I had medium armor( the full assassin set T3) and I took a few hit before I went down. One of those moments where ya get stuck trying to get out. Sucked. That knife run was great too.
NO25, I just finished the day 14 horde, and I noticed 2 things: 1, could have been just my rng, but I had tons of dogs....like tons. 2nd, I can confirm the horde can be beaten before 4am. I finished it at 2:40.
You started me using the elevated base in front of trader. That's my go to spot in every biome. Don't move, just elevate or close it in to protect stations and storage.
I'll definitely do that again in future, it's my normal go to, but just to be slightly different I'll likely move on top of that insustrial silo thing which is still really close to the Trader!
@@The-Two-Five Bro it worked so well. I barely had to do any repairs to the base after the horde. Pretty soon I’ll be adding more traps and a pipe bomb pit.
I left my truck full of stuff outside of a traders base. I left town for a few days to work on a different trader and when I came back, it was just a backpack full of stuff. But not all the stuff 😢
your crafting and storage area will probably be fine there but I would move it especially since there isn't too much to move yet...there's always the zamby clown that wanders in and gets stuck in there somehow and starts whacking your boxes
I feel like I'm missing something. How do you have a forge, cement mixer and stuff on day 7? I still can't make the forge or anything like that and I'm also on day 7.
Just very basic & simple min-maxing (the playlist is top pinned comment if you want to see for yourself) - but basically I perked in a way that heavily influenced my magazine drops so I got a lot of Forge Ahead magazines. All I perked into was Electrocutioner for my melee damage and lock picking which for some reason influences Forge Ahead Magazine drops. I think they've updated it since launch so lock picking only boosts Forge Ahead up to 14 or 15 magazines read now, but the simple solution to that is to just not read them until you've stockpiled enough that you unlock what you want to unlock. So if you've perked into master chef and pummel pete you're going to get way more cooking magazines and club crafting magazines for example. Any questions let me know.
Solid design that, do we think that with the increased difficult spike in the game / horde nights for 1.0 and the reduced weapon rewards etc that horde every night would be a bridge too far now? the hordes seem bonkers from what I have seen from the YT creators videos in this new release.
right after I mentioned the NFD building i would like to build a base in. I found one near the second trader Jen I might move there but it will take a few trips on a bike
@@The-Two-Five I found it on day 15 I think i'm just on mid 17 now, done moving setting the base up..in the burnt close to Jen and also close to forest and desert.
It really sucks when the go go gadget arm deals a crit. Like, i dodged that hit, you were dead and i was half a biome away, how did you infect me and break my leg? Lol. Nice base, my spear base im currently using is pretty dope, it does use the current "cheese wedge" but i don't care. It probably doesn't even need the cheese cause of my reach and stamina refill on kills...
@@The-Two-Five please do. I'd love to see you handle the early game learning curve. Getting used to the distance and the precision. Since it doesn't swing you really need to aim... but it's so satisfying to yet a wolf out of sight like a pool ball

I think it'd be viable so long as you use some sort of looping base until you can get to the point of having an insanely OP trap base.

The instant stamina refill on spears is so nice, I need to do a spears run again soon!

4 way pole is better than scaffolding ladders. Blocks spit and melee capable. Big plus easy grenades and molotovs.

I would move your base, but not to your horde base. All in one is convenient, but it's also a good way to lose everything.
I usually would keep them separate but maybe I should live life on the edge this once!
