Aside from struggling to hold the saber with the left hand, the figure does everything it needs to do. The nailed Tyranus and it’s just great. Strong candidate for figure of the year and we barely started.
I totally agree, a VERY strong candidate for that title!! I was a bit annoyed by the loose grip on the left hand, it's not awful, but I might try to heat it up, and mold it into a tighter grip. ✨🤘😁🤘✨

Gotta say, I was one of the people saying that the old Dooku was good enough, and I was only excited for the new one for the fact it was our first new Prequel figure in 2.0. But now that I have him in hand, I know how wrong I was. This figure is an absolute marvel and makes me really want more all-new Prequel mains in TVC. Dooku completely blows every previous version to smithereens. Also, him being able to sit so well with the plastic skirt makes me want his Solar Sailer finally. It's pretty unlikely tho.
Yeah I am still quite amazed how brilliant this figure is!! It force crushed all previous versions into nothing. I am certainly getting a few of these for my displays! Really glad you ended up really liking him 🤘😁✌️

They say good things come to those who wait. That looks really good and the most definitive you can ever get. I know I have no room for a collection to display right now but seeing this figure immortalised at long last makes me tempted to find any bit of space I have left and if I find it I would pick this guy up and put him there. It's Christopher Lee man he's got to be in the collection represented in the best way possible. I'd do the same for Tarkin if they made one of him.
The Dooku character and Christopher Lee I always liked as growing up with this trilogy and LOTR at the same time it gave him a career revival to my generation and showed he still had it when it came to playing villains. But I've really grown to like him and the character more over the years it's the same with Peter Cushing and Tarkin. I've gone back to some of their older films when they were younger with Hammer Horror and they're great. Seeing them in their prime.
It's interesting the kinds of characters you gravitate when your younger. Growing up you'd probably gravitate towards in terms of heroes like Luke or Anakin or Obi-Wan or Ahsoka if you grew up on Clone Wars like I did and in terms of villains it'd be Vader or Maul or I guess Boba even if it's debatable if he can be called a villain in the films but he had a cool design and I remember liking him as a kid for that reason.
But now as I got older my two favourite villains are Dooku and Tarkin these older guys. Some of it is them as actors but I think they are characters you appreciate their role and how they are played when you get older. You appreciate the politician and tactician in them that makes them stand out from a powerhouse like Vader. But you also become more interested in the role they play and the tragedy of Dooku in particular. That's what made those Tales of the Jedi episodes so great.
The Separatist faction is also one I've grown to appreciate as I've got older because you again start to understand their place in the war and how Sidious used both them and the Republic and the stories they've done with them post Clone Wars seeing how they survive in Bad Batch or how people react to them in the post Empire era that there are still some left like in Mandalorian it's all interesting. How people saw Dooku as a leader and thought he had their best interests at heart even though he was in on the master plan for the Sith to take control but of course he didn't know he too would be replaced such is the way of the Sith.
Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Great review. Looking forward to the next one.
The possibility of you finding a small section of space to display this Dooku figure really excites me!! That's so cool! He's such a remarkable figure and update, not to mention it's a spectacular representation of Christopher Lee, Hasbro really nailed that likeness. That's really cool that you're going back and checking out some of those films, I need to do that myself. I think a lot of the talent displayed by these characters and actors really shine later in life when we can visually analyze it better. I also have found a strong appreciation for Dooku's character after the Tales of the Jedi episodes, and needless to say I really want a Young Dooku figure!! ✨🙌😎🙌✨
@@ToysAreTheWay Yeah man. I wish I could have a full room display like you and build a world but life just isn't working in a way where I can't at the moment. Someday I hope to and if I did you'd be one of the first I tell.
But seeing this figure and how good it is and how it represents one of my favourite characters and actors it's one I definitely need. If I'm only able to have one new figure at the moment then it's going to be this one maybe again Tarkin if he's made.
So yeah I will try and find a small space and pick him up and then someday maybe he'll be followed by more if life allows me to display again.
I think most of us would make the exception for one favourite character or two if we knew we didn't have much room anymore for display. It'd be like if Tyler had to put his collection away but even if he did I know he'd still find somewhere for Thrawn to sit.

Yeah bro this is a fantastic looking figure I just ordered another one two days ago from Game Stop and they said that the clone trooper in this wave should be there next week it's in transit the guy said fingers crossed. Hey where did you order Dooku from Game Stop???

Heck yeah man, I have a few of them ordered as well. He's all around awesome, and a much needed upgrade. I actually got this Dooku from Pulse, along with some Clone Troopers. I originally got Finn and Cassian from GameStop, and they just delivered more Clones today...my Dookus have yet to ship out from them. Kinda not a fan of how they shipped them out in batches. 😎🤘

@@ToysAreTheWay what we also need are more prequel Jedi. Pablo Jill (3.75 black series), Coleman Trebor ( legacy collection geonosis arena) have been released previously. And these figures still hold up well. They just need to be slapped on a TVC card. Of course we still need other aliens as well.. Jedi council members.
