I let my emotions get the best of me and I'm genuinely sorry. I'll gladly come help you if I see you and your truck ever stuck again though!
Even though more was at stake in the previous decade or so, this was one of my favorite games of this rivalry. The Swamp is a hell of a place to play and it's always special to be able to get a W there
It’s also a special game because it was so poorly officiated that it is the game that led to the NCAA instituting the official review in college football.

It was like the ACC paid those refs, oh wait, the ACC did pay that officiating crew and it showed. So many bad calls. The refs did all they could to give FSU the win. Even with all the help the refs gave FSU, the Noles barely won. Florida was clearly the superior team that year. Still glad that Ron Zook didn't stay too long. Those pansies up in Illinois decided they liked how Ron Zook made Gators football suck and fall from grace and decided they want in on some Zook action. Just a bunch of fruits in Illinois that like losing, I assume.
No, the UF players just liked continuing as if the play wasn't over. 1. 0:56 Forward progress stopped. 2. 2:44 Never had possession. 3. 3:30 Did you think he wasn't out? 4. 3:51 Not ruled a fumble. 5. 4:18 Fumble or not, FSU recovered the ball. 6. 8:48 Late hit on UF not called. 7. 9:19 No horsecollar call on the Rix fumble. 8. 10:00 Was that called a first down? Doesn't look like it was. 9. 11:32 Blatant holding by the RG, not called. 10. 11:44 Blatant movement by the UF #61, 74, 77, called offsides on FSU. Free set of downs and a closer FG. 11. 12:56 That was a TD with the stretch called down by the ACC refs. You're just mad because UF didn't win a game when they had their chances. All you have to do is hold FSU to under 34 points. It's not that hard, but UF couldn't do it. UF fans and players are the biggest babies when they losing, shooting double-birds at opposing fans, crying about how they outgained FSU in 2011, spitting at FSU players when they're down 37-7 or 30-7 in the 4th, gouging out Georgia and Georgia Southern players' eyes when they feel like it, etc.

Vern was good with the call, but the announcers were so one sided. The excitement when Florida would score, and the annoyance when FSU would do the same.

There were 4 or 5 that were the most obvious miscalls I had ever seen. I was there. Couldn't believe it.
