I think the Legends Guild should get a rework. The perk of the Quest Cape is to teleport there, which other than being close to a fairy ring, isn't that great, when the Myth's cape is both easier to get, better stats, and a more useful location with everything there.
the only thing legend's cape has going for it is better replaceability for risky activities. that and being iconic af. still has love as an esthetics item

Just recently reactived my account I hadn't played since I was like 10 I'm now 26 been binge watching content to try and learn/catch-up but there's so much to take in. Your content has been extremely helpful in many aspects of learning the game so thank you and hope you keep up the brilliant work.
As an added comment, a lot of these guilds have nice uses. -As was mentioned in one comment, the Warriors' Guild has great, cheap foods. -On my brother's F2P Ironman, I know he uses the crafting guild to mine silver to make tiaras; he starts in Falador, makes air runes along the way, and teles to Falador to use the furnace and bank. This is actually one of the better EHP methods in the game that nets you Runecraft, Mining, Smithing, and Crafting XP (plus tele xp, but laws are hard to come by in F2P). -The Wizards' Guild has a tele to the essence mine that is very close to the Yanille bank, useful for mining essence on an Ironman.
I use the Crafting Guild for gold and silver mining often. Great place to make wet clay as well. Cooking Guild I also use, grapes and a jug, easy 200xp, flour mill close to a bank, even without being able to use the one IN the Guild. Mining Guild on F2P is still great for making mith and addy bars, or speed mining iron.
This game still has an incredible amount of potential with so many things needing improvements; wildy, mini-games, guilds, certain skills like fishing/herblore and perhaps.. mining/runecrafting/agility.
For some reason I love the warriors guild. It looks so badass and old school and has a variety of activities, even if you dont do them all, to collect the tokens
The Heroes, Champion, and Legends Guilds should all be wrapped into one. It makes no sense that a Guild exists for one quest and then you’re done, and the building serves no purpose. How cool would it be to have a single Guild you’d return to at different points in your character’s journey to take on new challenges? Take the Legends’ guards for example. Maybe they say nothing when you first enter, or warn you that you’re not strong enough. After a quest they still say nothing, but greet you warmly if you talk to them. By the time you have a few quests under your belt, they announce your arrival as you walk through the gates.
Achiettes and Sir Erkle are bent over a table, surveying battle plans or exotic maps. They give you curt responses when you first enter, as they have bigger things to worry about then pleasantries with the new recruits. Oziach has a mission for you though, and calls you over. ...A few big quests and a couple dozen combat levels later, maybe all four of you share a pint, while Oziach slides a wax sealed envelope to you, inviting you to a new guild, one they had previously thought was just a myth...
I’d love to see the ranging guild have a dungeon with chinnable monsters. I wouldn’t have them be as good as MM2 tunnels, but a nice spot for Pures and maybe gain tickets from killing them
@@alecnolastname4362 I suppose, but even still that's very niche. There are way more efficient ways for IM to train crafting and fletching, plus with the Kandarin diary, Temple Trekking, and ogre shop there are way faster ways of getting bow strings if you really need them.
I'd put Ranging Guild below Quest Guilds personally. Hero's Guild is the only place where you can buy the Dragon Battleaxe, it has a safe-spottable Blue Dragon (which used to be farmed a lot), and an easy method to recharge Amulet of Glories. Legend's Guild has the totem where you can recharge skills necklaces and combat braclets, the dude who sells the right half of the dragon shield, and the general store does sell a decent amount of med-level food. Champion's Guild is a bit dead, but considering that it's the only f2p place that can sell green dhide and rune equipment (aside from the G.E. of course), I'd say that it's fine. Granted, quest guilds have more use for ironmen than normal accounts, but there's still at least a use. There's really not much need for anyone to go to the Ranging Guild except to buy their skillcape.
I have a few ideas for that could make the cooking guild better. I'm not saying add them all but any of these changes would make it more appealing in my opinion. Maybe add a stat buff while in the guild, have the cooking gauntlets effect work for all food inside the guild, have the range by the bank have a similar effect to the Hosidius kitchen, or gain an additional 2.5% exp for cooking on the the range by the bank. I think adding one or two of these ideas would make it significantly more useful without stepping on the toes of the Hosidius kitchen.
I feel even something as simple as adding amethyst arrows to the ranging guild reward pool /adding another way to collect tickets would heavily bolster the use of the guild. I know I'd be there constantly on my iron.
Besides the bank requirement someone already mentioned why bots aren't there you did forget the second floor completely with a hide Tanner. By far anytime I do a dragon task that provides hides I'll collect them and when I'm done or got enough for a crafting level I go to the guild and it's by far faster than al karad or canifis which if you have the bank unlocked I'd rank higher than fishing guild personally. And I have the fishing cape only cause barb fishing was useful for other skills and I still think I use crafting more than fishing guild. This is all my opinion though and I really appreciate all your videos bud. Keep it up. Much ❤️
Hero's and Legends guild definitely need -something-. Both have been virtually unchanged since RS-Classic (before RS2 in '04) !! They don't need to be meta, but the unlocks feel like huge achievements in the game's story line. Legend's Quest is a big right of passage, and you just get jack-shit once you're in there. Its sad.
The wizards guild offers teleports at the top of the guild. I use them a lot to get to places no other teleport can arrive at, such as the magic trees at sorcerers tower (made close to a bank by the guild). You can teleport right outside the guild using the watchtower teleport after moving it.
Mage and Ranged guild should be updated... It would be cool if the training camp near Gnome Stronghold became part of the ranging guild and that it offered shops with arrow heads up to rune, crossbows up to adamant, and dragonhide up to red sragonhide. It would also be wonderful if inside the ranging guild there was a store that would sell cannonballs, and cannon ball molds.. there's so much that could be done in Ranged guild... I'd find it immersive to connect a Eagle Teleportation in the guild as well. and if the Magic guild would move to the Mage Training Arena, or even better... If the Mage guild had teleports to three locations: Arceus Library, Mage Training Arena in Desert and Mage Arena in deep wilderness
Tbh. If they impliment something like.. Increase 10% for doing skills at the guild. For example, Doing crafting inside Crafting Guide increase 10% from the gained exp. Instead of Normal exp (skilling outside Guild) 70, Players gain 77 exp (10%) instead by skilling inside the correct guild. Tho i know they won't impliment this. But still. It would be great if they did so. It will promote players to visit the guild more
Its so strange how these are so forgotten when they are just perfect for quests. For low-mid level content, starting it as a mission given to the champions guild makes sense. The warriors guild may have heard rumours of a legendary weapon and sends you to unvestigate. Maybe a legendary white whale has been spotted and the fishing guild is tasked with catching it.
Great idea! there's a lot of untapped design space here for example an osrs version of distractions and diversions. lets say a new mission every hour or half starting from champs or heroe's guild. such things would make the guilds feel actually very alive because they start interacting with the world. it would give players a reason to hang out in them, waiting for a mission they go for as a rag tag team of randos and make it alive with players too.
Btw, if you're grinding Taverly Dungeon stuff, the Wizard's guild is actually oddly useful if you tele to yanille and then take the portal over to the dark wizards.
In my opinion the mage, cooking and ranging guilds are the only real ones that need major changes. The rest of the guilds on the weaker side can easily be pushed forward with some minor tweaks and changes to their already existing content, imo, but these 3 need some special attention. The change to the cooking one you proposed here is quite uninspired and also really shallow. Each should get a unique minigame that offers some pretty lucrative and/or worthwhile rewards, imo. The mage guild could, for example, offer some upgrade to the eternal boots. The ranging guild should have all D'hide sets for sale, along with some bows, crossbows, arrows and bolts etc. On top of that, some small dungeon or minigame as you proposed would definitely make the place more lively.
I would have liked to see Slayer masters in the combat guilds that has a higher chance to assign tasks whose defensive stats are particularly weaker to that combat skill.
Would be nice to see jagex go back and update some of the actual dead content in this game. Instead of trying to find ways to force us to do it. For example certain diaries forcing you to do dead content for task completion.

Ironmen use the Magic Guild A LOT! The woodcutting guild is very popular still , the Fishing guild is used by pet hunters to get the fishing pet. The Mining guild is a great spot to power mine and always has people in it. Crafting guild is the bank for the top tier players. Very little guild aren't used. It's maybe Ranging and Cooking that serve no use.
I think the warrior guild is ranked well, I would have just added it's used a ton by ironman for the food shop. I suppose maybe the potion shop as well, but if you're 65att/65str you should have atleast the herblore for strength pots
I guess to actually buff the cooking guild the range has to cook 2 pieces at once which would be really op or something like the mass hall which also gives you a bit of gp as a reward. but yea I wanna see these old guilds have a purpose again
i think a nice new guild would be nice , fletching guild, were u can maybe get headless arrows / dart tips from shops as rewards for doing something there
Quest could easily be moved and would still fit and how would archers defending a town from ogres not work and it would make big chompy hunting fit more if we brought peace between ogres and yanille since through quests we are on good terms with ogres
Idea: Make Guilds work WITH F2Ps rather than against. I like the crafting guild because of the gold ore, but the fact I can't even easily bank is annoying as shit.
If anything the guilds are useful for bank spots, useful for teleports to different areas and even useful for shops and kinda applies to nearly every guild lol typos fat thumbs lolol

Hi! Get Your stats to base 60 in f2p (all stats 60 except runecraft, suggesting 80 in melee stats afking red spiders in security stronghold). After getting first membership, train mining in motherlode mine, get coal bag and start grinding blast gurnace steel bars for good starter money. When You get Your bank to nice level, try starting doing all the quests until at least recipe for disaster and all medium diaries. I shot my bank up after training stats up and farming Zulrah boss. Game becomes significantly easier. GL!
Where are the bots? You can't use the bank in the crafting guild without the skillcape. Also, Fossil Island spinning wheel is close and you don't have to take stairs

The crafting guild is kinda crap for f2p players we can't use the bank chest or deposit box and have to run rediculously far just to get to a bank. Like why add a deposit box and bank chest so close to each other that only mems can use? It makes absolutely no sense and is unnecessary.

The reason the crafting guild isn't filled with bots is because the bank is locked behind the Falador hard diaries or 99 crafting.
When I tried to use it, it said I need to be a member.

Ah, the crafting guild probably doesn't get botted because you need either 99 crafting or the Hard Falador Diary to use the bank there
And with only clay silver and gold rocks there the crafting guild isn't that valuable

The unidentifiable minerals from the mining guild can now be traded into gem bags and soft clay just like the MLM.

I think the warrior guild is ranked well, I would have just added it's used a ton by ironman for the food shop. I suppose maybe the potion shop as well, but if you're 65att/65str you should have atleast the herblore for strength pots
I guess to actually buff the cooking guild the range has to cook 2 pieces at once which would be really op or something like the mass hall which also gives you a bit of gp as a reward. but yea I wanna see these old guilds have a purpose again
i think a nice new guild would be nice , fletching guild, were u can maybe get headless arrows / dart tips from shops as rewards for doing something there

There aren't any bots in the crafting guild because of the fally hard diary requirement to use the bank. I'm still putting it off myself...

Quest could easily be moved and would still fit and how would archers defending a town from ogres not work and it would make big chompy hunting fit more if we brought peace between ogres and yanille since through quests we are on good terms with ogres
Idea: Make Guilds work WITH F2Ps rather than against. I like the crafting guild because of the gold ore, but the fact I can't even easily bank is annoying as shit.
Does rogues den count as a thieving guild? I remember really liking the thieving guild in RS2. With all the weird thieving content.
If anything the guilds are useful for bank spots, useful for teleports to different areas and even useful for shops and kinda applies to nearly every guild lol

Hi! Get Your stats to base 60 in f2p (all stats 60 except runecraft, suggesting 80 in melee stats afking red spiders in security stronghold). After getting first membership, train mining in motherlode mine, get coal bag and start grinding blast gurnace steel bars for good starter money. When You get Your bank to nice level, try starting doing all the quests until at least recipe for disaster and all medium diaries. I shot my bank up after training stats up and farming Zulrah boss. Game becomes significantly easier. GL!

Where are the bots? You can't use the bank in the crafting guild without the skillcape. Also, Fossil Island spinning wheel is close and you don't have to take stairs
I find the crafting guild very useful for tanning hides on my ironman, the only thing it needs is someone who sells needles and thread!!!!

Quest guild should be separate
1 Hero guild isnt has dead has the other 2
2 Legend guild still gets his toten even if its not for a full refil
3Champion guild is just a fun little think for the one who wanna test their rng
IMO Champions guild is better than Ranging guild for the simple reason that Champ guild offers low level Ironmen easy way to get good armor

The crafting guild is kinda crap for f2p players we can't use the bank chest or deposit box and have to run rediculously far just to get to a bank. Like why add a deposit box and bank chest so close to each other that only mems can use? It makes absolutely no sense and is unnecessary.
