Damn, I should make videos just like this. I’ve been knowing all of this information since I bought my first set of wheels custom in 2012. I went down a rabbit hole and I learned everything about wheel fitment and everything and I am a super sick artist, minded person, and, before I seen what people are doing I’ve already been doing. I’ve been drying my cars slammed with flush and poked rims. I’m not trying to brag, but I should be doing shit like this because I am the artist and I have excellent perspective on everything that has to do with stance of a car. Period.
Yo, I'm looking for a mild drop on a 2011 Accord v6 sedan, but my driveway is 1/2 mile long gravel. Nothing too crazy, but the wheel gap has got to go and the 17" oem rims too! What are you thinking homie? Tein street advance and a set of 18" Aodhan DS06 +35's with 245/40r18's is where my thinking put me...
@@kevinlhighfill thanks for your question but what size wheel are you looking to replace the 17 inch wheel? If you go to an 18 inch rim I would drop your car an inch and a half . I really don’t see a gravel driveway as having too many dips and High Point’s. But if you just want to get rid of the wheel wall gap than a 2 inch drop with the 18 inch wheel will make it super clean but to be perfectly honest, I have dropped a few cars with springs, and it always looked cool, but until I Spent some extra money and bought coil overs is when I was truly happy with the lock of my car. I would go coil overs and then you can customize the drive, but just keep in mind. This is not some thing that a backyard mechanic can do easily. you’ll have to get your car aligned each time you adjust the springs, and if you have even more money to spend on a drop, then there is always the air ride suspension and then you can always raise it up when you come home.
The best thing about our website is our gallery, you have the ability to find what size tire you need for any size wheel plus you get to see what it looks like on someone else's ride! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
So I have a 2015 Honda Accord. Thinking of getting a 8.5 width wheel , but I don’t want the rear negative camber. Do I have to roll the fenders?? 😭 I’m on coils
I have one question. I have a 2016 Honda Accord Coupe V6. I want to run 20 x 9 rims. What tire size would be better a 235/35/20 or 245/35/20. Any help on this issue would be a blessing. Thank you.
You can browse through our gallery and check out all the accords and see what tire size you think suits you best :D www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?order=year&make=Honda&model=Accord&page=1
Have you ever installed non stagered tires on a stagered set of rims? I would like to install 265 width tires on a 9J and 10,5J rim. How would it look, would there be much difference?
If your on a 20x10.5 the size tire you will need for stock height is 275/35/20 u need a wide tire not a tall tire. If its still rubbing u need to go for a tire like a 245/35/20 any smaller and your probably going to have alot of stretch. And a 245 is right on that edge. The part thats rubbing is the tread because the tire is too tall... On a 20 inch rim u have less gap between it and the rest of the car.
Nice vids. I am gonna change brand new Veemann wheels for my Bmw F10. Confused about tyres. Want a nice look but nothing crazy. Front 8,5,rear 9,5. Et 35 & 43.At the moment i have 245/45/18 & 275/40/18,ugly 🤮. Car will be lowered later. I am looking for nice setup, thank you 👍👍👍
I have 19x8 front 19x8.5 rear and was thinking of getting 235 35 front and 245 35 rear would this be wise for an Acura TL that currently scrapes tire with 225 45 from and 245 40 rear
@fitment industries if I want this exact tire, wheel, and coil over system set up on the same model car would I need to roll the fenders like how he did
So 245 on 20x8.5 is kinda stretched ? So what tire I need to use for 20x9.5 to have a little stretch ? Tire is ___/40r20 ? What first 3 digits are supposed to be ?
would it go the same for 19" wheels? I'm looking for new tires and i'm thinking 225/35r19x8.5j and 255/30r19x10j. I'm actually not looking for much stretch, just a bit so I can tuck the rears as I run on air suspension.
I have a 275/30/20 on my back and 255/35/20 on my front its throwing my car reading off, how do i match the front with back so it wont trip it? I have a 2014 q50
How can you calibrate the Speedometer? I have recently changed my wheels and it reads 80mph when im actually going 70mpg...Also can you tell me what PSI he is running?
A lot of people run a 245/45 in the front and go with something a little thicker in the back like a 295/40. It all depends on the looks you're going for tho. Check out these 350z's in our gallery so you can get an idea :) www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?order=year&make=Nissan&model=350Z&page=1
Yeah you might need some fender rolling done. Shoot us an email at wheels@fitmentindustries.com and we can help you with your fitment related questions to help you get the stance your looking for!
The newer accords have huge wheel wells now. If you check the rear fenders now they’re a lot flatter than previous generations Check out fitment industries website and search for 2018 accords, you’ll see a few guys on there who run wheels wider than 8.5” and they didn’t touch the fenders at all. It just depends on how low you’re really planning to go as well
Oofff.. that sounds like a stretch, check our gallery and see what most people are running! Here’s a link. -Edgar www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?sort=yno&year=2010&make=Toyota&model=Camry&drive=FWD
@@FitmentIndustries thank you for your time and quick response I appreciate it. I did some more research today for the tires 245/35/r20 a better fitment would be some 20x9 rims. I will check out the website thanks.
Why the hell would you go wider in the back or hell even a staggered setup on a FWD car? That's so stupid the only thing this setup would offer is a more planted rear end and I can almost guarantee this car doesn't get tracked
Love this video nobody really talked about when you make a full turn on 20 inch rims and fitment

Love it!!! Super clean look and i love the set up. Good job!!
If I had an 18inch wheel instead of a 20inch would the 225/35 still look like his or would it look different because the wheels smaller?
If it had 9.5 in the back would you still need a camber kit
Man I need to come see u guys to get my car looking right. I know how I want it to look but I haven’t the slightest idea on what size to get.

what size would fit then 235

How much air pressure goes on 20×10 you didn't mention that, Thank you.
wtf you don't change air pressure based on wheel size!? Just look at the tire it shows psi recommendations...
I have same car but dont want to roll fender should I go with 45mm or 35mm on 19x8.5 squared
35mm to be safe 45 might be cutting it close!

What tire I need if I want to run a stretch tire on a 20x11 rim?

20x8.5 all around on mine on 245/35 no rubbing and i’m on eibach springs dropped about an inch and a half all around
good setup too me just need spacers to get the fitment flush

Í have the same size rims and tires the shop said í couldnt do the rotation is that true
You would need to do side to side rotation instead of front to back. That’s what I do and it works and still have my tires now

On what car!
9.5 min 245 not 235

Ah yes... wider rear tire to insure plenty of traction on his... front wheel drive car..
staggered on a FWD accord? If you want to look like an idiot, waste money, and fuck up the cornering balance, sure go ahead.
