Thanks for watching and your feedback. I agree...I've been using this knife for over a week now and that's probably the one thing I'm not a fan of so far. I'll be making a follow up video after having more time to use this knife in the very near future, where I'll list out the pros and cons, as I see them, with this knife.

I always wanted a metal olfa/snap off knife like this, but I find the wheels are just too fiddly. Knives are usually used quickly and often for me, so to use two hands to carefully and slowly open the knife each time is a no-go, compared to the click style deployment.

Its hard to beat an olfa, I found the wheel nice to use, but not when the blade is brand new for the same reason as you

@@balinoob1837 The best I've used so far is the knipex cuttix. Pricey, but the extendable blade stiffener gives it a lot more utility.

Thanks for watching and your feedback. I agree...the twist knob lock and unlock makes using this knife a bit "slow". So far, that's the main thing I'm not a fan of with this knife. I'll be making a follow up video to outline the pros and cons as I've seen them in using this knife, after I've had more time to use it in more situations.

The flat blade gets in the way of regular razor knife use

Thanks for watching and the input. I've noticed that as well, in that you'd have to extend the blade further than on a more traditional style knife. I'm still undecided on it though whether the flat blade on the front is a pro or a con...
