One of my vanilla guild's proudest moments was defeating the Twin Emperors. It was an encounter we wiped and struggled at for such a long time and to defeat them was a very sweet victory. That epic moment in this video with the swinging of Kalimdor's Revenge is awe inspiring.
instead of a full episode of tales of the past, you should just do one battle, the one between arthas and blazer for example, tons of vfx potential there
One thing I'll say about WoW is that it's rarely actually made me feel like I was in a huge battle. This really did look like the War of the Shifting Sands! It truly felt like an ongoing battle! Good job!

Sometimes I think about how it would look if you took thousands of wow players and actually drew battle lines. To watch a rushing wave of enemies break upon the shield walls of a warrior line, arrows and spells flying past, and group heals struggling to keep the front line from falling. Then a scream in the distance. The rogues, druids, and mages beginning to flank the command corps of the enemy.
Incredible! The whole trailer captures the size of the Battle of AQ, and it really made me feel immersed in the conflict. It made the battle feel huge like it should. I’d love to see you do a trailer for the Siege of Orgrimmar.

I imagined Norzdomu and the infinite dragon flight to cause a reset, so we got the same beginning but with different outcomes. That the game's feel then would be closer to the old, going forward. ^^

Certainly, both had/have their downfalls. I certainly like my level 1 heirloom mount. When I'm leveling my 20th character through Elwynn Forest, I don't care to examine every tree like I did the last 19 times. Stop using the nostalgia lens as a viable way of judging the objective quality of the game. Just because you miss "the old days" doesnt mean they were inherently better. It probably meant you were significantly younger and life was all around easier, so looking back at anything during that time makes it better than it is now.
Cant really agree. played Vanilla as a kid, played retail from end of MoP to launch BfA, played vanilla on a private server, hands down, vanilla feels better. You only have to accept that leveling isnt a race to max level anymore, its a viable part of the game.
