      Dripping off the rear of the block and not in the valley? There is a fuel line that goes into the back of each head, they rely on a little rubber gasket to seal. That is likely your problem. In a truck they can be a little hard to get to, but if your ambulance has a dog house, you might be able to get to them super easy.

    In the process of replacing the drain valve. Ive left the fuel bowl on since I'm at the parts store and don't want to have to buy more tools than i have to. Got it off painfully, hopefully i can get it back on.
    Edit: got the new one on, just takes a flathead, 5/16 wrench, t20 stubby on a long handle quarter inch ratchet and long needle nose pliers. And frustration.

      You’re a brave man for doing that in the parking lot!

      @@EverythingElliott with how much it was leaking, it was either fix it or tow it, and I figured I might as well give it a go if it's gonna need towed. Was leaking so much I started smoking from it hitting the exhaust, and didn't want it to do anything bad on the 30 minute drive home.

    Would O rings from an assortment kit work?

    • @EverythingElliott
      @EverythingElliott  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they would, just match them up. Nothing special about the replacement ones I purchased

      Thanks for watching Dan! When are we going to get the LS swap cutlass progress on video?

    W that fuel pump just delete it, & run an electric fuel pump. For me I’d say to just delete the fuel bowl to a spin on filter that mounts on the fender.
