  • Recently I decided to take up floundering, only problem I had is the lights you buy from the tackle stores aren't really that good, So.. I built my own and videoed the whole thing so you at home can see how easy it is to build your own.

    Interesting concept Steve. Never done floundering before. Next time as a suggestion to ensure the most watertight protection on your joins is to go to a place like Jaycar and get dual-wall heatshrink. This normally has 4 to 1 shrink ratio but is resin-lined. So when you heat it up the resin melts then sets and produces a water tight seal. I only use that on anything exposed to the elements. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

    Awesome floundering light mate, just made one with the kings work light kit that come with the tub rack kit see how she goes, got it powered with m18 milwaukee battery with adapter from ebay, im thinking the led light you have or something similar in ip69 rating will be the go looks like it would have a wider spred in light.🎉

      i got them from the 4x4 show a few years back, I have no idea what brand they are. you can pick up similar ones from Kings pretty cheap too
