Sounds like an ideal troop, builder pack, getting four different sandtroopers with four different weathering patterns and Paul drones, and even four different different weapons.

Sandtroopers are a fantastic design. I'd agree that we need a carded one with a Dewback AND a 4 pack. Add it to the garage Hasbro!

1994 before Star Wars popular again … went a stormtrooper for Halloween ….rubber mask white sweats shirt/pants …. One guy knew what I was and it blow his mind … always love stormtroopers

Great video. It just shows how many awesome variants of the Stormtrooper that Hasbro have given us, especially in TVC2.0. I love all of them.
The Artillery trooper is one of my favorite. I have made a home made board game using this action figure as the star in it. Droids also feature in the add on game to this figure.
I'd like to know a little more about this game you made. What's the premise?
@@equesfuscus The game is a Artillery trooper training game. With another stormtrooper or two of the same or other kind it can be played at different stations competitively. One to three could play keeping score of how they did at each station. I would like to add another game play aspect to it although it's playable as is.

GREAT video Tim!! Thoroughly enjoyed this one. The Shadow Stormtrooper (all black - not glowing) is one of the oldest if not THE oldest Expanded Universe troopers, appearing in vintage comics way back in the “Gambler’s World” 1979 comic, also known as Blackhole Stormtroopers. I forgot about VC171, that is a GREAT cardback! Have to disagree about the VC112 Sandtrooper. Great card back, but that Stormtrooper sculpt and particularly the helmet are 🤮. Imagine a new Sandtrooper commander using the new definitive sculpt with a cardback featuring the scene where the Sandtroopers have just been pointed to the docking bay by your favorite - Garindan!- and they’re walking down the alley. “Alright men, load your weapons!” That would be a GREAT cardback, the Commander up front with the column of Sandtroopers behind him. And of course, VC231 HAD to be the winner. 😁 - Tyler
I love that Rogue One Stormtrooper! I recently bought it! Such a nice sculpt!
I love that you take the cardback into account, as do I. The figure is important, but the Kenner card is a vital part of why I collect. When the new Stormtrooper comes out this year, you're going to have to do this same video again +1, so you'll have an oppotunity to re-arrange some of those that you were having second thoughts about in the pecking order.
I think the stormtrooper will just be my number 1 reissued

Great list. Think you did well with the rankings. Regrettably, I never found your #1 choice with a clean card back because it was a disgusting Walmart exclusive. I ordered like 10 of them and gave up because every single card was arriving bent, ripped, creased, veiny, smashed bubbles, bubbles falling off, ugh…. Then Entertainment Earth got them and I ordered 5 more and even all of theirs arrived damaged. So on one hand I never got that figure on a decent card. But on the other hand, I have an army of them on my shelves. Cheers!

Great list. The Shadowtrooper VC 163 is an awesome figure. I would love Hasbro to release a 4 pack of them with the proper ankles!

Loved all the little poses you got Bossk into throughout the video, nice touch - your choices pretty much echo my thoughts on the TK's and I too await the definitive Sandy...but it has to be done correct to Episode IV - not the remastered versions, but hey-ho we can't have everything
Love this series. The only issue with the RO stormtrooper is that ridiculously small font on the name pill.
Incinerator and Commander were the right way around imo. That blue look is amazing
They did that blue Commander way earlier in the line too...was it TVC1.0? Can't remember, but I know I found like 4x of them after I got a couple on the new release and wasn't all that happy about it. Haha Fantastic fig, but I dont want 6 of them

I was after the Minban Trooper for a few years in the UK. It came out in that time when Hasbro distribution was terrible and sometimes, really expensive. I got one eventually, but it cost well over £30.00 (I can't remember the exact price) and the cost really spoilt my enjoyment of the figure. Thankfully, distribution at least has significantly improved.
Really liked this video..I have them all closed in starcases... Now I want to open these 14 stormtroopers and put them on a shelf!

We really should of had vc231 stormtrooper in the 4 pack of stormtroopers. They announced that figure after the 4pk had been released. Both of them in 2022. I did see EE has vc231 trooper back up for pre-order today when I checked. Also funny coincidence...have empire on now and when you were going over the stormtrooper on the empire cardback, I was right at the carbon freeze chamber scene 🍻
A bad batch stormtrooper needs to be made. See the evolution of the stormtrooper from the beginning. This is definitely my favorite animated series. Taking place at the beginning of the empire. Shadows of Tantiss episode,when Palpatine walked off his shuttle after the Imperial Guards, brought it back to some rotj feel. The stormtrooper line up. Loved it and the guards animation was absolutely incredible. It's a great story line and I'm not big on getting figures from animated series. But I would love the crew and more. Too bad the series is coming to an end and we have only Hunter

What I love about the VC112 Sandtrooper is that the E-11 blaster has a folding stock! As far as I know, that's the only time a folding stock has been done for that accessory. Truly, the figure would be sold as a TVC Deluxe these days, with all the accessories that are included (the rifle, folding stock E-11, and sentry droid)...
The 3.75” Black series stormtrooper came with that E-11 rifle and so did one of the snow troopers, but I don’t remember which version it was.
I wish Hasbro would put that same amount of effort into giving us the definitive TIE Fighter Pilot, Biker Scout, AT-AT Driver, Snowtrooper, etc., that they put into giving us the definitive Stormtrooper.
I definitely agree with your number 1 pick. I actually bought an entire case of that particular figure.

@@ryanstallard1160 well, technically there is no TVC AT-AT Driver. The closest we have is the Legacy figure from 2009, which just looks terrible. Especially the helmet sculpt, which absolutely did NOT need to be a removable helmet with a clone head underneath (and the helmet doesn’t even cover the entire head). The articulation is also outdated, compared to today’s figures.
The current Biker Scout is alright, but the sculpt is over a decade old and, again, the articulation is outdated. I know they recently resculpted the helmet to make it larger, but it would still be better if they just started over again from scratch.

Vc171 is a great cardback
At the start of this video- do hope at the end you go over a few of the variants, a red version is an EU "Royal guard stormtrooper outfit" very easy exclusive figure imo.. should be less wanted.
And hopefully you list the other stormtrooper variants still a lot of these we need, would love a video going over which older figures need updates! scraiff and some others really need rockers..!

Question about the 50-80$ range play sets . What do you feel would be good chooses for next 3 play sets ? One I would love would be a Mandalor Theone room (could have lot of showdown like Pre Vizla Vs Maul, Sidious Vs Mail and Savage and Ahsoka Vs Mail)
And what would be your n1 choose for a “Jabbas Thone room” playset type thing?

It ain't going to happen, but nice to imagine. It'd have to be a Haslab project and that won't happen. There are other starfighters that are needed more than a redone Slave 1. But we do need a new U wing.
Hasbro needs to update the hips and the shoulder pads.
I have the sand trooper Vc14 and some loose versions I have the remnant stormtrooper carded and loose and carbonite version I have the incinerator trooper carded and loose I have force unleashed trooper carded and a loose one and the artillery trooper
I had no idea that the vc had so many stormtroopers palpatine would be proud the only one I have is the carbon freeze trooper do to rising prices
I thought we'd have a red shock trooper stormtrooper by now, ah well.
An update of the new hope space trooper with the new mold and the jedha patrol stormtrooper would be nice Are these too much to ask?

My fav is the scout trooper just awesome figure to be honest in my opinion
the Mimban trooper i have zero of, i would've liked some but the price went up after i knew they existed- basically started buying retail as solo/rogue one stuff started to come out, and i hadn't been following anywhere online.. so i saw these existed after - well after i could've found them in stores :(
i recall getting K2S0 and Wolffee from a physical store as some of my first figures back into the retail line, most of what i got previously were second hand bulk figure deals (as i collected TCW they were all second hand by time i got them)
I'd really like a new mimban. (as well as tank commander/driver from rogue one) top of my list of reissues though i'd love an ankle fix.
Incinerator trooper really needs a stand for the flame, i have them balanced on pill bottles.. i really need some kind of 3d printed flame stand in clear plastic.
I also have a huge number of the mini gun stormtrooper from fallen order because i took the mini guns which are clone trooper miniguns, so they had their weapons stolen as i had spare e-11's
Yeah i have a pile of the blast effects and the shield lmao almost the same height as a figure.
i think the one thing you really didn't mention was the E-web stormtrooper deluxe, i dunno if elsewhere but in NZ we got those for half price, so less than retail cost for the same stormtrooper as the mini gun figure without the pauldron and with that E-web so i got like 10, they're mostly just normal stormtroopers, that and the mini gun boosted my plain stormtrooper ranks by like 30.
Yeah I dont tend to include deluxes as they arent on a card and the accessories give them an unfair advantage

Black series using a new hip joint that doesn't have thigh swivel, like to see it in tvc it make leg look natural
The reasons I don't like it are, there is no other figures anywhere in the market place without the thigh swivel. If you want a Death Trooper or an ARC Trooper etc. Another reason I don't like them is years ago they had a 12 inch figure that had the proper thigh armor attached to the leg properly. It was actually not attached to the leg, but you could move it up or down independently. If they made them then why can't they do it now, I say at least make it for the 6 inch figures. I understand the 3.75 scale could be too small. The way it looks now the leg looks awful and hard to work with. It makes no sense to me that it's only 3.75 action figure that I'm only going to display on a shelf.
Sand trooper way too high! That sculpt sucks.
But if they did that one correctly…..it would be the best by a mile. Way above everything else.
