Im liking this series idea alot! If ever it ends up being too difficult loot-wise, it could be a good idea to branch the challenge out into a tunneller series. Havent seen anybody try the playstyle yet. Basically can only be in building interiors, and you are allowed to make tunnels out into other POIs as long as they remain underground. You can even use bikes and motorcycles to get around after you've dug around enough
Cappo did a series like this but in the modded mall this is going to be harder the hospital is smaller and doesn't have as much loot. Also woodle did a play though where the sun burned kinda like tunneling and I thought it was lame. it takes too much time to get anywhere even in big cities 15 min of moving between 2 pois is very slow and doesn't make for good videos.
@@davidjames1993 This is either for if the mall loot dries up and soft-locks Glock in certain areas so he has an option with equal reward and ass-pain, or if he does a dedicated series with tweaked block damage so the challenge doesnt give him brain damage from mining endlessly

The most underrated mechanic might even come in handy in this series, throwing rocks or snowballs to attract zombie attention outside towards you or away depending how you go about it
Something that might be worth it is crafting a ton of candles/torches to make your base super attractive to screamers, so you can farm the mini-hordes.
Someone mentioned before that they carry ladders around so they can set up a place to climb up to in case they need to back out of a dangerous situation. Seems like it could really help with this playthrough.

Came here to say this. Advanced engineering raises the odds on 3 different magazines while lockpicking only increases the odds of Forge Ahead so it helps a lot more.
Try all the farm plots you see. I think there are some in the hospital where you can plant. They're the ones with the darker dirt (look like they've been watered)
I'm glad Glock isn't scrapping all the nails he finds. He will need 100 of them for the workbench, and lots of steel, more than I think he will be able to get using standard methods
This may end up being my favorite series. I love the whole survival aspect of starting out with nothing and having to make do with whatever you can find. Can’t wait to see what happens next. You are the best Glock.

This reminds me of when you did the Farmer Glock series where you were a vegetarian and were constantly on the cusp of starving to death. Keep up the great series.
This is super cool idea. I like that you are going for the challenge but there are small edits that can be made to make this just a really fun play through. Making loot bags more common, changing the loot table for the hospital a little. But I am excited to see how this goes.

A very simple horde base could just be like 2 ladders and pointed blocks for the zombies to try and cross. It puts themin a loop. I've used it many times in the beginning game stages. I can give you pictures if you like.

Here I am, sitting waiting in my local hospital for my specialists/surgeons to come see me and all I can see in my head is Glock popping the Zombie Staff with the club and then looting their desks.....ah, the little things getting me through the day!! Thanks Glock! You're doing a great service for your fans....don't stop what you're doing....besides, if you do, the Zombies will eat your ass! LOL 😅
AHA - I was kinda waiting to see if you'd clarify the 'digging a mine' possibility. Good - that'll be a source of stone and hopefully ore. I really don't think you could scrap enough stuff down otherwise. This is still going to be a really hard challenge though.
This will be a great series, Glock! It's already been mentioned....bleed is your friend, especially against wights. I sure hope you can find a wrench, or you are mostly screwed.
Oh my gosh i love this challenge trapped inside a building like a hotel or the hospital. At the console it was ok but your settings are much more difficult🙈 i wish you all the best loot luck
As weird as it sounds a point in Lockpicking is much better for increasing the odds of Forge Ahead magazines. Advanced Engineering increases the odds of 3 magazines while Lockpicking only increases Forge Ahead. Very interesting series idea. ❤
Farming in base game w/o mods is trash, it barely breaks even with the 3 perks, there are several videos that go over in detail. But definitely Glock should keep every seed he finds, and plant them.
Here is a challenging idea: you spawn in a city on top of the roof of a big building. You can't go on the ground of the city; instead, you have to bridge from building to building.
Since this challenge is going to be real difficult and heavily rely on what you get from loot bags may I recommend using a bag timer mod that stops them despawning after just 5mins? Appreciate all your hard work in creating content Glock - keep it up!

Not sure on finding an engine, may have to ventoure out n scrap ambulance, perhaps it should be the foot print of the hospital that way you got a chance , any hows looking foward to it 👍
This going to be SWEET. Don’t forget about bleed! Throw a point into forge/workstations early.. so you have a greater chance to get the magazines. That’s ultra important.
Hey Glock, you're gonna need to invest a ton of points into Lucky Looter. Also, with the Ski Goggles, your dismember chance with Agility weapons is increased, so start stabbing things with the bone knife. Uses less stamina, causes bleed, and bones are NOT in short supply at the hospital.
As much as I enjoy your specialty playthroughs, I think this one will be an exercise in futility under A21 books rules. The amount of resource needed to make a gyrocopter will be unobtainable (where is all that steel gonna come from w/o a crucible...which will also require an insane amount of luck to pull as loot, because you will never craft one).
The main challenge here is to see how long can I survive inside the hospital without leaving. If I can survive long enough, I believe crafting the gyro can be possible through loot bags.
@Glock9 Unless my memory fails me, i think you can get a little wood from both the cafeteria tables and the ceiling tile sound trap blocks. certainly any non metal cabinets.

Tbh you may want to craft a spear for situations like the whites even though a stone spear will be outdated soon it may help in sticky situations
