      did u ever get that tube connecting to the turbo off ?

  • @chupposity

    Thanks for the video - tons of helpful info. Extra tips 1) I drained some water out of the cooling system so none would leak out of that cooling line in the middle of the cam cover. I used the small cooling line attached to the passenger side top of the radiator. 2) the cooling line straight out of the turbo I just did a gradual bend to move it over far enough to clean the cam cover 3) in the back on passenger side there is another metal line I was able to bend slightly to get out of the way 4) the wiring connectors for the cam sensors were a pain after sliding the white piece over I had to use some pliers and gently squeeze it to get them to release

    Good Vid Bro. I had the daunting task of changing that vacuum pump. But they explode when the break apparently, and part blew off in the valve cover. So turned into a bigger job. So imma just buy the gasket kit since its open.

    That pcv hose on top of the valve cover can be removed using a quick disconnect. If you shave the flat ridge off with a sharp knife, you can then get the quick disconnect in and it pops free.

    Think mine is having the same problem smh might get out there myself. I’m just annoyed about the hoses on top of the engine. Particularly the one you pointed out that needs a special tool to get off. I replaced that one earlier this year smh. Thing took a long time to get off even with the tool I was livid 😂😂😂

      @@ThePullUpKing hey man it’s me again Ive finally gotten around to this job. Can you tell anymore about that hidden back screw on the vacuum pump? I’ve basically clear the top of the engine of all connects and hoses, removed two out of the three screws for the vacuum pump, and have the final screw that’s hidden on the left of the pump loosened to the point that it’s wiggling around. The only thing is that this screw won’t come out. It’s as if the threaded plastic in the hole has the screw caught up or something. This is pretty much stopping me from fully removing the vacuum pump. We got the pump pushed back but not completely separated from the valve cover. And also what did you do to pry and separated the valve cover from the engine block ?

    Thanks..great video. I have a 2015. get code p1101. Was told to change valve cover kit, service crank case and throttle assembly as all the valves were plugged with oil. You know your stuff..does this seem right? I don't have excessive oil leakage or dripping.

    • @ThePullUpKing
      @ThePullUpKing  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @locutus1126 Thanks alot man.💯 It's hard to say without being able to diagnose it, but that code is aiming at the mass airflow sensor. I would check the wires and test the sensor before replacing. Check air fliter and check for vacuum leaks. A smoke test find any leaks.

    Hello comrade, thank you for your video, I was encouraged to change the gaskets on my ATS 2015 2.0T, I already removed all the hoses, screws and the vacuum valve, but could you please support me, the large aluminum cover does not come up, now I tried and hit the black part of the wall of fire, how did you get it, could you please help me, is it pulling up or towards some specific side? Thank you for your support, greetings.

    Jeez what a mess. I was thinking of doing this my self but mine isn't nearly as bad although i did recently re torque the bolts which seemed to help a bit and u might want to replace the Gasket on the turbo oil line at the upper side (mine was leaking there)
    How many miles u got on that thing? Also are those zzp coil packs worth it?
    Thanks for the content hopefully i dont have to do this.

      147k miles. Coil look good for sure. Not sure how great they work, tho. Zzp told me not to buy them for my 2.0 build. Forged Pistons, Cams, etc. Less money I need to spend. I assume they do well on stock internals.
