Yeah. Totally agree with the first caller. First started watching Avery some time last year and got alot of entertainment & interest into this genre of conversation. Watched Sam for awhile because he was featured on one of videos, I still do (for other topics) but his antics & talking back to the chat at random moments kind of turned me off. Anyways, heard alot about CP and his thumbnails looked interesting but whenever I clicked it just seemed kind of monotoned. I ended up actually becoming a fan of his eating up his videos. Til this year. Sad to say, the whole "Pope" thing utterly turned me off, where thankfully his videos don't show up on my feed nowadays. Even Bob. I still like his content but I rarely watch his stuff since that time (his view kind of hurt because I really appealed to his style & commentary on things besides Islam). What completely destroys the modalist argument is the fact that there’s a verse where Jesus tells his believers to be one in same way that he and the father are. So if Jesus is the father and the son. If God is 1 being and 1 person. Then we all as separate human beings would also have to be the exact same people which just isn’t the case.
But if you then instead plug in the trinitarian view, it fits perfectly because you see here that Jesus is saying that we should be one body of Christ, not that we merge together and become the same people, but that we are all distinct persons that make up this one body of Christ in union.

GodLogic, the easiest way to get the Trinity into the Unitarian head is with these two metaphors:
God is H2O... This can Manifest in Water, Ice and Steam... All three are equally H20 but each form is distinct and has individual qualities.
Or
Take a Peace lilly, separate it into three separate Pots. All are the same Flower, they are just in different vessels but they will now interact differently with their surroundings, will all individually need watering and caring for but all three came from the same Flower, they are both three and one.
Water isn't a good one since each form or mode or state requires an outside source. (Temperature). Avery and a few others use a great analogy with the sun. The sun exist and from it comes light and heat. No external sources acting on it and it stays away from the whole forms or modes or states.

Hello Avery, I don't understand why you don't use Genesis 18 for the Trinity. It says clearly that God appeared to Abraham as three men, and they all spoke to him and his wife Sarah.

The problem I find with the oneness or modolist concept of God existence is it's too close to what a human can conceive the divine to be like.
the father taking on role the of the Son and then the Son taking on the role of the Holy Spirit at different times in human history that would mirror something in creation like a person with multi-personalities
but the triune aspect of God where God exist in three persons sharing one devine essence there's nothing creation like that.
every human being has their own person hood
every created creature has their own person hood also there's nothing in creation that has one being sharing three persons.
So therefore nothing in creation is like it's Creator because what made us cannot be made or even understood by ordinary human thinking.
