I bought the A25 5G because it was within my available budget and because I find useful to have a 3.5mm audio jack. I love photography and video and that's what I miss themost since I switched from an old flagship phone. I use the phone for light tasks (maps, music, web browsing) and it is smooth and comfortable enough to use in its 8GB RAM/256GB ROM variant, which is available in Latin America. The camera is good enough in good lighting and outdoor conditions, video can be good if you have some manual settings and the only truly horrible thing about the phone is its vibration motor which is slow and feels very cheap. All in all, I do not regret having bought this phone.

This is a great budget phone buy! ❤ "manage your expectations." Thats the best advice. 128gb is certainly not a lot and pushes a user into cloud storage or clearing media to external storages. Keep apps to a minimum and delete bloatware, and the user will be fine. No Qi charging or IP67+ rating is an adjustment. Samsung website runs deals all the time. 4 years of OS updates & 5 yrs security patches!!! This is an A series that adds up one phone at a time. It will be here to stay as long as the market demands.
Hello, thanks for great advice ! Please, just one question - is it possiblle in settings to hide notch , like on many samstng phone, for example on A52s ? Thanks if you have a time and answer to me. Best regards 🎉
The new models of the A series are due out soon. I have been looking for the new A series models, and i found information that A16 A56 are coming out,but nothing as far as A26 or A36 as of yet. I have noticed that from A05s to the A15 5g theres a big jump in what you get, same with the A15 5g to the A25 5g but from A25 5g to the A35 5g and so on,what you get for the extra money does not give the big jump as previosly stated.
Thanks for this video, like always you are pointing on serious things that matters for each of us in different ways. For me, important is the display ( check) the microsd slot (hybrid or not) check(1TB) the sound (cheeck) cause it will be the second phone...for masterclasses, for screenrecordings, audio...and the Exynos 1280 will be good enaugh for this. For daily use I still got a S20 FE 5g ( because the microsd, the snapdragon 645, that works great) for banking and serious stuff. Thank you for make me choose A25, instead A35( bigger &heavyer). Well, about future plans of Samsung about A(2..) series, I don't think they disappear...the big sales are made by midranger &low midranger phones, not by toptear. I hope they keep'em all, they have their place, important in market.
I wanted the A25 but ended up getting an A15 4G because budget constraints. The price for the 8/256 A15 vs 8/256 A25 is a 2x jump in price which did not make any sense compared to getting an 8/256 A34. That was about 6 months ago. Currently for the 8/256 variants the A15 is ~$150 and A25 is ~$225 and A34 is ~300. But during a sale the A25 and A34 are pretty much the same price or the A34 is a bit less at times. I focus on 8/256 mainly because the lower variants either 4/128 or 6/128 depending on the phone model.
Just upgraded from xiaomi9T (2019) to this. Here in Australia the A15 is only available with 4GBRAM while the A25 has 6GB, so it is really presented as an middle option at 25% more price. A nice sweetspot between the A35 and A15 or A05 for those who use the phone for basic productivity and are not comfortable with 4GB RAM (Even my old xiaomi has 6gb RAM), specially now that banking, purchases, emails, QR codes etc need more and more multitasking between apps.
I think a big problem with Samsung trying to "force" people to buy their higher-end phones is that a budget conscious consumer isn't going to see a lack of a competitive midrange/budget Samsung phone and decide to buy the flagships or the FE, they're going to decide to buy from a different company altogether who does offer competitive, good value phones at the price range they're after. Especially in markets such as India which Samsung really cannot afford to lose
The problem with that idea is in the U.S. there arent too many "other" options - mostly Motorola, and a random OnePlus phone from time to time. Budget-conscious buyers aren't ever going up in the lineup, they'll instead go down. So without the A55, they get the A35, or without the A25, they get the A15.
@@TechDailyughh guys while it sucks Samsung decided not to sell the A 55 in the US I think it’s because the S23 Fe came on a very similar price and look to the A55 just on the states if I’m not wrong. Here in Mexico tech is more expensive usually and income is lower than the US so Samsung still kept the A55 but I think Samsung thought the majority of people in the US can get an S23 FE so they eliminated just for this time the 55. But I think you guys will get The A56 next time. If Samsung eliminated one number in the A lineup for good it would be the A30 something and A20 something to keep only A 5x and A1X lineups.
I'm Watching it on A25 It really is an amazing phone Don't listen to anyone At this price U can't find a better phone than this one Maybe on paper But in reality, this is the best choice
Was happy to get A34 instead of this) better all around minus one year of updates and the headphone jack. But for the same money you get no chin, no Exynos, better camera and water resistance. Plus the software is a bit more capable on upper A models if I'm correct
For someone who'd been using top end phones for many many years, (iPhones & Note 20s), I've been using the A25 & A54 for couple of years now and tbh, I have no regrets downgrading to mid range devices. A25 and A54 are excellent, decent performing phones.
Thank you for the video. Does this have fm radio? Also does the a35 have sd card slot And headphone jack? As these two features are most important for me
A series are getting better and better, I hated Samsung mid range and poor UI optimization until they released the A55, upgraded from Redmi note 12 pro to A55, now I'm a Samsung lover
and the prices are good in Chile I bought the A55 for 280 USD, I think is the most complete phone for the price at least in latinoamerica, compared to FE series and S series
@Just4freepremium Well expensive devices aren't for everyone and no one is buying these entry level smartphones for their performance. Some ppl just don't want to spend thousands on a phone that their gonna use just to call, send messages and a bit of social media.
I had the A42 a few years back, and my daughter has the A25 😂 Honestly, not perfect phones but still pretty good. The A42 was still going strong, I only got rid of it once the screen broke. It wasn't worth replacing the screen at that point. The A25 my daughter has actually runs pretty smoothly. It only gets a little warm when she's been running a game for a long time.
The A42 was a phone I really liked, but it really made no sense in the lineup lol I think Samsung made it out of all the spare parts they had. Glad the A25 is working well for your daughter!
The A series is one of the few reasons why I will stuck with Samsung when looking for mid-range phones. The ones with headphone jack are decent "back to basics" smartphones, in addition to being perfectly doing fine with Android Auto-equipped in car entertainment system. In markets where the midrange segment is overwhelmingly dominated by Mainland China brands that are still not having stable ROMs for connectivity with in-car entertainment systems, Samsung A series is like a godsend.
Price determines everything for people on budget. If A25 256 GB variant costs 70-80 usd/eur cheaper than A35 256 GB variant, than for people who don't need stabilization on main camera 4K videos A25 is good enough of a choice.
The only reason i considered the galaxy A35 was the splash and dust resistance, not available in A25. However, the headphone jack lured me to this and i dont mind the bezel situation. Also, the stereo speakers sound great.

But My eyes are still on Redmi or Honor or Realme-Oppo-Vivo etc from BBK. Good phone but each company has a trade-off for something.
I've got one as a spare phone as an add on to me main contract with unlimited data, texts and calls, handset costs £7.50 a month. Runs like a much more expensive handset

I sold my S23 FE because it heats up. It was my first Samsung that has Exynos. Now I understand why people don't like it lmao I'm thinking of getting this! But I don't know if it's available in my country. This phone seems decent.
I find it really strange that we can buy unlocked versions of the A25 5g and A73 5g readily here in Australia, yet you can't in a market that's at least ten times bigger..🤔
A25 is the best bang for buck this year from Samsung. It has the same cpu as the infamous A53 which was rated as a very weak midrange phone. If you cannot afford it then just buy used. Don't give money for A05/15
What do you think @TechDaily Should i save for the 8gb ram or should i buy the 6gb ram, i would ues it for Gaming and for calls and for making pictures.
I think what Samsung should do with their A- series is: Stop the A10 and A30 series. The A0 series becomes the A10 series (with few upgrades), and the A30 series may choose to join the A50 series (since both have similar features). That leaves three devices in the series, allowing the FE series worth it. *in my opinion
I know about that phone. That and the A15 are super good but the A25 has a bit of a better resolution than the A15. However the A15 is more the best selling android smartphone in the world since everyone on earth bought it especially me.
Yes barely anyone knows about this phone, but have you ever heard of the Galaxy A82/Quantum 2? There's barely even videos about it. It's also the most high-end A-series Samsung phone ever, and its also the ONLY A-series phone other than the S or Note Series that has a Curved 120Hz Display
They need like 3 A series, 3 S series and one FE release in the middle of the year, that's it. This year would have been A15, A35, A55, S24, S24+, S24U, then S24 FE in the middle of the year in between the A55 and S24. A0x should be ditched, time to go 5G only. Instead of S24+ being a bigger S24, it should have S24U's camera setup without the pen and smaller screen. Then the S24FE would be like cheaper but bigger S24.
A25 is a perfectly fine device and discounts could be had too. Shame that the hole punch from the A21s hasn't returned because the notch is really the only downside to this device. Hoping the hole punch comes back for next year's A26.
I'm going to buy one soon and chose the A25, not because the A35 is expensive, but because the A35 is heavier. I don't know why weight doesn't matter to anyone:)
It seems as though Samsung has ditched the "S" iteration within the A Series this year. I have the A06 right now (unboxing coming soon) but I don't know of any A06S or other S model that exists currently.
@@TechDaily Oh.. that's too bad. A06 only has 720p panel and they removed LCD panel from all higher models. I don't get it why they have to put OLED panel in every model. Keeping one 1080p LCD model would have been nice.

4) Stereo Speakers which are awesome with Dolby Atmos.
5) UFS 3.1 with LPDDR5 Ram for faster read write speeds in file transfers.
6) 256 GB storage
All this at just $300 😂🔥
TechDaily, nice video dude
Thanks so much! 🙏
I'm planning to buy this phone from Straight Talk for $180 with the 6/128gb variant. I think it'll be a great phone for the money since I don't expect to pay high dollar for a flagship. I know phones like the Motorola G Power 5g are better, but they don't have the same software support.
I have the M34, pretty much the same with this A25, except it lack stereo speakers and have 6000mAh battery
Wish we had the M Series in the U.S.!
@@TechDaily So far it is only available in Brazil, Europe, and select Asian markets
Im Loving My A25 The Dual Speakers And The Headphone Jack
Galaxy A25 heavily underrated It is the ideal cost-benefit midrange, for those who do not want a device as basic as the A15 4g but in other hand the A34 or A35 5g are stratospherically expensive... this phone is siick🔥
The A35 and A55 don't have a headphone jack, so it is interesting they didn't remove it from the A25
They didn't remove it from the A15 either.
I'm glad they didn't. The micro sd card and 3.5 jack are still wanted and used
@@696969bold The A32 released in 2021 did have a 3.5 jack, but beginning next year in 2022 with the release of the A33, these phones no longer have a 3.5 jack
I use a 7 Plus and would actually get this or like an A35 or A55, they’re actually pretty good, decent phones
I've had the A25 for a few months. I bought it from Amazon.
How much was it???
How would you rate it from 0 to 10?
A36 appeared in the leaks as of now, so a26 seems dead to me
Thanks for this video, like always you are pointing on serious things that matters for each of us in different ways.
The a25 is just the a34 from last year so you are actually getting real value for your money. I'd buy it.
A34 is better than the A25 in ALL aspects. Definitely do not buy it over the A34 lmao
The phones definitely overlap each year - getting "last year's" phone is always a good move.
I'm using A22 5G since 2022. I'm glad that this phone is using PLS LCD after my S21 caught 2 pink lines 3 years using.
Sheeesh that's unlucky

For me, Samsung A25 is a bare minimum for a good smartphone, have OIS, also stereo speaker
I wouldn't mind if the A25 was the new entry-level device.
I'm torn between A15 128/6 and A25 128/8, anything that can help me in my decision is appreciated
@@Peoplecanfly1 I would get the A25 5G with 8/128GB variant, because you will get stereo speakers, a higher nit in brightness and a better camera.
I've had the Samsung a25 5g for 2 weeks now. I bought it from Amazon South Africa for $226. I would recommend it 👌

Im an amateur photographer and I use the A24 4g. Ive had some banger pictures. The a25 is just as good.
Fantastic video! I truly value your consistently honest and well-explained videos. Keep up the excellent work!🙂
that audio jack is useful for fm radio.
I'm Watching it on A25
It really is an amazing phone
Don't listen to anyone
At this price
U can't find a better phone than this one
Maybe on paper
But in reality, this is the best choice
Love the wallpaper, Wade. Can you provide a link for downloading it ?
I sort of just found a random one from Google when I typed in "blue Samsung wallpaper" - if I find it again I'll link it!
is it better than A15?
Was happy to get A34 instead of this) better all around minus one year of updates and the headphone jack. But for the same money you get no chin, no Exynos, better camera and water resistance. Plus the software is a bit more capable on upper A models if I'm correct
For someone who'd been using top end phones for many many years, (iPhones & Note 20s), I've been using the A25 & A54 for couple of years now and tbh, I have no regrets downgrading to mid range devices. A25 and A54 are excellent, decent performing phones.
In my country they sell this phone but with 256gb of storage and 8gb of ram, same thing with A15, A35 and A55.
Thank you for the video. Does this have fm radio?
Also does the a35 have sd card slot And headphone jack? As these two features are most important for me

and the prices are good in Chile I bought the A55 for 280 USD, I think is the most complete phone for the price at least in latinoamerica, compared to FE series and S series
Why get this when last year's a34 is available for a similar price and has better specs?
@Just4freepremium Well expensive devices aren't for everyone and no one is buying these entry level smartphones for their performance. Some ppl just don't want to spend thousands on a phone that their gonna use just to call, send messages and a bit of social media.
It's basically the same device same chipset

I was looking for new work phone and this video sealed the deal!
The M34 5G will be better as it has the same exact specs as thsi one , but with extra battery with a gaint 6000mlA battery .
mediatek chipset was amazing on the A series until they changed to exynos one. Ive been using A22 4G since 2021
same I'm using a22 4g ❤😊
I had the A42 a few years back, and my daughter has the A25 😂 Honestly, not perfect phones but still pretty good. The A42 was still going strong, I only got rid of it once the screen broke. It wasn't worth replacing the screen at that point. The A25 my daughter has actually runs pretty smoothly. It only gets a little warm when she's been running a game for a long time.
The A42 was a phone I really liked, but it really made no sense in the lineup lol I think Samsung made it out of all the spare parts they had. Glad the A25 is working well for your daughter!
Seems like perfect backup phone for my S24 Ultra 😂
Consooom
Lots of people using these phones for back-up devices nowadays 👀
The A series is one of the few reasons why I will stuck with Samsung when looking for mid-range phones. The ones with headphone jack are decent "back to basics" smartphones, in addition to being perfectly doing fine with Android Auto-equipped in car entertainment system. In markets where the midrange segment is overwhelmingly dominated by Mainland China brands that are still not having stable ROMs for connectivity with in-car entertainment systems, Samsung A series is like a godsend.
My first Samsung smartphone is the A21S. Then I upgrade to the M52 5G and now finally I'm using the flagship S23.
The combination of stereo speakers and the super Amoled display is what attacked me, specially by its price! And plus it’s 120htz
I saved big on mine boost had a promotion for it's customers til the end of September, my out the door price for this phone with activation was $60.66 👍🏿
I have the A10 and it's quite a great phone to me in past but over time I realized how limiting it was . Still tho it still does the job well for basic tasks. I went with OnePlus Nord 3 Ce this time.
I have done my upgrade from vivo y66 to Samsung a25 .. but its good by the way ❤
The 6GB RAM / 128GB version unlocked is only 180 USD converted in the Philippines with free 25watts samsung charger. It is snappy and definitelu value for the monwh. Why is it 299 in the US !!
I know this phone existed! Because I saw it at US Cellular when I was getting the A35.
Is switching from A14 to this a good idea? (i still want headphone jack)
Definitely! This is the highest A Series with a headphone jack that isn't an older phone
It is actually a great backup phone for my S22 Ultra.
I've heard more and more people buying 2nd phones as back-ups - definitely a good idea!
Me watching this video in my samsung A25 5g in south Africa 😊 I love this phone.
Whag is the blue wallpaper you are using?
Blue MacOS Big Sur HD phone wallpaper
I sold my S23 FE because it heats up. It was my first Samsung that has Exynos. Now I understand why people don't like it lmao I'm thinking of getting this! But I don't know if it's available in my country. This phone seems decent.
Hopefully the A30-somethings adopt the headphone jack that would basically be left behind if the A20-somethings do in fact kick the bucket
No chance unfortunately
Where you get the wallpaper?
I Googled "blue Samsung wallpaper" and chose one at random lol
The only thing that I don't understand about the Samsung A25 is that they removed the third card slot. As the Samsung A24 had three card slots.
Don't give money for A05/15
I definitely agree with the "buy it used" point - a used older phone is always good!
I used an A21s since 2021 til 2024 I gave it to my younger brother to buy an Honor 90 lite A series is a decent lineup
What do you think @TechDaily
Should i save for the 8gb ram or should i buy the 6gb ram, i would ues it for Gaming and for calls and for making pictures.
I would highly prefer the 8GB/256GB, I'm thinking of purchasing one myself real soon. 😉
Have you heard pf the M35? Basically a A35 with bigger battery and side mounted fingerprint scanner
I know of the M Series but we don't get them in the U.S. unfortunately
I have not! I'll have to see if I can find that phone...
Looks like a great phone.
It definitely is!
any greenline issue
U can get an A54 for $250-$350 nowadays, really no point in getting the 25 or 35 right now unless it’s on sale for a good price
A25 is a perfectly fine device and discounts could be had too. Shame that the hole punch from the A21s hasn't returned because the notch is really the only downside to this device. Hoping the hole punch comes back for next year's A26.
Still a better screen than the newest iPhone
Isn't the A25 really popular in India?
In Australian Amazon the A25 is actually more expensive than the A35, and the A35 is the one selling in bricks and mortar stores
I'm going to buy one soon and chose the A25, not because the A35 is expensive, but because the A35 is heavier. I don't know why weight doesn't matter to anyone:)
Does anyone knows what happened to A0Xs (A06s) model this year?
It seems as though Samsung has ditched the "S" iteration within the A Series this year. I have the A06 right now (unboxing coming soon) but I don't know of any A06S or other S model that exists currently.
@@TechDaily Oh.. that's too bad. A06 only has 720p panel and they removed LCD panel from all higher models. I don't get it why they have to put OLED panel in every model.
