The hand cannon rolls with air trigger, which is outlaw levels of reload speed, it's the highest single reload buff in the game, unironically a really good perk.
Corrasion’s archetype is one of the strongest primary archetypes in the game currently, and eddy current now gives great reload while amplified to synergies with volt shot.
Agreed, kind of disappointed he overlooked Eddy Current on a Weapon that easily makes you Amplified, and Eddy Current’s buff makes it even more potent and less reliant on sprinting.

Fun fact: air trigger is actually good as a nearly free reload speed buff for all equipped weapons, and having 2 guns with it stacks to outlaw levels of speed.
I adore Lost Signal, this thing absolutely pops off in so many situations. I sometimes struggle with other GL archetypes and this one clicks with me really well.
I actually really enjoy the auto with loose change and headstone, it feels like a legendary vex mythoclast. I absolutely saved all my engrams for that rocket sidearm though.
The rocket side arm is going to be so good with heal clip + demo. Basically turns it into a legendary version of buried bloodline and so good for prismatic given how many grenade based builds there are (especially hunter since this will get easy stacks for GPG)
I disagree, Buried Bloodline has more going for it than what you just mentioned. The ability to apply Weaken along with being able to get Volatile Rounds as a Void Weapon, and its synergy with Aspects like Stylish Executioner or Controlled Demolitions make it a far better option. Plus, you still have to reload every time you want to take advantage of Heal Clip, and activating Demolitionist’s reload benefit goes against that too.
@@heyblaise Obviously buried bloodline has more than the side arm, but the main 2 reasons people use buried bloodline is due to the healing and grenade regen from devour, both of which you get from this weapon while being able to use an exotic in a different slot. Also sorry but outside of a raid boss dps scenario the insta-reload from demo is pretty useless so nobody should be trying to make use of that effect when using the perk on this gun
@@heyblaise it takes like 1 second to reload the gun, it's not that big of a deal. The entire reason why anybody uses demo on a primary weapon (this gun isn't technically a primary but plays like one) is for the grenade regen, not the insta reload part. If people want what buried bloodline does (minus the weaken) but want the freedom to use a kinetic/heavy exotic, they're going to use heal clip/demo
I'm actually wanting a perfect paradox with either threat detector or field prep, then 1-2 punch. It basically has a better version of graverobber in the form of its origin trait, but the difference is that you're going to be reloading your shot every time you go for the 1-2 punch melee, and since it is a rapid fire frame I will definitely be using this over my Swordbreaker largely due to that. Might also replace my ikelos shotgun when need be.
Holy hell heal clip on the new rocket sidearm is going to be a game changer for subclasses without good access to self heal. We’ve gotten a few other specials with heal clip in the past but rocket sidearms are basically a primary weapon with the damage of a special. Also, meme roll on the machine gun: heal clip/killing tally. Slap appended mag onto that bad boy and you have a whole 0.3 seconds to initiate the reload if you want to proc heal clip!
I'm not going to lie, as a 180rpm Hand Cannon HATER, I love Sightline Survey. Ikelos, Subjunctive, and Mini-tool never really hit for me as that energy ad clear machine but Sightline Survey has been my go to Legendary right now. Datto don't sleep on it!!!
Cross: I’m loving all these new weapons Datto: I’m not really stoked by any of these new weapons, except for the rocket sidearm The duality of D2 content creators
Aztecross is a very hype-forward creator. Lots of shouting, loud thumbnails, big excitement for everything. I'm sure his audience appreciates it but I much prefer Datto's 'tired millenial talking straightforwardly' approach.
One little over sight on Line in the sand is the origin trait with the artifact perk. You can absolutely overflow that thing with some melees before damage and even reload it with needle shuriken or even shield throw to take advantage of reservoir burst. If you don’t want to deal with bait I think that’s the only other viable damage it can output.
pretty sure the one two punch (and even trench barrel to an extend) god roll on the perfect paradox will be with field prep, since you basically don't need to ever reload the gun with it's "get ammo reloaded whenever you just deal melee damage" origin trait, you may as well shore up the already pretty generous reserves on the shotgun
Worth noting that for martyrs, 1 kill with a different weapon will reload using envious assassin, so if you do want to use some sort of freaky swapping build that is absolutely an option (just freaky as previously mentioned)
Perfect Paradox with field prep and one two punch combined with the origin trait (grave robber for free) goes so hard for melee titans/hunters. Definitely do not sleep on the amount of ammo you get with this shotty
Im not going for sighline survey but air trigger is really good with volshot, you jump and you get outlaw level reloads. Also on line in the sand the origin trait reloads on mellee hit, haven't tested it yet but seems good.
22:52 Rapid Hit is a great perk on many archetypes. It is *particularly* good on Lightweight Scouts, for both PvE and PvP. Rapid Hit + Explosive Payload was sincerely a great primary weapon for Crucible, when Patron first released in Season 9.
I think perfect paradox is gonna be the best in slot for one two punch stuff because it has a built in mini grave robber with the origin trait cast no shadows as that partially reloads the weapon, pulling from reserves, a and this allows you to grab another perk in the 3rd column since grave robber tends to take this slot, plus it’s a rapid fire frame which means more ammo reserves
i was surprised that the origin trait for the dawn weapons wasnt mentioned at all for the shotgun. having melee hits refill the mag from reserves plays perfectly into trench barrel and one two punch basically giving you wayyyy more uptime on it
fun fact, recoil direction is misleading because of deterministic recoil, it doesnt show how good or bad the recoil is, the number is just a placeholder to show that yea the recoil pattern is different. A 45 recoil direction could be more vertical than 100 recoil direction potentially in these new weapons
Not true. All deterministic recoil does is make it more consistent in the pattern. Recoil direction determines what that pattern can look like. A q00 recoil direction will always be pretty much straight vertical while a 55 will sway to the side still just it'll always be that same pattern now for the most part.
Shoot to Loot/Headstone on the Veiled Threat is far more cracked that I ever expected it to be. The headstone crystals and radiolaria pools trigger Shoot to Loot for you for free and it's just a very fun utility weapon.
7:39 Dual Loader continues to be one of the most underrated perks in the game, halving the time it takes you to reload is not an insignificant buff. With that perk alone you’re effectively rocking 88 base reload speed, and that’s before getting into barrels and mags! Also, just saying, it’s 2 headshots to kill a t10 resil guardian in crucible. So loading once is enough to get a kill in a pinch, paired with eye of the storm, stability/handling perks, and a stability mw, and a bit of patience and time, and you’re absolutely golden. Meta defining? Absolutely not, but the gun rewards the time you invest into it greatly, especially on PC.
I would recommend S2L + incandescent on the timeworn wayfarer because the origin radiolaria perk CAN pick up orbs, even if the incandescent cannot (although if incandescent triggers an ignition that CAN also trigger S2L)
For Martyr's Retribution, because Envious Assassin always rounds up and Martyr's have a magazine of 1, you can basically get 3 in the mag by getting 1 kill, switching to Martyr's, switch back , get another kill, switch to Martyr's, switch back, get another kill, switch to Martyr's and now you have 3 shots in your 1 shot magazine grenade launcher.
Veiled Threat has Loose Change with Headstone so it's good for Stasis Synergy. Always will have high reload speed with the right builds and don't have to worry about a mag perk.
Veiled Threat can reach 35+ meters with almost no recoil in PVP with Arrowhead+Accurized+Fragile Focus+Encore And for PVE Shoot to Loot+Headstone is extremely good for the current artifact. Just use it as a PVP only 720 after the episode ends and the artifact rolls over. Timeworn Wayfairer also can use Shoot to Loot and that even bypasses its own reload. Very good. Actually Shoot to Loot is just good for literally all of these weapons.
In Lost Signal (the grenade launcher) I'm a huge fan of Feeding Frenzy + Reverberation. It's easy to get multiple stacks of Feeding Frenzy with how wide of an area you can spread the pools around, and Reverberation makes it even easier after the first kill. Two or three bursts clears a room and fills the Darkness Prismatic bar.
For lost signal if you are doing mid tier content you can run double special with auto loading if you are a hunter also use one two punch shotty and either liars handshake or relativism with spirit of liar on it. Shoot lost signal at the beefiest enemy. And dodge/shotty/melee + repeat. With the right prismatic you will get extra energy for applying slow. Its really fun for soloing the right encounters in dungeons
7:39 One note with Dual Loader on the Scout, if you enhance it you effectively have a permanent 0.5x reload scalar since it will refill four shots instead of two. Really enjoying Dual Loader/Incan so far
Everyone is sleeping on Corrasion. Highest dps legendary archetype in the game, Eddy current Voltshot is going to become the most reliable voltshot primary with the best range and best damage. That is my number 1 crafting focus
Man the lost signal section made me wish there was a version that shot out alternating light and dark energy type pools. That would go hard af for quick transcendence meters.
@@mahoganywolf8843 very true, so I guess witherhoard is basically that. But still it'd be cool to have light and dark in one weapon taking up only one slot or the other.
Line in the sand with the artifact mod over the origin can get up to 14 shots That’s 8 shots with reservoir (25 percent increase in dps) which is crazy.
triple tap precision instrument on the Sightline Survey is a really solid option for lucky pants dps if for some reason you're running arc hunter or storms edge on prismatic in pve
This is gonna sound odd, but I’m very excited to get the 900 RPM solar MG. If you were to combine it with Song of Flame, you could in theory get scorch and ignitions off VERY quickly. Combine that with Envious/Target Lock, and I think you could be looking at something super potent.
I honestly am really excited for Chronophage. I really don't like Ruinous Effigy and I haven't really found an exotic trace (that I have) that I feel is worth the exotic slot. Seeing Feeding Frenzy and Destabilizing Rounds has me really excited, and especially the Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. It just really fits well into my Warlock void builds and I think has potential to be really good (so long as the gun itself feels good)
Sometimes i wonder what it takes to impress Datto. Lost Signal is basically a discount Stasis frame Witherhoard. What else would you want? Veiled Threat doesn't look amazing on paper, but using it is really fun, and the perk selection is okay too. People continue to overlook Loose Change just because it's not a 100% uptime perk Sightline Survey - put Voltshot, Enlightened Action, and reload masterwork on it. Great little arc gun to mess around with. Ill Omen is a Stasis caster frame. That's enough said as is. Plenty of perk combinations for your liking too. Faithkeeper is admittedly a little underwhelming, but given that it has built-in tracking, and it's a void frame too, you could definitely make it work with some Explosive Light, and Clown Cartridge, or Autoloading Timeworn Wayfarer is in an odd place for me, because I am not a fan of legendary scouts, but that too has a selection of perks you could absolutely have fun with. Besides that, obviously we have yet to receive 4 more guns, and with the exception of the sidearm, we'll have to see how they feel and perform. For what's already been mentioned, this kind of elitism consistently skews the opinions of the public towards thinking that the game is bad, or that your guns are fundamentally unusable, unless they're this one specific roll, from this one specific place. This has to stop
He wants weapons that push the meta. None of them do. Lost signal is cool, but it's too weak to push the meta. In a world of explosive payload or kinetic tremors the solar scout is a peashooter.
Duel Loader imo is the pick for Timeworn Wayfarer. Reload is those lever action scouts kryptonite, and since duel loader got it's reload penalty removed- it makes lever actions spammable. Mix it with Incandescent and it's a good time
You can get Haunted weapons & patterns from running Presage when it's the rotator mission, I believe. [Edit:] Also, from doing the math off the D2Foundry numbers, (iirc) EL vs Bipod vs BnS, assuming you have BnS for all but one rocket & only EL for the first 6 or 7 rockets, total out to within maybe about 25k of each other across the entire reserves for most rockets.
The hand cannon is great of PvP on console. Got my crafted and enhanced fragile focus/precision instrument roll. It feels better than any hand cannons I can remember. Same with the scout rifle, I personally crafted and enhanced keep away/high ground. Went on a 25 streak in iron banner with it.
I really want the Faith-Keeper mainly for the increased void damage to weakened targets, I think something can come of it so I’m focusing heavily on it at the moment.
Veiled Threat is a good weapon to pair with a Hoarfrost Stasis Titan, throw on strategist and collective action to recharge the stasis barricade and take further advantage of stasis shards.
You might think I am joking but I would consider Dual loader on Perfect Paradox. Enhanced version loads in 3 shells at a time which is kinda crazy looking at the fact that rapids already have faster reload because of their frame.
For the arc pulse i would recomend high impact reserves with focus fury as the got to pve roll over any voltshot roll. The 2 round burst pusles clear adds without any help just fine so haveing some perks for chunky enemies is more recomended.
Speaking on Speleologist, Envious Assassin and Killing Tally could be some excellent boss DPS with a solar at 900 rpm. Kind of like a solar version of 21% Delirium.
Veiled Threat and Chronophage automatically get passes from me just by having Shoot to Loot. That perk is crazy useful for maintaining good positions in GMs as well as just general convenience in grabbing ammo when it drops out of the way in general content. The new machine gun might have something to consider with Deconstruct + Incandescent depending on how Deconstruct interacts with those Scorch ticks. If the Incandescent Scorch ticks count toward Deconstruct's counter then the gun will never have to reload.
Applying Slow from distance via Cold Steel, plus a decent chunk of damage (sometimes to multiple targets) is really nice for Ill Omens. Don’t use it as a generic Whirlwind/Relentless sword. There’s other frames that do that perk combination better.
Lost signal isn't just a legendary witherhoard, it actually outdamages witherhoard if the boss doesn't move around. And even if you don't use it for damage I've been loving it for the reason you've said of juicing transcendence, which means I can fill the rest of my kit with void to take advantage of my scars/warrior class item roll. Also, speleologist made me realize we have very few good solar machine guns you can get dps perks on right now, so speleologist at least has that niche even if the frame sucks
I don’t know why people diss Rapid-Fire Frame Machine Guns. It’s got basically the same Traits that 21% Delirium had way back (with Envious Assassin instead of Overflow) but also getting a sick Origin Trait.
I've really been enjoying the veiled threat actually! Using headstone and fragile focus for nice ad clear. The hand cannon too has been so much fun as I've still not managed to craft the Posterity. Went with enlightened action and volt shot for it & it's a lot of fun in PvE - wanting to craft it into a PvP roll soon too.

I adore Lost Signal, this thing absolutely pops off in so many situations. I sometimes struggle with other GL archetypes and this one clicks with me really well.
Sightline Survey is really great. Give it a try. Voltshot with the radiolarium perk works well and 19 in the mag. Scout rifle is also very solid
Cool thing about the solar scout with heal clip, because you load one bullet at a time if actually triggers heal clip super quickly
For Corrasion if you're going for voltshot, air trigger provides outlaw levels of reload for just hopping in the air for a second
Yessir. The side by side is pretty remarkable. Reloads fast as heck.
Or if you're running a subclass that can be amplified easily, eddy current provides +60 reload while amplified.
@@petervalvo1186 Huh. TIL instant reloading is useless outside of “raid boss dps scenarios”.
Cross: I’m loving all these new weapons
Datto: I’m not really stoked by any of these new weapons, except for the rocket sidearm
The duality of D2 content creators
Cross: Sponsored by Bungie.
If you don’t want to deal with bait I think that’s the only other viable damage it can output.
pretty sure the one two punch (and even trench barrel to an extend) god roll on the perfect paradox will be with field prep, since you basically don't need to ever reload the gun with it's "get ammo reloaded whenever you just deal melee damage" origin trait, you may as well shore up the already pretty generous reserves on the shotgun
people are sleeping on the artifact perk that allows cast no shadows to overflow the magazine. Line in the sand can get up to 12 shots
it can get up to 15 actually, it is slept on for sure
I completely forgot about Matyr's Retribution. Thats probably the only one I'm interested in farming for out of all the reprised ones
I think perfect paradox is gonna be the best in slot for one two punch stuff because it has a built in mini grave robber with the origin trait cast no shadows as that partially reloads the weapon, pulling from reserves, a and this allows you to grab another perk in the 3rd column since grave robber tends to take this slot, plus it’s a rapid fire frame which means more ammo reserves
i was surprised that the origin trait for the dawn weapons wasnt mentioned at all for the shotgun. having melee hits refill the mag from reserves plays perfectly into trench barrel and one two punch basically giving you wayyyy more uptime on it
For sightline survey, you definitely want air trigger/ voltshot as it provides the FASTEST reload out of the all the 3rd column perks.
fun fact, recoil direction is misleading because of deterministic recoil, it doesnt show how good or bad the recoil is, the number is just a placeholder to show that yea the recoil pattern is different.
For Martyr's Retribution, because Envious Assassin always rounds up and Martyr's have a magazine of 1, you can basically get 3 in the mag by getting 1 kill, switching to Martyr's, switch back , get another kill, switch to Martyr's, switch back, get another kill, switch to Martyr's and now you have 3 shots in your 1 shot magazine grenade launcher.
lost signal with dragons breath gives transcendance at an alarming rate
Veiled Threat has Loose Change with Headstone so it's good for Stasis Synergy. Always will have high reload speed with the right builds and don't have to worry about a mag perk.
Veiled Threat can reach 35+ meters with almost no recoil in PVP with Arrowhead+Accurized+Fragile Focus+Encore
And for PVE Shoot to Loot+Headstone is extremely good for the current artifact.
“I hope I’m not too late,” Ahh Datto 🙏🙏🙏 (make sure you dont burn yourself out, and keep making good content)
“They not like us”
Don’t forget that Air Trigger has the same reload-speed buff as Outlaw just for a bunny hop… it makes Voltshot way better for the arc weapons!
If they made a kinetic version of the frame that would basically achieve the same thing.
@@mahoganywolf8843 very true, so I guess witherhoard is basically that. But still it'd be cool to have light and dark in one weapon taking up only one slot or the other.
Line in the sand with the artifact mod over the origin can get up to 14 shots
That’s 8 shots with reservoir (25 percent increase in dps) which is crazy.
Air trigger on the hand cannon is cracked, just bunny hop to reload, and its super fast. Took it through last week's GM and it worked great.
triple tap precision instrument on the Sightline Survey is a really solid option for lucky pants dps if for some reason you're running arc hunter or storms edge on prismatic in pve
People continue to overlook Loose Change just because it's not a 100% uptime perk
Sightline Survey - put Voltshot, Enlightened Action, and reload masterwork on it. Great little arc gun to mess around with.
Ill Omen is a Stasis caster frame. That's enough said as is. Plenty of perk combinations for your liking too.
Faithkeeper is admittedly a little underwhelming, but given that it has built-in tracking, and it's a void frame too, you could definitely make it work with some Explosive Light, and Clown Cartridge, or Autoloading
Timeworn Wayfarer is in an odd place for me, because I am not a fan of legendary scouts, but that too has a selection of perks you could absolutely have fun with.
Mix it with Incandescent and it's a good time
On Timeworn Wayfarer, I'm pretty sure since it's similar to DMT it reloads bullet per bullet. So heal clip is really good on that gun.
Always love hearing your input.
Wave frame with incandescent and heal clip with one in the mag 😭 I’m in love
Thinking back on it, I find it somewhat ironic that the last two arc linear fusions both came with weapon perks that reward punching things.
You know Datto doesn't like scouts, because he couldn't remember Trustee and pulled the obscurest of obscure things out of nowhere.
Line in the Sand's origin trait overflows the magazine when paired with the artifact mod 😎
Timeworn is so good in PvP with High Ground. Sightline survey with Air trigger is really nice
I've been loving Sightline Survey in PvP with Keep Away//High Ground.
As someone who's already a fan of this, are you also aware of the radiolaria pool interaction w/StL?
The 180 hc actually works really well with lucky pants and when enhanced it does even more damage than vorpal with triple tap and precision
The problem is that it has to be on an arc subclass/super to take full advantage of the lucky pants damage bonus
Applying Slow from distance via Cold Steel, plus a decent chunk of damage (sometimes to multiple targets) is really nice for Ill Omens. Don’t use it as a generic Whirlwind/Relentless sword. There’s other frames that do that perk combination better.
Man machine guns won't be more than ad clear until they make a new legendary archetype that mimics xenophage in a way
Sleeping on veiled threat
The castor sword is fun swings slow and the cloud slows
Sailspy was goated. Clown Cartidge and Frenzy was so good for solo GMs and generally solo endgame content
The fact that Datto never even considers Shoot to Loot is insane to me.
The auto is great on prismatic with desperate measures. And great on stasis with the shard changes and collective action.
You should give Air Trigger a try if you haven't yet, it's more or less Outlaw on demand just for doing a short hop before hitting reload.
@@KamitsukiLuciela oh yeah, I've been meaning to give it a go! Will absolutely play around with that
I spent an unhealthy amount of time farming an incandescent heal clip Lunas Howl and now they're just... Giving away a better version .
