from Ontario
Nice
Thanks
In the future could you please let u know what type of product you are using. You mentioned some but not all. Beginners watch these videos so please start from the beginning. Thank you!

I like that you didn’t just do little patches. Good video.
I always dislike the brown finish of a parging / mortar mix. Can you use pigment? And also, do you ever finish with a penetrative sealer?
They sell dye, Home depot, lowe's, suppliers...
Where was the wire repair
I love your stone and brickwork, but your parging????? needs some work, my man!!!......sorry!
Those with all the obstacles are the most difficult. Didn't seem to bother you a bit!
Does anyone parge a foundation outside of Canada?

Did u get shrinkage cracks ?
I got value from your parging😁 haven’t heard that word in awhile
Good job with the removal of old product
Thanks bro for sharing your videos
Why didn’t you move the cement patio stones to parge a little lower.
Because he doesn't need to the trowel is thin enough to reach behind.
Brother how to parging painted wall in basement ?
Question.... because it's hard to tell..... did you grind off all the old parging or did you just "rough it up" for better adhesion?
It's just to rough it up a little and also get all the loose stuff off.

Very nice job keep up the good work!
Thanks!
What is the recipe for your parging that is suitable for the Canadian winter? Thanks.
Just mix your motar mix with the dynex 600 and about 1/2 gallon maple syrup per 20lb
@@ThisIsSolution is the maple syrup a joke? If it is, it would be a cruel answer to a serious question.
@@annshr9917 The trick with the maple syrup mix is to apply it with a hockey stick instead of a trowel, otherwise it won't spread correctly.
@@smc1897 The insult never stops, eh?
Dont worry Ann.. These people are self proclaimed professionals and do not know what they are talking about. Its very amusing 🤣
Thank you for sharing your skills
Great video excellent advice. Took a job and our Parker guy quit last minute. This may save us. Thank you
Glad it helped
Watched liked, and subscribed. If I add some modified thin set to my S mortar will it gives better adhesion?
Bonding adgent ( milk) works good where the wall is perfectly clean a little porous no paint or tar cement will not stick to tour with a latex bonding agent even a wild Creek either grind Attar all down to fresh Bearcreek are use wire lathe
thanks for sharing, exactly what I needed
Glad it was helpful!
You do great work.
Thank you, Robert 👍🏽
