    Here's what I found helpful.
    In the "Servos" Tab:
    If they go reverse, change "Direction and rate" from +100 to -100
    If they exceed maximum wanted deflection reduce min/max
    If control surfaces is not perfectly centered adjust servo midpoint. (This is after setting them up as close as possible mechanically )
    Note: In the Servos tab servos are counted from 0-7 while in the Motors tab they run from 1-8.

      Fixed wing can not auto land. It can not become mass product for the surveillance state tool. Hence, there is no money to be made in fixed wing.

    I always need to use "Servo Tilt" to get my beeper that's mounted on the PDB working.
    You're right, it's quite complicated to setup, I couldn't just explain it to my buddy.
    I hooked up only the signal wire to a motor pad and played around with remapping and all... It's a hassle.

    I just saw this I’m trying to do same thing but how do you connect servo to FC do you add the signal wire to uart then how do you add the servo to a switch in OpenTx. I’m using a crossfire nano RX how do you set up a switch to operate PWM SERVO my fc is on a quad not a wing.

    A year ago I tried setting up a servo using a naze32, to control a 3axis gimbal. Eventually I gave up. The naze was a terrible decision, and then my gimbal just decided to stop working, so the project was dead. Maybe now I can revisit the issue, since betaflight and f4boards are much better at handling pwm outputs.

    So true man half the stupid crap that happens with this quad crap I feel alienated from, so I ask you or someone who would know the answer, but before I receive a reply I often fix it myself leaving me feel stupid for asking lol

    Thanks JB for your video! If I want install an FC without channel output (span pro f4) on a single motor wing...in your opinion how can I use motor output 2 and 3 (or 3 and 4) for the servos? Can I tab resource on CLI, copy the ports on servos 1 and 2 to motor 2 and 3 resource? That all? Thanks in advance. Sorry if is not clear.

      It is possible to map outputs to servos, but as you can see in this video, It's challenging to do. In Betaflight, it may not work at all. In later versions of iNav, it's actually easier than you see here.

I've got a single motor Bixler that I'm using a Kakute F4 with INAV and trying to use motor pad 1 for motor and then pads 2,3,4 for servo output. I've got heavy jitter from my servo and burnt one out already but I do have "control" in the output tab. I speculated it was from the ESC refresh rate being at 400hz and the servo being 50hz so after replacing the servo in the plane, I dropped the ESC refresh to 50hz and still have the servo jitter and immediate heat from it. Currently I'm stumped and searching every forum and video for any additional information on the subject. lol Cheers from California :D

    the quickest is to remove half of all first. if it stops, its one of the ones you turned off. if not, its one of the ones you didnt, etc. sorting stuff is fun!

    I want to use a single servo on BetaFlight for FPV camera tilt up & down that is controlled by the gyro. Any idea how that's done? I've tried watching many other TH-cam videos to figure this out with no success.

      Feature servo_tilt will do this, although there is more setup than just enabling that feature.

    Hi Joshua Having a problem connecting in INAV. i have flashed the correct firmware , i am connected to com8, selected my board and latest INAV issue, but won't connect to the confiurator, it times out after 10 seconds, Any ideas or advice would be very welcome

      If you just flashed the board and now you can't connect, the most likely cause is that you accidentally selected the wrong board type ("target") when you flashed. The fix is to re-flash using the correct target. Before you flash, I always advise going to the CLI and typing "version". This will show you what target is on your board and make sure you flash the right one.

    A slightly faster method than removing one at a time would be to remove half, then repeat until you get just one. Good troubleshooting though guys.

    Are the servo settings in this video the same as the servo settings in inav Version 7.1 or later? I have a Runcam Mini FVP Dvr, which has a pin for the on/off button, namely the H/L pin. so can I use the servo Pin where I use a flight controller, Speedybeey F405 V3. where there are empty pins, namely: Pins M5, M6, M7, M8, TEL, S9, SBUS. If all the pins can be used for the on/off button via the settings in Inav 7.1, is it programmed by setting the servo settings? a little information, my Runcam Mini DVR can only record 5 minutes. and I have used all the buttons on my remote. Can I use the Arming button for switch button settings in the DVR recording mode that I have?

      Inaz 2.0 does have a better set up but i can't get 100% movement when the gyro is activated by pitch or roll movement.

    It's easy but different. I've tried servos on betaflight with no luck and yes I know about pin mapping And resource mapping and mixers. I couldn't get the servos to show on the motors tab nor get output and do not know why.

      Inav devs decided not to use resource mapping like betaflight because it's too easy to have timer conflicts and they didn't want complaints and wasted time responding to users. So they alot 2 outputs for motors and servos are numbered according to the motor pin numbers. They don't call them servo pins. Unfortunately I'd you happen to have motor outputs on the same base timer other than 1 and 2 then you might have to set the motor to pwm and use the same frequency for both.

    Unrelated topic, but I downloaded betaflight recently on a new laptop and forgot to download the drivers but it still works. Only realized I didn’t download the drivers until after. Anyone else experience this?

      rory oconnell I have one even stranger......I put Betaflight on a new computer and forgot to install the drivers.......it connected fine to one of my quads .........but another quad I have it wouldn’t connect to 🤔......had me at a serious loss because I had forgotten all about the drivers hahahahahahahaha

      yea, but you still cant resource to pins, the resource listing nothing changes assignment when redoing motors and servos in the GUI, nor can u assign them to where u want to solder em??? Still have to play the guessing game, am I not correct?

      strangeskull ha, helping by ridicule and making fun of a poor honest mistake buying the wrong motors once. I went to him for advise on what I could do with them instead of my original plan and he basically just laughed. Josh may be helpful on video but his personality is that of I'm better and smarter than you so I'm amused kind of person.

    I soldered off my M1 pad on my brand new Betaflight F4 board. Tried for months to get servos to work and move motor to other pads. This shit is so ridiculous donteven try it people. I have a delta wing setup with no working servos. Its a fuckin joke to move around and setup and VERY complicated microchip wise(PWM and Timers and I do this shit as a hobby AVR in C and still can't getit to work.
