I was at this game with my dad as a kid probably 9. When everybody started cheering Tebow Heisman i got chills so glad i got to have this memory with my dad.
Well.... in the year this game was played, UF DID have 4 losses. Plus they still have yet to obtain a perfect season. Though I REALLY wish the 2008 Gators could play the 2013 Seminoles to see who was the better team between these two great teams. I'm tired of all these one sided games we have been seeing for the past decade or so. Can't wait for both teams to be great again at the same time.
Well... since they will never play, that's only speculation. The 2013 FSU team was awesome and blew out everybody, even ranked top 10 teams. Though perfect seasons seemed to mean something to Saint Timothy who seemed to cry every time it didn't happen. Poor guy.

It looks as if UF looks at the bottom of the SEC rankings to pick its SEC opponents. Also, why does Florida NEVER play any out of conference teams that anybody has ever heard of? Hm?
What surprises me a little bit in FSU/Bowden Matchups with Florida/Meyer/Mullen, is, Bowden kind of invented the 'spread option'. It was known way back in the 60's and 70's and up thru the 80's (when we ran it at my HS, Chamberlain in Tampa) the 'Veer Option'. On offense designed to give programs with out the huge O Lines, a chance to move the ball using smaller, quicker, more agile O Linemen. Seems like Bowden and Co. could have been better prepared to play D vs this Offense.
We had some talent but theres no question that UF team (and the next couple UF teams for that matter) were head and shoulders above us in terms of overall talent. For every Geno Hayes or Preston Parker there was a guy that wouldn't sniff the rotation on our current team or UF's team at the time. Not going to single anyone out but any Noles know the guys im talking about.
This season and 08 were coaching. 09 in was talent and coaching. These two teams were well matched in the first half, as were the 08 teams, I didn't remember that. We just didn't adjust and tebow was so clutch.
Yeah, sure. Mmm hm. That's ASTOUNDINGLY accurate. The ACC didn't go 8-3 in bowl season. Virginia Tech didn't have an extremely exciting win over Arkansas 35-24. Georgia Tech didn't stomp on Kentucky 33-18, NC State didn't pound Vanderbilt 41-17, and most of all, Clemson SURELY didn't a thriller to beat Alabama 35-31 in one of the greatest National Championships at all time. The SEC's lone win over the ACC was LSU over Louisville and I credit LSU for that. Still, FSU is far from boring. Mind you we beat Michigan 33-32 in a thriller in the final bits of the 4th quarter. That wolverines team had the 2nd best defense in the country and we scored 33 points and Dalvin Cook was a BEAST. Shows you just how dynamic FSU football can be.

Believe it or not I'm actually a Maryland fan but I have relatives that root for the Noles. Still sad to see how far they've fallen. Not so sad for y'all though. Best of luck against Michigan I suppose. They're a piece of work as you'll soon find.
I wish they would bring back the “F” at midfield and the 2 gator logos at the 35 yrd lines. Also I wish they would go back to the old number fonts they had on these jerseys because they look to bulky now
if we had a qb the game would have been 24 all at halftime. 4 fg's doesn't cut it. Y'all won fair and square but the talent difference wasn't much the difference was coaching and qb play. Just like it is in 2013, but in our favor. Go Noles!

FSU had a team that was definitely better in 2013!! Heck, even the 2010 and 2016 FSU teams were arguably better than the 2007 UF team.
