I'm a console gamer and I can't wait to get a steam deck. It's gonna be my first and only entry into PC gaming since it's hard for me to use mouse and keyboard because I have mild cerebral palsy. When I downloaded the steam app last year and started adding games to my wishlist I didn't know how often PC games go on sale
Same story for me. The SD is my only „PC“ and I freaking love this thing! Upgraded also to the OLED and highly recommend that if you play frequently on it like me. Have fun with it!
The Steam Deck OLED is my first. There are things I like about it and things I don’t like about it. It’s definitely better than the Nintendo Switch. Playing Days Gone looks great. The thing that I hate about it is that it can’t play some older games like Max Payne 1, but the 2 and 3 one plays with no problem. But overall I do like the Steam Deck
@@jdxcoffee we can hear you best, someone times with the grinder or the pot blowing you become heard to hear. and with the hat mic you voice is ultra clear
Welcome to PC gaming. Steam sales are addictive. You'll build up your library in no time. Plenty of exclusive PC games you can try out. Also, shooter games with keyboard & mouse is difficult at first, but is superior once you learn.
welcome back to the Steam Deck crowd! Recommendation Incoming!!!(WARNING)!!! Ys I & II Chronicles, its a remaster of two games from 1987 and 1989, accounting one of Adol's adventures. It is a masterpiece and though the visuals and OST have been updated, fundamentally the both games are identical to the originals and they blew me away as a modern gamer. They aren't long games so you can get through both in just under 15 hours. A lot of the Ys games and Falcom games for that matter are locked to outdated hardware and PC, which makes the Steam Deck the ultimate Falcom machine. I cannot stress these two games enough. Oh and what size PC build were you considering to make? Mini-ITX?!?!?!
This is super interesting, you should bring more videos about your experience with it, maybe accesories or even a setup if you will, thanks for sharing!
I swear by buying first party for the sole reason of supporting the brand. The more first party purchases, the more cool shit the brand is willing to bring out.
But you can't play most aaa games at a least 1080p high settings 60fps, I wouldn't wish to use the steam deck as my primary device it is better suited towards a secondary due to its power limitations.
Good video thanks for sharing, I’m in the boat where I game casually on my switch OLED and tempted to sell it and put towards a steam deck as I fancy a change. I’ve been so close to ordering a deck but so far haven’t pulled the trigger as yet. If I could afford to keep both then I would just order the deck ha
@@jdxcoffee it's funny you mention it. My partner and I just started a business where I dress up as bluey and go to events lol. The kids LOVE it. We wanna get more costumes like bingo and others but it's awesome being a bluey dad

DAILY it would seem
I highly recommend the steam deck had mine for about a week now an I play it everyday and I’m not a handheld gamer.

Top down shots are great. So happy to see the joy of you opening this Steam Deck OLED. It really is a nice little piece of hardware.

You can emulate max pain easily on the SD. Try it!
You can play the original Max Payne upscaled for sure.
Dude love the top down shots.
And so glad to have the hat mic back. Best audio!!!
you really prefer that audio. I was using a nice boom in my previous vids. does this actually sound better?
Your boom mic sounds a bit bassier this is more clear imo.

That is also a good reason
The OLED can now boat up using Bluetooth controllers
Pretty neet change for docking.
oh thats sick
Steam Deck is a good option to play PC games without having to waste thousands of dollars on a GPU or laptop...plus is portable.

I really like it.
That is what my PS5 is for
Pick up Tetris Effect, put on your best headphones and enjoy the ride on your new oled. It's a great pick up and play game.
hahaha that sounds fun
Deliver us the moon and deliver us mars are amazing. I absolutely loved them
looking into it
