What a great Hunt! 🎊🎉, someone must have cashed there collection in or been saving £2s for a number of years, that would also explain why some of them were in such good quality 😄👍

Oh my. Christopher, I watch your videos to relax after work. Usually I reach a zen like state 10 minutes in. Today I was on the edge of my seat.. So excited to see stunning coin after stunning coin..and to cap it all a CW NI! Super stuff.

Incredible hunt! The quality of them coins were unreal - especially the star find! There's been a number of hunts like this recently (Bungle on Sunday had a similar one). I think people are cashing in collections to pay for the cost of living crisis at the moment. I don't think this will be the last.
If you're short of dollar, why wouldn't you sell the coins to a collector instead of returning to circulation?
@@djham2916 because selling to a dealer takes time and the post office will give £2 a coin there and then

My goodness, a whole show full of 'Star Finds'. So glad you found the NI Commonwealth. It would be well, well worth the time and effort to swap out some of your old commemoratives for the superb ones you found in this hunt.

I have never rooted for an edgehunt so much as in watching this particular hunt.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hunt were you’ve got that many commemoratives before let alone rare ones. That was incredible. You might be zipping through this book really fast now

You should get in contact with people working at the Post Office main cash processing plant, they remove rare coins from circulation and sell them cheap.

That's what you call a dream hunt.
it screams of someone who puts any £2 coins they get in their change , into a big jar or bottle. Then just cash in the lot , not knowing the worth of some of the coins.

I think this is definitely a cash in from a saver as opposed to a collector . Fantastic hunt 😁👏👏. That NI looked in pristine condition as did a lot of the other coins .

Never seen so many amazing quality coins in a hunt. Well done on finding 2 for the book including the CW Northern Ireland. A collection cash in I suspect. I had a 50p hunt recently where I had a mega cash in, so I know the thrill of getting a bagful of commemoratives. Missed out on an edge hunt though, but knowing your luck it would have been one with a touch of the diddlies! 😁

I have been saving £2 coins for a few years, I saw this video and wondered if I had anything rare so I have got my collection out and found 8 coins that may or may not be worth something but I'm no expert.
2x 1807 slavery, the writing on the side is the wrong way around to the queen which doesn't seem right because I always thought it should be the other way like the other coins.
2x first world War, writing wrong way around on the sides.
1 DNA
2x Shakespeare with skull, one of these as the writing the wrong way as well.
1 Shakespeare jokers hat
1. Invention industry, as no writing on the sides but a pattern instead.
1. Brunel Paddington Station.

For a big hunting Chanel like yourself Chris, finding a collection which is clearly someone's own collection that they have had to cash in because of hard times (possibly) must be such an amazing feeling. So many bag's with entire commemorative coins in. I had this only once and it was 50p's. I had 4 Olympic's in 1 bag, and over all had 6 Olympics, 3 Newton's, 11 Beatrix potters including 2 puddle duck's, plus loads of the face value commemorative and many that are a bit over face value. But unfortunately NO Kew, no offside, no wrestling. Still was an unbelievable hunt though. 👍
What is the fascination with Kew Gardens 50 pences? I have 3 in my small collection but I just think of them as coins with a picture on

If you truly have 3 Kew gardens then you have £1.50 but it's worth about £480. If you mean what you say that "it's only a picture" then I will buy them of you and give you a good price? I still think im being trolled though you little rascal,🤣..
Hi . No I am definitely not being a troll and I hardly ever watch the channel but here in England people who have some Kew gardens coins are unable to sell them for the amount they want or the amount that apparently they should sell for. An item is only worth the amount someone is prepared to pay for it. It just seems a big fuss over a coin
