    Never seen one put in backwards, Nice find! That pump lifter usually gets left out during engine swaps and run on low side fuel pressure just not very good.

    What a video Rob! I'm just wondering ... why at the beginning the scanner did not do the full scan? when you put your breakout box everything went back to life...... I wish you the best 2022... nice diag!

      I'm not sure why I didn't. I really only needed Engine data at the time.

    Hi 2015 ats car first started with stability. Trak and traction control then started to idle rough and gear down rough pulled over turned off on nothing came back hour later came back misfire cylinder four changed sparks coils in all afterwards ran fine idled better then next morning came back Same codes idle rough wanted to dies realized Pcv lines were cracked changed both cleared codes traction back and stability rough idle again misfire four again

    Hi rob I have been looking for videos that similar issues with the same exact car and your video told me a lot about my car and but still I haven’t been able to find the exact issue with the car would it be possible if I could contact you on email or number so I can send you the codes it’s throwing at me and how the car sounds when it’s running idk if this to much ask please I need help with this car

    Mine does the same but gave me a code for the fuel rail pressure sensor. Would that be the cause?

    Hi. I realize this vid was from quite some time ago, but i've run into the same problem with the roller being reversed. How did u get that out? Thanks in advance.

      I pulled it out with pliers. It was really stuck.

    Why isn't it possible to replace the piston directly unless it has scored the crap out of the cylinder, even still could maybe be sleeved right? IDK new motor would fix it but das expensive.

      Till you get done tearing the motor apart, buying new bolts, gaskets, honing the block, new timing set, checking everything, and buying new pistons and rings for each cylinder, it just isn't worth the money versus buying a new block. I haven't checked in a while but new long blocks used to only be $1600-$1800 from GM

    You can remove the pump without removing the intake ?

    So a fuel pump could make it misfire bc mines saying cylinder 4 but I change everything

      It can, you have to be careful throwing parts at a car without diagnosing it. You can create other problems

    How did you get the plug out? Got one seems to be seized in there.

      Where in the video did you see that? It may command zero when not cranking.

      @@RobertDotterer It was on the scan tool (11:51)but later I noticed a second pid below it with a plausible number

      I think the pid just didn't update or something happened.

      Piston wasn't cracked but it was damaged.
