Well it's more the government. If it was cheaper to employ and pay native British people, they wouldn't bother with illegals. But it's not. It's the same business elsewhere don't worry.
Like to pay a simple employee, you have to make insane profits. And then you still just pay minimal wage. Ie.: the employee will most likely steal from you and will be displeased about the paycheck. It's a vicious cycle and I have no idea why governments do this. Like I just can't figure it out.

I was once denied entry to the U.K. because I lied about why I was visiting (I was nervous) I thought no one would believe me that I was here to see a woman I had met online. This, coupled with my extreme social anxiety was immense. I was interrogated for over 8 hours about my entire life, which at this point I told the truth about literally every aspect of my life. I was placed in a cell with others and had to share a phone. I also DID NOT have a return ticket because I had wanted to purchase a ticket whilst there. Ultimately, I was able to prove I had the money for a ticket, I was able to prove that I knew this woman, and that I wasn't trying to stay in the UK. I was allowed to enter the country and I left when I said I would. Ultimately, it was worth it, but I won't ever go back. DON'T LIE

first of all, its hard work low temprture work place frozen or cold chicken to work with u hands, long working hours, many locals wont do that for living. secondly, shitty pay, u may think the pay is low, but for them its enough for living, they have no choice.last, u work in this industry for feww years, your body will suffer with different illness just good it....the employer knows they are illegal, so thay can do whatever they want, pay or under pay even sold them out to immis avoid paying them.

Of course you need money to go to a different country if you live super far away, but you only need to afford the price of the plane ticket and accomodations while you're staying. Also, you don't need ANY money if you're visiting a neighboring country and just drive there for the day, americans and canadians do it all the time.
If 10 years incarceration followed by deportation were to consequence of being caught trying to sneak in, the attempts would probably dwindle.
The thing is incarceration requires resources. Which country would be the one responsible for it? There's only so much space that they can "afford" to put up the prisoners. Especially if they're illegal immigrants. The most that countries can do, is to deport them back, refuse entry, etc.

If it were broadcast across the globe that there were a harsh punishment awaiting those who try to sneak in, the number of attempts would likely reduce quite dramatically. Considering that most illegal immigrants on average also tend to cost their new host country more money than they generate, and also need to be housed, temporary incarceration followed by deportation may very well be less expensive than letting them stay, all the while setting an example to those considering making the attempt to enter. Simply deporting them would be like a slap on the wrist, there must be a more tangible punishment for the crime. If I'm not mistaken, many illegal immigrants also tend to destroy there passports and identification before entry so that customs can't identify them or their place of origin, making deportation difficult at best.

I spoke to a lady from Mexico. Her English was very good, so I, politely, asked her why she left her children behind. I will never forget her words about how much it hurt when her firstborn was very sick. She could not afford to buy the medicine, and her child died. She asked me a rhetorical question: when the second child became ill, was she supposed to watch him die, or come to America, get a job and send money so that her child would live? I understood, perfectly, why she was here. I expressed my condolences for her deceased child and I said I hope your other child is well.
In most Asian countries Graduate mean Bachelors and Post Graduate means Masters. We call college and they call school. For us School is from 1st standard to 10th and college starts after 2 years of plus one - two/higher secondary.. They need some training on that part.
