Eric because you were an elite skater, I would do some explanations of basic AND more detailed information, explain scoring, or what the box on your screen means, then more technical info for those in the know about the sport, how to do a triple jump…. You have so many levels of knowledge to share! Congrats!
Congrats on passing this milestone! I subbed when this channel was having a tenth of its current subscriber. Hope to see more figure skating analytical videos or more podcast kinda videos. But you can do whatever you like, it's your channel and I don't mind with the sporadic videos.
I'm hoping Starr Andrews will still be around 4 years from now. Hopefully she can do what people like Simone Biles and Dominique Dawes did for gymnastics. I don't recall any black American skaters between the time Debi Thomas skated until the time Starr Andrews debuted.

Would something like a figure skating club work? Where you're not directly paying the coach, you have a club membership, and all the coaches are paid salaries by the club? It would probably still be too expensive for most people, since swim clubs are usually all white, but it would probably be less expensive than paying $100 an hour for lessons.

I have a humorous poll question: how many skaters have accidentally failed to remove their hard guards before getting on the ice, taking a funny but embarrassing tumble? Maybe it’s just clumsy me, though I have seen skater friends similar guard goofs.
