it's crazy because RTX is older than GTX now. so when is the real 4K gaming standard going to arrive. monitors and GPUs are still expensive and 1080p and 1440p are still the most used Res anyway. I feel like people have been placebo-ing 4K for over 5 years now

FYI: The new Windows 11 update turns memory integrity off located in core isolation settings. You can achieve this same performance in older Windows 11 builds by turning this setting off without updating.
Amazon was selling the Ryzen 7 7700x for $210 plus tax $225, comes with the two-game bundle which helps take that price down, I ordered one and it has shipped, will arrive on the 17th.

@@NethanielBee There are actualy a handfull of games that are cpu bound that will suffer, and the 9700x is not realy that much faster then even the 7700x, just more efficient. But then there's the price... I'd had gone with the 7800x3d much better. Not to mention, you say the 4k resolution is one of the reazons to accept the 9700x since it wont be as taxed at 4k... but then we got new generations coming soon and then, you may regret not having the comprobably FASTER cpu.

@@goalieman206 nope. Didn’t skimp on anything. No AIO. I used a thermalright peerless assassin, which will handle the 7700x just fine. Sure, I went with a 1tb instead of 2tb nvme, but that’s the only real difference. Regardless, it’s a far better than their build.
That would be my dream build, i wouldnt trust the economy, might need cash at time, buying a high end 4090 type build seems wastefull, and might need the money in the future to eat and pay more taxes

its absoluetly terrible value build you can easily get a rx7900xtx if you replace the overkiil cpu with something normal like an ryzen 7600x or 7700x i also get that they went for looks so aio is kinda given but i would definetily not build this

If you’re not near one then a 7800x3d, Powercolor 7800 GRE (you can save $20 by going with a Asrock Challenger GRE), thermalright peerless assassin RGB (because it’s only a dollar more so why not. You can get non rgb if you want), gigabyte b650 gaming x ax, Teamgroup DDR5 32GB cl30 6400 RAM (can go 6000 ram and save like $5 but it’s worth going up), crucial p3 plus Gen 4 Nvme, Montech XR case, and thermaltake 850W PSU for $1637.74. If you bought used gpu and cpu you could probably save a hundred or two off of that.

I just finished it with with the same GPU they're using, I had it on Max settings 4k FSR on quality when I started and it ran great. Still ended up turning on FSR/dynamic resolution just in case there were more demanding sections. It would probably run great just at Max settings 1440p with no FSR also, it's well optimized

@@WatchingTH-cam700 it might be able to do 180fps on fortnite at 4k in low/competitive settings, in Call of Duty: Warzone 3 at 1440p max u will be able to get around 120-200fps depending on the area, I would recommend you to get 32gb of ram instead of 16gb

People don't understand material price, labour cost, inflation, logistics and the need to make profits as a business to name but a few costs. People want to buy a PC for the cost of a PC in 2005 but normal people couldn't afford a baller PC in 2005 either *brace for mad replies* You may not have $1,700 today but learn to save, it took me 2yrs of not spending money on things like coffee and take outs when I had coffee and food at home and putting spare money towards parts, selling old gear I no longer used to save for my PC which nowadays would be classed as entry level
I think the real problem with this video is that you can build a 7500f, 7900 gre that will have identical performance in 4k (less cpu intensive) for $1000. Price to performance given their parts selection and the target resolution is really bad. Part of that is because it's a sponsored video so they have to used the sponsor's components, but still you can put together a 4080 super build on am5 for $1700.

The cpu costs as much as an entire gaming pc that plays 99.9999% of games ever made and plays them well. Even of you have 1700 just build a 800$pc and then buy a ps5pro and order a few pizzas for all your friends to come over and game on both, all for the same price. Then give the ps5 pro away and you are now a better person with a life exprience to share who can also play all the same games as that a 1700 pc can.

there's no bottleneck at 4k with this setup so there would probably only be at max a 5% performance increase with a 7800x3d :D

XTX is probably a touch more expensive (at least in Switzerland), you should consider 7900XT or going second hand
