You guys are just a few hours from Africa. Showing islands like Seychelles, Zanzibar, Mauritius, Reunion, or Comoros would be a great addition to your channel since you've never shown anything in Africa.
We have been to egypt in africa for a month, we do plan on visiting some of those places you mentioned next year though

Maldives is very conservative. You can’t swim in Male in bikini. You have to cover up. I was in Male in my shorts. I only wore my bikini when we were at a resort island. We were at Reethie Resort.

All one has to do enquire about the country’s does and don’ts , of there not to one’s liking pass.

We stayed in Hulhumalé for a month earlier this year. The buses you just tap and go with your contactless bank card, and the ferries are super cheap and really reliable.

Maldives is very dirty, expensive, unsafe for tourists and has so much Islamic restrictions ❌❌❌❌
That's the trouble with Muslim countries, they have so many rules that put Westerners off. Plus there are a million other places that are prettier and much better.
Wow first time i saw this kind of Place in a video in MALEDIVES. Actualy we only see all those white Beaches and floating Luxury Cottages i think Tourist didn't feel the vibes in Town to walked arround that is why they just stay on the Places we only saw on IG.. I find it sad that your the only People walking areound there its like the most Populated City of Male but, you didn't even saw other Tourist Exploring arround..
I think tourists escape the city to their resorts to flee from strict Muslim laws in the main city
I enjoyed our time in the Maldives for about a month but the humidity was brutal. We stayed in the shade and our hotel was air conditioned. We had a car with our group of 4 with air conditioner.
We don't want Carol wasting her time on beaches that don't allow bikinis 😎😀
Hi, local here. this is probly a bit late. Tourist rarely stay in Male city or the greater Male' area. The Beaches on both Male' and Hulumale' are not considered "good" beaches by any standard by the locals (most likely the worst in the country). i suggest visiting other islands if you are looking for beaches. also the taxies cost 85MVR, but the bus cost 10 MVR. Tourist are expected to respect the culture and religion, but we don't expect you to follow our dress code. if it is too hot for you wear some shorts and a vest (not boxes or bikini).

Bout the motocycle thing, you can expect this even tho the island is small, but the humidity & heat is almost unbearable for most maldivians, maybe thats the reaoson why so many people uses motor bikes, ( so that the time outdoors can be reduced )
Makes sense, the heat was really intense! Even at night it was really hot.
Hulhumale the island itself is man-made, so nothing is natural 😆

I have not watched TH-cam for quite a long time and return recently. Glad to see that the number of your subscribers keeps increasing steadily and reaches over 300,000 subscribers.
We were in Chile (Puerto Natales: Torres del Paine) and Argentina (El Calafate and Ushuaia). After that we were in Brazil for carnival and to relaxing after all the hiking in Patagonia.
We were in Arraial Do Cabo. That was absolutely my favorite. One thing about Brazil: it was the worst regarding locals speaking English. 😂 Thank goodness I know a lil bit Portuguese. Even at the airport they don’t speak any English. It was a struggle. I realized that only the highly educated and “rich” people can speak English. We had our Google Translate on deck😂. We want to go back but not during carnival.
Unfortunately the language barrier is a problem in Brazil 😕 I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed Arraial do Cabo 😁 Carnival is a crazy time to visit the country and since it’s a nacional holiday everything is super crowded as all the Brazilians are traveling around. But I hope you enjoyed Brazil either way 🇧🇷😁

I have followed you guys for some time now. You have visited many beautiful locations. Now you are at the Maldives, a country famous for beautiful diving (locations). I am an avid diver and I just returned from the Maldives (Fuvahmulah) observing Manta Rays and sharks. However, I have never seen you do a dive (only snorkelling). Is there a reason for this? It is affordable and you will definitely expand your horizon by doing this.
Unfortunately chris can’t do diving because he has ear problems. I can and I really want to try scuba diving some day. Hopefully this year 😁

I have seen other videos of the Maldives. It is one unusual place for sure. Male is unbelievably densely populated. Many tall buildings. I have always wondered what the heck do the people do there? There is no industry. Tourism of course. Some fishing. But how does that support the huge population of Male? And of course, the Maldives are doomed with rising sea levels.
