Coilovers are more for racing. Had two types of coilovers and the drive was too hard for my taste. I went to 50mm drop springs with new shocks. Best choice I made. Now the car doesn't drive hard and doesn't bounce, its smooth.
It could be depending on the type of coilover you’re using and brand. Not all coilovers are meant for track use and the bouncing comes due to missmatched shock and spring rates. Sometimes the problem comes from removing bumpstops or even just getting rid of the helper spring to go lower. Regardless of all this, if drop springs works for you and gives you the desired outcome you were looking for, then that’s what we like to hear. (Un)fortunately for me, my shocks are old so I’ll go full coilover upgrade

Does decating a 1.4 polo make any difference in terms of power gain?
3-5kw probably, a decat and branch can get you to 65kw on a 1.4 polo

yeah u will have to dyno it but you won't really feel it on the road tho yu will need to remap the car
It will improve responsiveness and your butt dyno might tell you it’s faster, but I’d suggest doing a remap to take full benefit of the decat exhaust
