Gigging sheepshead in Fort Pierce

Took my sister and her dog gigging for sheepshead in Fort Pierce Florida. I have my Dory skiff rigged up with underwater lights and a trolling motor. We got lots of sheepshead, sand perch, and I got a mantis shrimp. The gigging lights are beautiful and light up all the fish perfectly. We saw sharks, sting ray, and lots of different fish. Always fun to go gigging on a calm quiet night.
The gigging lights that i use come from alumaglow. I like the alumaglow gigging lights because they are easy to take off my boat when im not using them.

Alot of that water use to have grass beds and were full of fish, sad to see it that way. Cool puppy ! Looked like a fun night.

Amazing clear water. I live 5 minutes from the Oslo Canoe and Kayak launch and the water there is never that clear. I have gigged flounder in the Outer Banks. Didn't know there was shallow sandy bottom areas in Ft. Pierce that were good for gigging. Cool. :-)

Gigging fish is like shooting deer at night with a spot light.....it's requires no skill n can b done by any1 with a brain........so im so prod that u can snag a fish........ try to actually catching one with a fishing pole......then when u land the fish u get this feeling of accomplishment n it fells so good that u dont wana kill the fish that just made ur day so u let u go so Maybe some 1 else can enjoy the same thing u did
