Bolt pouch can be used in the inferno. It would let you use, say a radas blessing 4 in the ammo slot when using a blowpipe, and also be able to carry more than 1 bolt at the same time (ruby/diamond bolts e) while using the same amount of inventory space. Not a terrible item to be honest.
I remember smashing the barrel because it had a pretty common food ddrop for getting further in the caves if you used some getting in, but even in 16 years of playing I have *never* heard of the pie selling scam npc.

rs3 made the bolt pouch worth it by making it the twivern quiver its equitable on there and you can set it to shoot the bolts of your choice still keeping the x amount of different bolts in there. if they would do the same mechanic it would be useful for diamond bolts and ruby bolt combos on monsters such as K.B.D

y'know, the pie guy, for in-game people, that probably is A LOT of money. I mean, if you look at the prices of in-game gear right... compare the value that guy gives you for your pies to what, let's say, a FULL STEEL PLATEBODY costs you. perhaps NPC values are the most realistic aspect of the entire game... Beer for 3 gold, so why would you expect pies to go for 1k+.
The bolt pouch already does have uses and its not that unknown. I remember when I used to do arma I would use broad bolts for kc and ruby & diamond for the boss so using bolt pouch would save me 1 invy space.
opinion: not all content has to be useful. it can be added to provide atmosphere and make the game feel less empty. general stores are dead content, examine text is dead content, the list goes on. but the world would feel empty without them
I use the bolt pouch... Not usually "necessary" but I do love it... My only complaint is.... You can see the equipped bolts in the pouch along with the others.. but to switch bolts you have to take them out, switch, put others in... Wish you could switch the equipped bolts straight inside the pouch...

As someone who just unlocked Bones to Peaches for diary, I vote Mage Training Arena be killed off and sent to dead content graveyard. Make its rewards clue rewards and be done with it.

Its actually really good for end game ironman, thats 3 bank spaces saved. Bank space is a struggle end game.
The ship is part of the Medium Achievement Diary, so that's the only one I can imagine people still doing (like me a week ago).
I believe it's also part of the One Small Favour quest.

The pie one feels more like a farming contract. And as cool as it might be I don't think a cooking equivalent of mahogany homes would be very popular.
