Let me know what are your favourite low glycemic foods or meals! 😋💚 And if you're new to this concept, go and learn what the low glycemic diet is all about and why it is important to keep your blood sugar stable th-cam.com/video/rhD7811rMnI/w-d-xo.html
Great video! I would never think to add edamame to a salad, but what a great idea. I’ll definitely try that. The flax and chia seed porridge will be perfect for me to try in the morning. I absolutely love your me time walk and such a beautiful view.
Thank you so much for this video:) It's so informative yet calming (in particular, I appreciate there's no loud music blasting randomly) - just what I needed. I have a pretty healthy vegan diet, but some health problems surfaced recently and made it clear I did not take care of my blood sugar levels as I should. I was concerned about having to follow a boring and overly strict diet, but you showed how easy and yummy it can be to be vegan and eat low glycemic! Do you have any extra recommendations for people who have ibs too? Hope you have a great day ❤
Thank you for your feedback! I'm a calm person by nature 🙈😊 Actually even more than in the videos 🤪 Anyway, I'm so glad that you found this video helpful! In case you have IBS, you might benefit from going low FODMAP for some time (usually 6 weeks). Watch this video (if this is interesting to you) th-cam.com/video/1yuPfwGlY74/w-d-xo.html and maybe download my guide to FODMAPs bit.ly/fodmap-food-guide To learn more about IBS and other gut issues I highly recommend the book Fibre Fuelled. Wishing you all the best! 🤗
I think you have put a lot of thought in your presentation. Thank you. Your information is very valuable. I'm on my new journey eating low glycemic foods. Thanks! Angela
That soup is something similar to what I have made today its soooo good, I am currently trying to lose weight so I have started the cabbage soup diet but I will definitely include this in as well as its so easy to go off the diet
I'm glad you're inspired! Or you could eat whole food plant-based and the weight will drop naturally 😊 I'd advise to be cautious with diets like cabbage soup diet as there's simply not enough variety to get all the nutrients your body needs. All the best! 💚
Thank you! Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, collards, kale, mustard greens, Swiss chard, and other greens are loaded with highly absorbable calcium. Beans, sesame seeds, and cinnamon are also rich in calcium. I suggest this article for you www.pcrm.org/good-nutrition/nutrition-information/health-concerns-about-dairy/calcium-and-strong-bones

I am really struggling! my BMI is 18.2 and I wanna gain weight because I look like 12 even though I'm in my late 20's. I eat mainly according to WFPB. This past 2 week I've used a CGM (I'm healthy) to test what I eat. The first days my blood sugar was very good, but the past few days everything has caused a spike of 8 mmol/L or higher. :( I tried to reduce the amounts of what I eat but it still doesn't seem to work! My fasting blood sugar is very good however, in the 4's. I don't know what to eat anymore! I workout almost every day at home as my school is online right now. But when I get back to school, and even now that I am busy with school work iI don't really have much time to go for walks after my meals even though I know it's good. My feet has been hurting since last year also from trying to walk more. I also don't have time to make my own breads etc. and I tried one of your low GI oatmeals but unfortunately I didn't like the taste :/ They say this diet (grains, legumes, veggies, fruits and seeds (I can't eat nuts)) should prevent type 2 diabetes but now I don't know anymore!!
Hi! Try adding seeds to your meals. Also berries to your morning porridge (if you eat porridge). Watch this video th-cam.com/video/rhD7811rMnI/w-d-xo.html on how to lower the glycemic load of certain starchy foods and other tips/tricks. Tofu, tempeh and edamame beans great low glycemic foods with high protein content.
@@nutriplanet Thank you! I'll check out the video. I have tried adding avocado and seeds, even tahini to my foods but it didn't seem to help much. Although I have about 15 g of fat with each meal, but usually a bit less. I'm scared to add even more since people say fats is what causes insulin resistance. Should I be worried? Also, since I have a peanut allergy I'm not sure I can tolerate soy products apart from soy milk (due to a lower concentration of soy), but I guess I could try.

This looks great but it’s just too bespoke and complex for me but maybe that indicates the problem with my lifestyle
When does your book come out? 🙏🏻
Hi Breana! I'm so happy to hear you're interested! It's a lot of work 😁 Hopefully within a year 🤞
