I like the farm 🚜, the idea of different clothing (armour) for different jobs is turning out better than i had hoped. I still think the needy armour looks daft 😂
I actually enjoy the farming in this game and always try to implement it in my playthroughs. I also think finding a grilled meat once in a while would be cool, in all of my playthroughs I've never seen that ever lol, something new they added ?.
I like the farming for the most part too, but I actually prefer how farming was back in Alpha 16 where you could just use any top soil and use fertilizer to get more growth etc.
You reminded me I need to do some mining and farming...been putting it off because I was going to move base now i'm between day 35 horde and 42 horde I think morning of day 37 and I'm still at my starting base across a field from the hated rekt
You can craft seeds using the crop themselves. Or loot trash, loot seed stands, shovel up corn seed pallets etc. Then max out your Living Off The Land perk and you'll create a farm that creates enough seeds to replant while having a surplus of crops. You will have to craft some seeds as you won't get every seed back, but the crop yield on Living Off The Land level 3 means even after crafting seeds to replant you'll be left with plenty of crops for cooking.
For me 90 minute days makes the game too unbalanced, horde night goes on forever and game stage goes wonky because your days survived doesn't keep up with your level. But that's why the option is there, those who like it can use it!
I play on 120 minute days and 14h daytime, specially because it forces you to make good use of nights and make them actually a thing. But in orden to keep balance you have to set hordes much more frequently. I set them in 3 days plus 1 random day of delay, so the average time between hordes (and by extension my potential Game Stage increase between them) stays similar to vanilla

farming with new armor update is awesome! It's like roleplaying in game.
Nice!

the shovel thing annoyed me because it is considered a mining tool according to miner 69er but not with the armor set
Yeah I was a bit surprised by that

Not the sort of neighbour to borrow a cup of sugar from
Got a ton of farm plots and would love a ton of crops but how do I get enough seeds?!?

@@The-Two-Five ok gonna try that out. I felt like crafting was a bit counter productive haha
started new map wit all default.. 60 min days are too short imo
