I do wonder if Samsung will make a Samsung Galaxy A81, the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A80. It won't use the huge pop up camera like the A80 and go with the punch hole camera. But if they are going to use the pop up camera, it will use the tiny pop up camera similar to Xiaomi phones and Vivo V series phones, it won't take much space like the A80.
Thanks for the comparison! I hear a lot of hype surrounding these Amoled/Oled displays. I've been reading that they're at higher risk of screen burn-in compared to lcd displays. If so, I'd much rather choose an lcd display with slightly lower resolution. For someone like me who has been using a five year old phone until recently, I doubt I'd even notice the difference.
I got this phone as well but unless you really hate yourself I don't see why you would keep it for 5 years. It's good for the price but putting up with the low storage, lackluster performance, unreliable cameras and dim-ass screen for that long is not something I'm willing to do, upgrading next year for sure. It also overheats like crazy. This is not a long-term phone.
@@caseyn3519 A21 - day to day use. A51 - mobile games (pubg, codm, fortnite, etc) It really all comes down to that.. (If you're not a mobile gamer I'd recommend you get the A21. I'd also say just save up your money, that way you can get the A51, and not constantly regret you got the A21. (I have the A71 and it's a beast of a phone)
@ML HACKS right brother, samsung may gives us lower capability chipset but the build quality of the phone, the panels, frames, buttons, monthly updates are excellent, China phone start degrading by their own after the first year and user faces many hardware problems within 2 year, and the software updates on China phones bring a lot of bugs too,

At 9:27, as far as the CPU goes, there isn't much between the two. GPU though, the 21S is considerably faster at 21,762 vs 12,858 which makes the 21S about 70% faster in gaming than the A21.
I have the A21. If you don't mind the bottom bezel & aren't really crazy about an "AMOLED" display, this is a GREAT phone. It's fast & I'd recommend it if you don't mind the things I previously mentioned.
I would have recommend the A31 for all the folks going for the A21 but the A31 has got a teardrop notch which kind if looks exactly like last year's A series. So this year the A series is kind of confusing!

I'm coming from a s5 with a super amoled display and I recently got the a21s with the LCD display. I really couldn't tell the difference between the two until I started watching tech videos with the comparisons.
@@ladym1686 It's good. Had it for maybe 3 months or almost 3now. Runs smoothly, only glitched 2 or 3 times the most. Had one software update since I've gotten it, not sure if I can again now. If you're looking for like a very high end camera quality, probably not the best, but it's still a good camera in my opinion, definitely not terrible. I'm not a heavy gamer so I can't judge specs in that department. I play Asphalt 8 a lot and it runs smoothly, at least to me. So yah. Not sure if more is needed.

I have the Galaxy A20 and I don't see the point in upgrading to the A21s. I get 125636 in antutu and 270 Single core 1005 in multi core in geekbench so there's really no performance difference. I couldn't give up amoled not to mention I think the A20 is getting android 10 and one ui 2.0 . I agree with your statement that it's probably better to go a bit higher

For a mid-range smartphone, I don't think that's bad. With a mid-range smartphone you have to reckon with compromises. If you can see over it this is really a great smartphone! 😊

Yep. Amoled is beautiful. I can't even upgrade my mom's A20 because the screen is so good. Even the A32 5G doesn't have amoled & the A42 is out of the price range. It's a shame the a20 is still relevant.

The video should have started with the internal RAM configurations available for these 2 phones, the battery and processor. Both run Andorid 10 As it is ...the first 8:30 of this video are a complete waste of time. The important stuff in this video is all between the 8:30 & 11:57 marks. No one in their right mind buys a smart phone based on a slight difference in the pixel density of the screen. And the color of the camera is also irrelevant since most people buy a case for their phone, the first week they own it. The only reason I know my phone is black, is because the case is clear. I had the A20 i really loved that phone ....but it was stolen then I shortly after upgraded well thought I was upgrading to the A21 which I really like the look of the phone the 4 camera set up and color was fine but I then herd about the screen change spec wise the guy sold me that it was better than the A20 but im not as satisfied but I still love Samsung products so hey ....no complaints

It surprises me how much time reviewers spend analyzing the cameras that come with smart phones. It's become even more annoying since almost all smart phones now come with multiple cameras. So in this review there are eight (8 !) cameras to over-analyze It seems like phone reviewers need to start making separate reviews of phone cameras for the people who are obsessed with camera quality in a phone. Does anyone know how to stop this phone from lighting up (when the screen is off) when text messages come in? It's driving me crazy. There is no "Ambient Display". There also is nothing under "lock screen" that I can find that will turn this off.

I had the A20 i really loved that phone ....but it was stolen then I shortly after upgraded well thought I was upgrading to the A21 which I really like the look of the phone the 4 camera set up and color was fine but I then herd about the screen change spec wise the guy sold me that it was better than the A20 but im not as satisfied but I still love Samsung products so hey ....no complaints

It surprises me how much time reviewers spend analyzing the cameras
that come with smart phones. It's become even more annoying
since almost all smart phones now come with multiple cameras.
So in this review there are eight (8 !) cameras to over-analyze
It seems like phone reviewers need to start making separate reviews
of phone cameras for the people who are obsessed with camera
quality in a phone. Either that or make it MUCH easier for other people
to skip past this portion of the review

Does anyone know how to stop this phone from lighting up (when the screen is off) when text messages come in? It's driving me crazy. There is no "Ambient Display". There also is nothing under "lock screen" that I can find that will turn this off.
