2011 was not a great year at all. The sport went from being about pushing the cars and tyres to the limit on Bridgestone tyres to literally being a tyre preservation championship with Pirelli in 2011. It basically helped slower driver's be more competitive with faster drivers just through managing tyres. Plus DRS made it easier for every driver to overtake so it literally meant that the drivers who were the best overtakers before 2011 no longer had any advantages in that area either.

2011 was better than 2020 without doubt
Compared to 2010 it was awful
@@HaraiGoshi345 2010 had more action in the points table rather than in the track.
@@retromaniaco_br7422 In 2010 nobody won a race while they were leading the championship, so the lead changed a lot. 4 drivers being able to win the WDC in the last race is a record which speaks for itself.
It took me sometime to wait for the *"It's lights out aaaand away we goo!"* But...it never came
what a well designed track, one of the best
0:03 It's lights out and away we go!!!

This was formula 1, today formula 1 is dead. The sound, the emotion, the fights, all gone.
Then simply don't watch and don't complain every second
👏👏
emotions are still there.
4 teams fighting for top positions. I feel nostalgic
The back straight and last 3 corners seem perfect for a passing chance and action
Lovely to see Schumacher fighting with Toro Rosso 😂
