    Another great video, Scott! 👍
    I’m off to clean up a mess. I have a Stihl MS361 in pieces on my table.
    Coffee time, a new video from Scott and off to work I go!
    Happy Thanksgiving 😊

    346 is the best saw ive ever got.. Still going strong. In Finland we dont usually need so long bars, wh2n working in eforest 13,14 15 "" are suitable.

      Around here there is a sort of cult following for the 346xp. If I get one it only takes one or two phone calls to sell it.

    You always make it look so easy Scott, I still think it easier to remove the carbs on Stihl equipment though

    Thanks for sharing your tubing removal tool idea with us. I have a Husky 353 that has been one of my favorite small saws. My only issue has been the "two disk" fuel tank vent system. Wish I could replace that with something better. It has a tendency to leak as you replace the filler cap despite having been replaced.

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I guess I'm not familiar with a two disc vent. What I recall is a white vent on the right side of the saw with a hose connected to it that runs to the carb area.

    In putting the gasket and diaphragm back on the metering side I saw where u put some extra gaskets on I've never seen that before. I've only rebuilt a few carburetors at this point so why the extra gaskets??? Great video Thanks

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      There is an extra plate/spacer on that side that is part of a system that allows the metering diaphragm to vent to the air filter, rather than a hole in the metal plate.

    Cool tool Wednesday! Every now and then you can find a box of old tools at yard sales/flea markets that can be repurposed. Good stuff. You mentioned on one of your latest videos that you deal in Echo products. Never see'em on the bench. Not too many problems or just don't sell many? 👍🍻

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Its true that we sell way less Echo product than Husqvarna but its also true that the Echo line has a five year warranty mostly because they hold up well.

    Love these saws! I did the ZAMA C3 EL-42 swap out, tried drilling the hole in the Walbro 199A Metering Diaphragm Cover Plate with no luck. Runs sweet now with the ZAMA. Erica sent me one of those fuel line removal tools, definitely worth using versus a screwdriver! Happy Thanksgiving!!

    I don't recall ever seeing so many gaskets on the metering diaphragm side of the carb. I thought it was one gasket and then the diaphragm only. Am I missing something?

    • @TheGreasyShopRag
      @TheGreasyShopRag  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So if you look around the 6:06 mark you'll see the metering diaphragm plate doesn't have a vent hole. The plastic spacer is actually part of a diversion system that allows the diaphragm to vent to the air filter. There is an extra gasket because of the spacer.
