Thank you very much brother! So I shall make more films from the building process also next winter, and not just of the finished works. Most people are happy for summer coming but Im a bit sad that spring is already here and I couldnt make more of these icy wonders for this winter. But will plan something spectacular and unseen for next winter😉 Hehe good circulation indeed from constant swimming in the ice waters, daily cold showers and laying naked in the snow after a hot sauna, so it does take training and is not for the weaklings 😄💪 Yes it feels like magic too, something so enchanting to bring these things alive from the ice to visit this reality, just for them to melt away soon and return to the aether.. Like a painting made with a paint that just drains off the canvas soon after its been painted. Glad I found a way to bring the works to other peoples eyes too, before youtube it was just the ravens who wondered on my icy works. Speaking of ravens, theyve now found the new feeding place that I made for them nearer their location, have brought there food multiple times now. And I always imitate them going there for them to notice I am bringing food. one time a raven came and flew above me very slowly, trying to figure out whos this guy, so the project is going forward. Thanks for encouraging me to finally start with it! STAY DANGEROUS!!

@@MysteriousApocalypseMan ...The picture of a man lain naked in the snow miles from habitation, heheheh, a nice image that. Aye, there's a word for artworks of that kind, that incorporate their destruction as part of it but I forget what it is... I had that feeling with my shelter in Cornwall, in a good way, strangely, a feeling of there being a cycle complete in the work as opposed to the more normal thing of it being left to disintegrate without attention, perhaps. The sun rays in those opening shots by the way, aye, majestic they were. I've already mentioned it but I'd say prepare some more light sources you can use while videoing next year's ice builds - ice is such a rich medium for lighting. A few rechargeable LED lights... maybe 4 for the actual object and a few you can put in the woods to light the background, trees look beautiful with under-lighting in the night. Perhaps tea-light candles in jars (or little blocks of ice?) - that's a cheap way of creating a sea of "fairy lights". At one of my parties on the farm, down in the valley bottom where there was no wind, I sat maybe 100 of those little candles in the trees surrounding the camp and it was incredibly magical being surrounded by all these twinkling pin-pricks of light sat by the fire. That could work nicely around one of those constructions, being on the spinning carousel in the night with loads of little lights circling around you as it turned would make for a pretty magical shot from onboard the carousel... particularly with a horizontal motion blur like in night-time shots of lights on a motorway - not sure how such long exposure like that is achieved with film/video but, something to explore. I will. 🔥🐉 [Oh, and look forward to seeing these crows/ravens. Special thing that. 🤓 ...Right, get this flipping talk edited Jess! Stop distracting yourself! 😉]

Yes it looks so beautiful when the background moves slowly like that. Also makes you dizzy when being on the carousel

Haha true, or put multiple baits on the circle and sit in the middle waiting. It rolls quite well without any motor also, just have to give it a little push every few minutes

yep the sun was what melted it so rapidly, but I have 3 films filmed on the sauna so no worries! and a banger channel trailer I will release tomorrow probably

Thats a good idea, I might test that in a couple days! The light I had in the sauna (in the later shorts) could work on that but however the water is pretty dark/muddy on that pond so well see how it works. Next winter as in the beginning of winter the ice is clear all the way and no snow on top that trick will do wonders

YEs it was quite hard work to make that. full vid of the building process is coming later

Eventually yes but it lasts for a while. I used a metal bucket filled with stones and heated for hours in a fire as a stove and it worked nicely. Full video of the building process and more will be on my channel later

Yes it is often pretty hard work making these and takes a lot of time and effort, but I do have much fun when building them, it is a great feeling to bring in to this world something that really has never been done before. Ice art is what lifts my soul the most, working with the cold and frost deep in the forest really makes you feel alive. So a big thankyou for your interest in my videos 🤝
