Lol it's dimensionally identical to the real 1p87 optic that is currently in use. And Russian optics, at least those that make it to the states, are notoriously unreliable. Who knows whether or not this Chinese clone is any good over time, but at least you can return it if it shows up dead on arrival.

4:16 I thought I've already forgotten all about the Russian I learned in college until this. Clockwise should be left (слева) while counterclockwise should be right (справа).
it looks cool-ish, but i never really found the eotech style "elevated" sights very appealing on AKs. for me, the lower you can place the optic to the top cover, the more "like it is supposed to work" it feels. then you don't have to add a 10cm riser to the buttstock
I did the tarkov thing on my Draco..I absolutely love it but to really get serious it's awkward and outdated. So I have a American bastard optics and lighting and then it's truly useful and lightweight

You still can if you want to risk customs stealing your package. Alternatively, Midwest industries apparently makes a clone of the zenitco stuff now if you can tolerate pigdog American aluminum on your glorious workers rifle.
Do you have a rail on the left side of your ak? Some aks have an optic rail on that side to slide on a weaver rail or scope onto that rail and it sweeps up to the top center. They are nice and return to zero mounts.
That’s not parallax though. Simply disappearing on the edge of the reticule isn’t a parallax issue. Parallax issues would be having the reticule off center towards one of the edges looking like it was on target but when you shoot it doesn’t actually shoot where the optic looks like it’s aiming.

I own a real 1P87 and a Novus clone and I found the Novus optic to be much more usable (The reticle was much brighter).
