Deep in the apocalyptic north lies a mythical river valley, with an old wilderness path, used for pilgrimage journeys long long time ago. Mysterious Apocalypse Man keep's the ancient wisdom alive, by taking a run on the Trail of the ancients, and builds a little stone structure in honor of the ancient times. He dances for the elder's and enjoys a brew of his own ofcourse!

I love this... put a big smile on my face... the photography, music, editing and your performance... all top notch, feels like a big jump suddenly into a very polished piece - whatever that camera is by the way... it is amazing... and what a stunning place that gorge is - is that close to you? Looks much more mountainous than what I've seen in your other work - very dramatic. Hat's off, aye.

well thank you very much man! Yeah, with this piece I started editing right when I got the upcoming adventures trailer ready, and thought I will upload this a week or two after releasing the trailer. Then I went into kind of a creative coma, unable to focus on my creative work or get anything done with it. Had to fight myself out of it, took time and effort but turns out it was just what I needed, revitalized my creativity and then I had the energy needed to get this film to the next level compared to the previous ones.
The camera is a blackmagic pocket cinema 4K, its a proper cinema camera and still I am using a very cheap lense for it, gonna be even more cinematic when I get proper lenses.
I wish the gorge was near me, but its a few hundred kilometers from here, filmed this and a couple upcoming ones on my summer roadtrip to lapland. Where I live its very flat compared to the far north

@@MysteriousApocalypseMan It was time well spent I'd say - it really shows. Funny... I think we talked about perfectionism versus "output" a while back... I had a kind of moment when I went to Ireland of turning my perfectionism back on... or turning my attention to detail back on after years of trying not to get sucked into that so that I could churn stuff out. Point being... I wonder if you're going through a similar thing. Once the base creative process is there you can kind of rocket forward suddenly by adding that back in. Aye... almost a bit shocking... the raising of the bar suddenly. 🤓
...I get that impression from this, the shots are great but more importantly your editing here is flawless to my eye... in the completely unnoticeable way that it is when it's just right.
