My BX500 reads speed are still 500mb/s but unfortunately the write speeds drastically dropped to 15-30mb/s can you help me 😢😢 why it happen any solution
@@legitcrack6438 Hey, Should I go for a dram ssd for OS purposes? Will 256 gb be enough or should I go for a 500 gb variant? I also intend to use my original HDD for storage purpose. So just for OS, should I go for Bx500 or MX500?
@@066_mohdkasibsiddiqui2 more storage much better but iif ou have Nvme slot then go for NVme m.2 they are far better then this , but if you want for casual gaming atleast go for 1tb , even 500gb not enough you dotnget 500gb its around 488gb or below i think.

try writing to it. Its the worse shit drive I ever had. The cache never clears, so once you fill the SLC you are looking at 20mb write speed for the rest of the drive. what a garbage drive. Get the samsung QVO instead they work

Yes indeed no difference, the only real difference is the price and warranty. The BX comes with 3 years instead of 5 years. That's what makes BX cheaper.
@@mumblic the bx version also doesn't have DRAM which is nice to have if you plan to install your OS on this SSD. buy a cheap MX SSD for your OS and BX SSDs for game storage
Is there any difference in OS loading time? At $15 more is the MX500 a better buy? Thanks!
Not much big difference
4K random read seeming better with BX500. So it might make sense why games and OS can load faster.

because of dram less . try to maintain 80gb free space all time
Those drives are garbage, save the headache and replace it with something better.

Get atleast 500gb.
Dram or less doesn't matter much in real-time. Usage
@@OdinHardware but people in the comments have mentioned that DRAMless tend to underperform in the long run. The write speed drops significantly.
@@066_mohdkasibsiddiqui2 Nahhh don't listen to them. What's important is its much faster than hdd and affordable.

Yes will work

What do u say specially for gaming which one should I consider dram or dram less
Anything is okay, not a major difference in my experience
do not get bx for gaming, youll stutter like mad. Those drives are absolute garbage
@@legitcrack6438 what about the MX500?
temperature while playing games? how many degrees bro
Both are fine. Should be less than 60 deg depending on your case
