Very clear as always . Your giving me inspiration to get few small tanks n try some smaller fish not normally my thing . Thanks blake 👍
Thanks Cheve glad you enjoyed
I picked up a pair today, hopefully I have some luck and your tips will surely help with that !
Awesome, youll love them just make sure those lids are on tight 😃
Did your pair reproduce?
I bought a school of these, and a school of cobra endlers.
Great video!!
Thanks :)
great for beginners. bad for little fish
Yes, true
Nice video! I just wanted to ask about how long will it take for them to acclimate to a new tank and start producing eggs?
Depends on size but not long. A week or so maximum for adults 👍
@@BlakesAquatics thanks 😊
Do you feed live foods to condition or they just keep them well fed with dry prepared foods?
Theyll breed just on decent dry food no worries
What size do they breed at? Mine are about an inch/ an inch and a half.
Is it better to only have a pair in a tank or better to have them in a grip group to breed?
Either will work fine, have kept them both in groups and pair successfully
@@BlakesAquatics the others won't eat the eggs right away?
@@Tigerhomsombath no they dont really go after eggs, moreso fry
What size tank do you recommend? Could you keep one in a 10 gallon? I don’t plan to breed I just want 1
1 in a 10 gallon should be ok
When do they spawn all the time?
Every morning
Can you provide a link or a name for that breeder box? Thanks!

Now i aleast know who ate all my schrimps lol . Is java moss just as good as a mop,
How big are yours?
Hey Josh, adults are about 6cm long or 2.5 inches
2 months late but I keep mine in brackish she does absolutely fine however I wouldn’t recommend it I only did it because my electric blue acara constantly picked on it.
They are definitely not compatible with cichlids. Blue acaras are generally peaceful but can be bullies. I have 1 and he has alot of personality
